Curious why roster changes can still be made after the 11:59 PM EST Wednesday September 7th deadline? I just tested it at 12:08 AM by successfully changing a defense and then changing it back.

With my final, final changes I realized I have 5 Cleveland Browns players, didn't think that would ever happen but I'm rolling with it. GO BROWNS!!!

They say 11:59pm but it actually stays open until Drinen locks it when he wakes up Thursday morning. Happens every year.
 
Roster selection can be changed until the deadline passes (11:59pm (ET) Wednesday, September 7th) at which point it will be frozen.

Maybe it's just me... I didn't think there was as many value picks this year as there was last year... Made the top 100 with 27 players last year... This year I slimmed the roster down to 24... Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I guess we will see. :bag:

Ended up semi-blowing my team up again this year on deadline night... swapped out Ray Rice and the ripple effect ended up changing 9 slots.But in the end, I got several more players on the roster that I really wanted, and it was like a kid in a candy store having Rice's $35 to redistribute. :banned:

Looks like $2 Evan Moore will there as well.And with the big lack of "bargain" RBs, I'm curious to see what the percentages are on the $2 and $3 backs is this year(AKA the lottery ticket players). I have a feeling there will be several with a decently large ownership.

I was very tempted by the Stafford/Freeman combo.A really ballsy move would have been pairing one of those 2 with Colt for $28 total at the QB spot... I was tempted - that's a lot of bonus bucks to spread around, but in the end I would have hated it too much if a low QB score knocked me out at some point.

Wanted to have Rivers here...just couldnt make the numbers work....IMO cant justify carrying 3 QB's....Need to go for quality here and pay a premium for it. Would have also like to go Ryan and Freeman, but alas...they share the same bye week. I think that would have been a really solid tandem to have.

Of the several dozen iterations previous, all had Felix Jones as part of the equation....really sux that so many quality medium value RB's shared a week 5 bye. I would have been up a creek come week 5 with Jones, Bush, and Hightower.....swapped out Jones for McFadden and deleted Delone Carter to make this work. I really think Hunter has a good chance to start 2-3 games minimum this year. Time will tell.

I knew going in , I wanted at least 8 WR's. Really wanted to find a way to get VJAX on the roster, again just couldnt make it work. Another would have been Britt who is taylor made for this type format. Ive finally drank enough of the koolaid y'all been serving on JJ to get on board. The decision was made easier once Manning problems became more amplified (removed Collie). For $$ 24, seems like a really good value play to grab Burleson, Amendola, Bennett. Man crush on Manningham this year....have tried to acquire in every single league im in..( got him in 4 of 7 leagues )..Will see how this plays out..(fingers crossed)

The TE spot was actually quite easy to lock onto IMO. Wanted 3 as I think the TE plays a HUGE flex role participant, especially at 1.5 per recpt. OK Waldman, uve got me sold on Hernandez. Love what Kendricks brings to the table. Daniels rock solid at that price (could have easily gone Jared Cook as well.) To me, with so many bargains in the TE area, it neutralized looking at the higher priced options of the Big 5, especially in bestball format.
