I'm team A in this trade and I think I overpaid. However, my team is stacked at WR and I'm also the Lynch/Turbin owner. Coupled with some rather unsavory other options at RB (Vereen, Ridley, SJax), I felt this was an overpay I could afford to make.Maclin/1st, due to the bolded.16 team ppr, start 1 qb, 1 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 2 r/w/t

Pretty fair trade and I'm high on Maclin. I think Maclin is worth a late 1st so I look at it like 2 late 1st's for Michael and a early/mid 2nd. Smart move to lock up the Seabacks backfield.I'm team A in this trade and I think I overpaid. However, my team is stacked at WR and I'm also the Lynch/Turbin owner. Good move imo.14 team PPR with dev players. 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 2 FLEX.
This is 1.5/1/0.5 PPR for TE/WR/RB. That and the WR/TE thing make TEs especially valuable.
Gave:
RB Doug Martin
TE Dennis Pitta
3.02 rookie pick
Got:
TE Jimmy Graham
2.05 rookie pick
TE premium makes this a total steal. Graham side in a landslide.14 team PPR with dev players. 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 2 FLEX.

I liked the Gronk side too, I'm not as high on Blackmon as most seem to be, too risky for my tastes. Turning Thomas/Blackmon into Gronk is sweet, even though it's possible they both have monster seasons. I think I bet on Gronk to play 14 games over Blackmon to play that many.I'm taking Gronk, especially in a 10 team league.10 team ppr start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1flex (any)

Who are you talking about; Gronk or Thomas? Gronk is the only one of the two to ever pay a healthy 16 game season. So, you go with the guy who is never on the field and shorter years to boot?

That was basically my thinking. I think Graham is the 1.01 startup pick in that format and I told myself if I ever had a chance to get him, I'd have to take it. The scarcity issue in a 14 team start 2 RB league makes it tough to release a legitimate three down back in his prime like Martin though. I have some work ahead of me to repair my RB group in the next year or two.In a TE premium league, I'd rather have Graham and search the WW every week for a RB than trade him for Martin and Pitta.I wouldnt say landslide.TE premium makes this a total steal. If that is true then why is Gronk credited with 39 recpts, 592 yes 4tds for the 2013 season? If you need to speak in hyperbole your position is probably not very valid. At very least it detracts from the point you are trying to make.
This deal depends on the years/contracts. If it is just how many years you can keep them I will take the Julius side. If there is a penalty for cutting the players before their years are up I think I would take the Gronk side. The other side could be sitting with a lot of penalties or dead weight if Blackmon can fix his problem and Thomas is just a product of a record setting year by Manning.NEVER, huh? At the end of their contract they become a RFA and every owner can bid their FABB on the players. The owner has the chance to then match the high bid and resign for as long as they'd like. If they cut the player before the end of their contract they get a penalty of half the remaining length (rounded up) against their cap of 100. 40 man rosters (full IDP as well), with only 100 years to hand out, and you're looking at over 10% of your total years being sucked up by Thomas/Blackmon.This deal depends on the years/contracts. If it is just how many years you can keep them I will take the Julius side. If there is a penalty for cutting the players before their years are up I think I would take the Gronk side. That's fair. I would rather have the known commodity in Gerhart. Same amount of uncertainty for 2014 except that Gerhart can pick where he wants to live.12 team PPR. Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 FLEX.
Gave: 2.08 rookie pick
Got: RB Toby Gerhart
There's a bonus 1.13 rookie pick for the toilet bowl champ, so this ends up being the 21st overall pick in the draft.
Yep. Reasonable price for a possible instant boom/bust. I don't think he's appreciably less talented than the Hyde/Mason/Hill/Sankey cluster. To get him a round cheaper seems like a decent gamble. If he signs somewhere decent next week, he could put up top 15 ppg numbers this season. If not, oh well. 2.08 rookie pick is a crapshoot anyway. I don't think there will be anyone there that I'm going to obviously regret missing out on.That's fair. I would rather have the known commodity in Gerhart.
