12 team PPR dynasty. Which side wins looking at trade without rosters?

Team A: Cooks, WR Hunter, J. Bell, Eifert

Team B: Calvin, Reed
You could put Reed on the other side and I'm taking Calvin.
It could be LBell and I likely still take Calvin

I would take Cobb and Hunter

Like Jeffery > Cobb but not by that much
Jeffery is going to be re-signed for top 5 money as a team's #1 (or 1B, next to Marshall). That's a lot of security for his dyansty value. He could go to any team in the league and still be a dyasnty WR1. Cobb needs a top 5 situation to be anywhere near a dyansty WR1. That's a lot of risk, especially considering that GB appears to be playing hardball with him already.

I think the gap between Jeffery and Cobb--for the stated reasons, in addition to injury history--is Hunter, at least.

I wanted to make a run the next two years and traded Stafford for Peyton. Start 1 QB and my depth chart is now Peyton, Matt Ryan, Foles, and Osweiler. It's an out of character move for me to trade for an aging guy, but I do think I have a top team and he could be the difference.

It's a no-brainer with Foles and Ryan behind him, IMO.

In an attempt to escape purgatory:

12Tm - PPR - QRRWWWTF

Gave: Gronk, Fitz, P. Thomas

Got: M.Evans, T. Richardson, 1st (lock for top 3(as a result of this trade)), 1st (mid/late)

Hard to trade away a 25YO HOF talent, but my hope is that Evans/Gurley(Gordon) are both top 20 dynasty assets this time next season. Didn't have the ammo for a serious reload without moving Gronk.

Gave: Cruz

Got: Beckham, Amaro

I like both but I'm more down on Gronk than most - burned by him a little too much.

Just curious- why is that a lock top 3 pick as a result of this trade?

I love Gronk, and, honestly, would make both deals if I were in the other owners' shoes, too. I've just had a few bad breaks and made a few poor decisions and didn't want to compound them by holding on to a sinking ship.

Did you get your 1st back? Either way I like that trade a lot for you, but flip Richardson while visions of sugar plums are dancing in people's heads.

It was my pick. Pointing it out to be fair to the other owner; if he didn't make the deal, the pick would be middle of the pack. I let him know that if I couldn't work out a fair deal for Gronk AND get my pick back--I'd have gone the other way and sold out for one last shot, rebuilding the following year when I had my pick.

Rebuild I like it.

Gotcha.

Team A gave: Kendall Wright

Team B gave: Pick 1.09

Pick 1.09 was on the clock, and was immediately used to draft Cody Latimer.

I like Latimer a lot... That said, this kinda just seems like someone buying into the hype of an unproven rookie over a really solid/young WR.Edit: Can't fault anyone for going and getting the player they want.

Love the first deal.

Not a huge fan of the second but you know your league better than I do

I'm a bigger Vereen fan than I am of the Balt backfield

Not a Sims fan, nor am I a Kenbrell fan, 2 >>> 3

Could see the Kaep/Peyton side on both ends without knowing rosters. Not a Torrey fan though so I probably lean Kaep side.

Ball is worth more than Sankey by a good sum right now, could change by next year. I'm not a Montee fan either.

I'd rather have the sure fire stud here, but can see dealing Alshon for that. I also think Tre eventually wins the job.

Gio side is probably the right side for the value, but I'd gamble that Sankey could be worth just as much as Gio this time next year, and I'm a buyer of Justin Hunter as well.

That Megatron deal is awful.

Think that's solid value for Gronk/Fitz.

Think Cruz is worth more than just Jace/ODB. Should be able to fetch a bit more.

Also, see that you're in my MFL10 ConceptCoop, gl bud!

I'm relatively agnostic on the trade, (I'm not involved). In my most recent rankings update I had Latimer at 33 and Wright at 32.

The guy giving up Wright already had Dez, Alshon, Patterson, Torrey, and Kelvin Benjamin, so he didn't really need the immediate help at receiver. I also know he's been a big Latimer fan for a while; I'm reasonably certain that Latimer is currently among his top 24 dynasty receivers and Wright is not currently among his top 36. That's a little bit of speculation on my part, but I would be quite surprised if that was not the case. I completely get why he made the trade, and see no problem with it.

On the clock:

Gave - 2.06

Got - Harvin

Not a believer in Harvin, but hard to pass on the value.

(The other owner took OBJ with the pick.)

I'm the proud new Gronk owner. To me, this is a pure win-win. Every piece exchanged is more valuable to the new owner than the former one (or at least equal). Likely overpay by me based on consensus prices, but I value Gronk more than the consensus and Delanie Walker was going to be my week 1 starter.

Not one of my teams but in my 12 team PPR dynasty league today

First one depends on QB scoring, but I likely prefer Cam side. Second one was a nice win for you. Third one is even, depends on team makeup.

I like team B a little better but it's pretty close. Depends how much you like Justin Hunter and how many WR can be started. L. Bell is the best player in the deal but that could easily change by next year and Cooks could be the best player in the deal.

Its a ppr league and all tds are 6pts

We are changing the passing td to 4 pts but not until the 2015 season

My Roster Is in My SiG

Starting roster consists of:

1qb

2rbs

3 wr/te

1rb/wr/te

1kicker

1defense

I know I'm a dynasty team but I feel likei put myself in a position to take down the league and added dynast assets in a qb1 an rb1 and a borderline wr1/wr2 type players. But I guess it's all arbitrary to each individuals opinion. I hope a few others look at the three trades.

I think A could have gotten better haul for Bell.

I like the players he got enough but it is short something or over-valuing AWilliams

Ooooooooooooooooof. :X
You'll really be sick when I tell you the trades that led up to that:

Shortly after the SB

Give: Calvin, Decker, Moreno, 3.09

Get: Julio, Patterson, 1.01

2 weeks ago:

Give: 1.01, 5.09, Ladarius Green

Get: 1.05 and 2.06

I drafted Evans at 1.05 and traded 2.06 for Harvin.

So, the sum of the trades is:

Give: Calvin, Decker, Ladarius Green, Moreno, 3.09 (ASJ), 5.09 (Seastrunk)

Get: Julio, Patterson, Harvin, Evans

1.9 > Wright > Latimer
Out of curiosity, who are your nine rookies who are more valuable than both Wright and Latimer?
I took Benjamin 3 times this summer and they were all 1.9 or later. There's 7 that are clearly better for me - Watkins, Evans, Cooks, Matthews, Benjamin, Sankey, Hyde. There are about 6 more that are similar quality that I'd still prefer - Hill, Lee, Adams, Ebron, Andre Williams. Williams is tough in this format but I still expect him to be more valuable at some point. You've got a couple more RBs that are worth the stab if you have the WR to spare - Freeman, West. I don't dislike Latimer but I view Adams and Lee as similar quality with better opportunity. I don't dislike KW I just focus on upside at WR perhaps sometimes to a fault.
