Thoughts on this... 14 team no ppr

Gave: Stafford TRICH Vereen

Got: Foles L Bell Hillman
Foles/Bell in non ppr for me
I hated losing Stafford, but don't think the production drop is that big. I also have Cutler who had the same bye as Stafford anyway. Getting LBell solidifies lineup now: Foles, McCoy, LBell, DMartin, Cruz, JThomas with RMathews and DJackson as my two subs for byes.

I took advantage of the recent Mallett trade to Houston. I picked him up in a start up dynasty with salary cap in hopes he'd get traded and get a chance to start...and now that has happened. With that said...

I gave: Ryan Mallett, Scott Crichton, Byron Maxwell

He gave: Latavius Murray, David Hawthorne, Jermichael Finley

12 team league, half PPR.

Team A Gave: Riley Cooper, 2015 2nd (top 15~ pick)

Team B Gave: Deandre Hopkins

and

Team A Gave: Lamar Miller

Team B Gave: 2016 2nd

16 team .5ppr start 1/2/3/1 and a flex

Gave

Trent richardson

A kicker (guy only has prater)

Got

West

Marqise Lee

John Brown

2015 2nd

I know I got nothing proven but I needed some depth and I'm not confident that TRichs value is going to even remain static after a few weeks.

The 2nd is conditional. If brown finishes as a WR3 or better I give it back.

Yeah I take the West/Lee side of things. Trent has value simply because there's no one else, but I'd take the marginal upside the rest of who you got over him any day.

West and Lee pretty handily for me

That's not enough to get just Allen from me.

In Team B's defense he loves Wheaton, but that is far below market for a guy who had a rare rookie season

Way too cheap for Allen. That pick needs to be a 1st to make it closer.

That's horrendous. Allen and Eifert are the two most valuable pieces by far.
Yeah, I'm not even sure I'd send Eifert for that.

That was what I was thinking too

I know I wouldn't.

Dwayne Allen, Joique Bell, Jeff Janis

It's one of those deals that know matter how hard I try I just can't figure out the thought process of the guy who accepted that offer. Even if he was scared that Allen would see a drop in his stats, his market value is so much better than getting a bunch of spare parts. Wheaton has some upside, but his value is nowhere near Allen's - and like you implied Eifert was included for free.

Maybe, maybe not (I've seen him go as high as 5th), but we're talking about a league that's already drafted. And if I were trading with someone else who owned Cody Latimer, and I was attempting to place a value on Cody Latimer for that trade, I would place a value roughly equivalent to the 1.06/1.07 pick.
Regardless of how you value latimer that's not representative of his market value, which is pretty firmly in the late 1st to 2nd round range
And the market is free to value him there, but I thought we were supposed to be giving our own personal thoughts on trades, not the market's thoughts on trades. If all anyone ever wanted was what the market thought of their trades, they could just go look up startup ADP value, and I'd stop coming down on the Harvin/Gronk side of every fair-market Harvin/Gronk trade posted in here.

Any time someone gets Cody Latimer for 1.06/1.07 prices, I think they did a pretty good job, because I believe that's what his value is. Any time they get Cody Latimer for late 1st / early 2nd prices, I think they got a steal. The market can feel free to disagree- and, in fact, as a potential buyer of Cody Latimer, I sincerely hope it continues to do so.
I guess I should be happy, then, getting Latimer at 2.06 in a Zealots league. Yes, it's non-PPR, but I still like the value.

12 teams 25, man rosters. PPR, All tds = 6 pts.

Line up: q, r,r, w, w, t, f, d/st, k

Team A gives Aaron Rogers

Team B gives RGIII, Brian Hoyer, Jonathan Stewart, Jordan Reed
Rodgers and it ain't close
While I agree that Rodgers is better, I can understand why someone would want RG3 and Reed.

It's likely a mistake, but a reasonable one.
All TD's 6 pts makes Rodgers a nice get for that price but I understand wanting more players in a rebuild or to stock up

Gave: Bennie Cunningham, CJ Anderson, 2015 4th, 2016 2nd.

Got: Mark Ingram.

Dude owns Ball/Stacy been trying to move the handcuffs to him.

A bunch of mediocre players for one stud that has 6-8 years left is not a good way to rebuild.

Some think RG3 and Reed are on their way to studliness

Teddy Bridgewater

Dwayne Allen, Joique Bell, Jeff Janis
I take that to mean TE premium (1.5)? Allen side pretty comfortably.
Two years from now its possible Teddy wont be worth that for Janis alone in ppr.
Sure. And two years from now it's possible that Teddy Bridgewater will be the #1 overall pick in dynasty startups. Anything is possible. Guys who profile similarly to Jeff Janis are far, far, far more common than guys who profile similarly to Teddy Bridgewater, though. See also: Charles Johnson.

I can't really tell which side I'd rather come down on without knowing league size and contracts involved (I'd take the Joique Bell side without any more information), but I do know that regardless of league setup, Janis is by far the least valuable piece in that trade. Either Teddy or Bell would be the most valuable, depending on league particulars, and then Allen not far behind, and then Janis comes in a distant fourth.
