NBA BTTF VI Draft - DONE! Regular Season OVAH. Commence trade talk and six month wait for WIS rosters (3 Viewers)

10.15 Delon Wright, PG, Raptors

Insurance for Lowry, plus he's actually had solid numbers in his limited NBA playing time.

G: James Harden, Kyle Lowry, Tyreke Evans, Delon Wright
F: Tobias Harris, Pau Gasol, Marvin Williams
C: Mason Plumlee, Aron Baynes, Joffrey Lauvergne
this team made me turn on jets v browns from this sunday....blecch

Yea. No nap for me today. Actually working today. Bunch of needy college students. Losers!

Evan Turner - SG, Blazers

He has to suck less this year
 He played pretty much like he had every other disappointing year of his career. The only difference was his assist rate which can't/shouldn't be as high as it was with Boston because Lillard and McCollum are much better play makers than he is.

ETA: You drafted him in the 11th round or whatever because of that, though. He was on my shortlist as a decent end of bench guy that will have solid minutes and tons of positional flexibility.

All he does is get buckets and get em efficiently. Contract year again, so should stay the same or improve.

Ready to roll, and get a long list for the next few rounds going (that may need to wait until my plane ride east tomorrow, or between my working on two presentations/speeches, an MOU for a new development opportunity, an outline for a major conference we are hosting for one of our clients to demonstrate the benefits of light rail in the triangle region and a new downtown place assessment so I can make some $$'s in the short term)

Ok, @bananafish times out.  Glad this big made it around - again, looking for 18-20 MPG of solid rebounding and effeciency for the little scoring that may happen.  My first bad free throw guy, also (more happenstance than by design)

ED DAVIS, PF/C PORTLAND

@hagmania OTC

SG:       Will Barton     |  Malcolm Brogdon  | TJ Warren

SF:        T.J. Warren    |  Michael Beasley    |  Omar Casspi

PF:        Enes Kanter  |  Skal Labissiere      |  Ed Davis

A lot of interchangeable parts as Beasley can play both F and last year was also 100% at SG.  All PF and C should be interchangeable, and in terms of WIS, likely to have Kanter back up KAT if he has a Kanter-like season of offense, as they profile pretty similarly, and will make for more consistent rotations in terms of usage and skill sets.  But, could see going twin towers of offense and then addition additional scoring to a second unit to complement Mozgov's lack of scoring (though he's not terrible).

definitely a fluke that you won last year. outside of KAT this team is terrible

and believe me, I know terrible in these things
Thank god

1. I know winning in these things

2. KAT kinda counts.  Especially since the team is built around him and to play to his strengths.

3. Per the two above, it aint about the 5 best players out there, and certainly not about the 5 best "NBA" players.  It's about building a team that is designed to sim well (imo, the two are not usually AS far apart as we make them, other than defense which is totally screwy... the stats look off, but imo, it's not an awful representation of the talent, at least those talents that are measurable in statistics).

4. Last year I knew nothing (John Snow) - now I know some things.  So you are probably right.  Gonna be terrible.

11.10 Dwight Powell, PF, Mavericks

Super excited to get this guy here... because after Felicio he was the last name on my list and I'm not in the mood to do more research.

G: James Harden, Kyle Lowry, Tyreke Evans, Delon Wright
F: Tobias Harris, Pau Gasol, Marvin Williams, Dwight Powell
C: Mason Plumlee, Aron Baynes, Joffrey Lauvergne

11.9  The Corpse of Joakim Noah  C  NYK
Had he not have to serve a 12 game suspension would have gone with him over Davis. But between losing 15% of the season, likelihood of limited minutes AND likelihood of injury went a little "safer" (with a guy just coming off shoulder surgery :oldunsure:  )

That said I'd have been glad to get him as he was in the final grouping I had of limited but productive minutes with Koufas, Davis and Noah.

I really liked the idea of Noah's zero scoring and mad assists though for a certain lineup opportunity (though that can be tough to micro- manage in the sim)
