It's because, like it or not, Josh Allen is that much closer  to starting and Allen is oing to generate more conversation than just about any other player in the league right now. He is extremely polarizing and the sports media world is salivating at the thought of him being the Week 1 starter because they know that Allen will generate debate and headlines all season long. They'll be able to replay some terrible plays a million times to call him a bust and replay some truly stunning plays a bunch to hype up his tools and promise.

Nevermind that the much more important and devastating story from that game is Kyle Williams suffering a knee injury and walking out in an air cast.

These preseason games today have been awful so far. Rams and Raiders not playing any starters, going with all 2nd team offense. I wish I could say the same for the Vikings and Jags but that pathetic display was from the 1st team offenses.

He did get the 1 yard TD which is his thing but 8 for 12 on the ground isn't so hot.

That's one of the best D's in the league. He wears them down for another 40 yards in the 2nd half and adds a couple more catches and maybe another score. He was a lock for at least a solid game.

Pretty big hole and some pretty bad defense, but showed great speed to make the defense pay for the poor play.

My Dolphins defense is a steaming pile of ####.

If we win 7 games......that will be a good season this year. Total rebuild ensuing here after this season.

3 targets in a half he didn't play as much snaps as he would have if it was a real game. One of them was taken away because of penalty. I'll take 75+ targets in a year all day......

Garoppolo with a nice 36 yard completion to Goodwin on a 3rd and 7, but a Texan defender went down in the play, Johnson I think, may have a shoulder injury...it looked kinda ugly (I've dislocated my shoulder numerous times and my guess is that may be what happened)

Bronco Defense is going to be dangerous this year - there are guys coming from all directions. Given up a few big plays - but Pressure from the front 7 caused some jitters in Trubisky and they pick up a safety. This could happen quite a bit this season.

Freeman looks like he is playing bigger - he has the 20lbs on Booker. When they get close it looks like they are going to lean on Freeman - so far. One of the Broncos shortcomings has been goal line carries and they are looking for the answer.
