NBA BTTF VI Draft - DONE! Regular Season OVAH. Commence trade talk and six month wait for WIS rosters (1 Viewer)

my team is sucking on fantrax but doesn't seem too bad IRL

PG - Kemba Walker / Andrew Harrison (he's been better the last couple months)

SG - Eric Gordon / Jamal Crawford (2 guys who can't shoot this year)

SF - Aaron Gordon / Bojan Bogdanovic (might be my best 3 pt shooter)

PF - Zach Randolph / Marquese Chriss (what a #### 4th round pick he was)

C - Deandre Jordan / Bam Adebayo

hopefully the SIM loves Jordan like in years past.  seems like a playoff team to me but Fantrax is telling me no

PG: Kyle Lowry 31, Delon Wright 17
SG: James Harden 32, Tyreke Evans 16
SF: Tobias Harris 32, Tyreke Evans 10, Marvin Williams 6
PF: Pau Gasol 24, David West 13, Marvin Williams 11
C: Dwight Powell 20, Mason Plumlee 18, Aron Baynes 10

Baynes kinda sucks and has a .500 TS%, but everyone else is at least .550. Plus I have a ton of assists which will improve those percentages. Should have an offense efficient enough to overcome mediocre rebounding and a total disregard for defense.

Guesstimating MPG come end of season, health permitting (but considering a guy like Brogdon to be out most of the remainder of the season and adjust downward, accordingly):

PG: Jeff Teague (28), Malcolm Brogdon (20), Jameer Nelson (14)

SG: Will Barton (30), Reggie Bullock (20)

SF: TJ Warren (30), Michael Beasley (18)

PF: Enes Kanter (24), Ed Davis (18), Omri Casspi (10)

C :  KAT (34), Skal Labissiere (14)

I'll likely put split Kanter between starting PF and backing up KAT, so I should have a solid offensive and rebounding Center in at all times.

Very solid Shooting percentages as well as rebounding... pretty much my approach last year.  While KAT has not been the offensive force this year, it's good offense all around that might be tough to just double someone, since you have KAT, Kanter, Warren and Beasley that can all really fill the bucket, Teague and Brogdon not bad for their positions and can hit the three, and Barton isn't terrible either.

PG: Kyrie (30 mpg), Mills (24), J Murray (31)

SG: JR Smiff (29), Ginobili (16)

SF: W Chandler (31), Anunoby (20)

PF: Aminu (24), Gallo (10)

C: Horford (30), M Gasol (32), McGee (6)

I did especially well with centers and point guards, everything else mostly sucks. In real life it would be kind of a fun team because everybody can shoot a little other than McGee and there would be very little defense to go around. When this all wraps up, I'm going to have to look for a rebound monster as my front court is filled with mediocre rebounders (my best rebounder, Gasol, is tied for 66th in the NBA for rebound rate).

Minutes get really messy without Butler and Cousins to anchor the back and front court.

PG - Lou Williams (31), Galloway (12), Brewer (5)
SG - Butler (25), Bogdanovich (23)
SF - Richardson (33), Bender (10), Bogdanovich (5)
PF - Dirk (24), Dekker (10), Bender (10), Mahinmi (4)
C - Cousins (22), BOBAN (5?), Mahinmi (10), Noel (?)

But seriously, I don't think I could have put together a worse team around Antetokounpo if I tried, or were the actual Milwaukee Bucks. Fultz, are you kidding me?!?!

is there a way to see players' positional efficiency for this year or not until the whole season is done?
Not until the season is done... and WIS decides to load the players / season into the sim.

But, if guys get 1st/2nd team all defense or defensive player of the year, I think you know their score (90 or 80 or something)

sorry, meant positional effectiveness, i.e. which positions they have full strength vs. only partially effective.

Season's over. Final minutes/82 situation:

PG: Kyle Lowry 31, Delon Wright 17, Mario Chalmers 17, Gary Payton II 3
SG: James Harden 31, Tyreke Evans 20, Troy Daniels 20
SF: Tobias Harris 33, Marvin Williams 24 (will also play PF), Josh Huestis 12
PF: Pau Gasol 22, David West 12, Joffrey Lauvergne 7, Henry Ellenson 4
C: Dwight Powell 20, Mason Plumlee 18, Aron Baynes 18

If anyone's desperate for minutes, I could package Baynes with Chalmers and/or Daniels for a backup center upgrade who can give me 10 min/82. None of those 3 are good, but they're usable.

If you're REALLY desperate for minutes, Josh Huestis available for free. He's horrible though. I'd give away Ellenson and Payton too but they don't have enough minutes to really help someone.

has anybody ever tracked Fantrax finishes vs SIM finishes?  can a crap fantrax team make the SIM playoffs?

The best laid plans...both players I landed in the auction got hurt. Noel, BOBAN, and Lin (3 of first 5 picks in the draft) combined for 833 minutes. Going to need Dirk, Lou Williams, and Josh Richardson to carry me. Lots of Dragan Bender - could be the worst defensive team in the league whenever Butler is off the court.

C - Cousins 21, Mahinmi 14, Dirk 9, BOBAN 4
PF - Dirk 15, Bender 25, Dekker 8
SF - Richardson 33, Brewer 13, Dekker 2
SG - Butler 21, Bogdan 27
PG - Lou Williams 32, Butler 6, Galloway 10

PG - Goran Dragic 29, D'Angelo Russell 15, Tim Frazier 10, Michael Carter Williams 10

SG - Donovan Mitchell 32, Devin Harris 16

SF - Brandon Ingram 24, Doug McDermott 21

PF - Justise Winslow 20, Thon Maker 15, Rudy Gay 15

C - Dewayne Dedmon 19, Jarrett Allen 18, Hassan Whiteside 16

Ugh.  Whiteside killed me.  Spent big money for him.

This is the best lineup can field (min/82g)....

PG Justin Holiday (27), Ian Clark (17) = 44/48 min

SG Wade (18), Thabo (10), McCaw (11) = 39/48

SF Fournier (22), Lamb (24) = 46/48

PF Tolliver (21), Bell (10), Khem Birch (7) = 38/48

C Gobert (22), Capela (25) = 47/48

That's what happens when your projected starters Conley and Seth Curry play 373 minutes combined.

Send me offers. I need minutes, but I'm also not gonna help someone create a superteam. I'd rather flame out with what I got then hand someone the title as these quality for minutes trades tend to do.

PG: Jeff Teague 28, Will Barton 8, Jameer Nelson 12

SG: Will Barton 24, Malcolm Brogdon 17, Reggie Bullock 21

SF: Michael Beasley 21, TJ Warren 27

PF: Enes Kanter 22, Ed Davis 17, (Omri Casspi or 9 Ivan Rabb! 6)

C :  KAT 35, Skal Labissiere 15

Have some positional flexibility and can package a couple guys with more MIN for a talent upgrade in return.

Would like to deal Nelson if you need PG min. Brogdon, Bullock or even Warren could also be had as could Skal (or Ed Davis and one of those guys for a significant upgrade offensively from Davis at Forward).

Basically, the whole team is on the block. shocker I know.

PG:  Eric Bledsoe(28.3), Darren Collison(24.6), Elfrid Payton(22.0)

SG:  Kyle Korver(19.2)

SF:  Khris Middleton(36.4), Harrison Barnes(32.1)

PF:  Derrick Favors(26.3), Domantas Sabonis(22.1), Jerami Grant(20.1)

C:  Andre Drummond(32.0), Zaza Pachulia(11.9)

Should have lots of position flexibility to fill in at SG.  Willing to trade Harrison Barnes for a team that needs scoring or possibly one of the PGs for efficient/rebounding bigs, but am open to anything.  Also have Kenneth Faried(5.6), Tyler Ennis(8.3), Noah Vonleh(10.7), and Wesley Johnson(18.1) available to help facilitate a trade.

Send me an offer!

Oof. I only have 2 extra minutes to spare!

PG

Ish Smith 25, Raymond Felton 17, Evan Turner 6

SG
JJ Redick 26, Evan Turner 22

SF
Kent Bazemore 22, Trey Lyles 17, Marcus Morris 9

PF
Ryan Anderson 21, Patrick Patterson 16, Marcus Morris 9, Miles Plumlee 2

C
Nikola Jokic 30, Cristiano Felicio 12, Miles Plumlee 6

I would've really liked my team if only Gordon Hayward didn't destroy his ankle 5 minutes into the season.
Yeah, that sucked man.  He didn't have a history of injury either correct? Some guys you know are a risk, others not as much. Then... boom. :sadbanana:

Interestingly enough, every one of my drafted players logged some time in the NBA this year - 15 of which enough minutes to contribute "something" for WIS.

And that's where I discovered the Mozgov Line for myself... as he was the last player to contribute at 4.5 MPG.  Ivan Rabb even has a decent chance to be my last bench player with 6 not awful minutes per game.

It appears I don't have a backup PG, which is problematic since my starting PG is John Wall who missed half the season.

If anyone wants to trade me one I have plenty of decent backup big men, having drafted a bunch to back up Joel Embiid.

i may have awful ulis or dreadful delaney to deal.  gotta see what i need behind schroder, who checked out early.

Ton of extra minutes since Modogg and I pretty much avoided all injuries this year.

PG Ben Simmons 33.3

SG Andrew Wiggins 36.3

SF Paul George 35.3

PF Jayson Tatum 29.8

C Lamarcus Aldridge 30.5

Bench Terry Rozier 25.3, Thad Young 31.8, Rajon Rondo 20.8, Brook Lopez 21.1, Luke Kennard 17.8, Justin Jackson 18.4, Vince Carter 12.5, Trey Burke 9.6, Jahlil Okafor 4.3 (probably enough minutes to get added to WIS).

After quick math we have an extra 86.8 mpg.  Probably need to improve our bigs.

If anyone needs to up their minutes we have a ton of wings to deal.

This is a good team. Simmons/Aldridge/Tatum all worked out better than you could’ve possibly hoped for. I assume Tatum is off the trade block since @modogg loves him so much.

interested.  have lots of guards.

Looking for one efficient scorer, could be SF or SG (possible PF even). Can trade good PG or rebounding minutes, or upgrade and package 10-20 additional minutes.

PGs: Malcolm Brogdon 17, Will Barton 33, Jameer Nelson 12

C/PF: Skal Labisierre 15, Ed Davis 18

SF/SG: TJ Warren could be given back if it's a significant enough upgrade (or more efficient but less raw #s Reggie Bullock)

I need to get into my WIS account to find out the positional breakdown, but it looks like I will be short of big minutes.  Plenty of minutes to trade for once though:

PG:  TJ McConnell (21), Smart (20), Sid Thornwell (14) or Livingston (14)

SG:  McCollum (36), DeRozan (33)

SF:  Ariza (28), Oubre (28), Wayne Ellington (25)

PG:  Randle (27),  Amir Johnson (14)

C:  Vucevic (21), Biyombo  (18)

Looking at a big ball starting lineup to hoard all the rebounds. Towns the third best rebounder

(rebounds per 36min)

PG: Teague (3.3)

SG: Michael Beasley (9.0)

SF: Ed Davis (14.1)

PF: Enes Kanter (15.3)

C  : KAT (12.4)

Don't they usually wait until after the All Defensive teams are figured out? Gotta get those pin point D ratings as accurate as possible :oldunsure:

So....... what’s the contingency plan if WIS doesn’t ever add the players?
I'd be fine with graciously conceding - much more preferable than subjecting Giannis to the humiliation of playing on my squad each individual game of the season.

I'm getting not member of league/league not found when I try to hit the fantrax link. Anyone got a working link?
I think they purged it, I'm not seeing it in my league list anymore  :sadbanana:
