Skysports reporting that Coentrao has been ruled out for the remainder of the world cup.
I know that makes things "easier" for the US... but damn, I hate hearing about injuries pre and during the world cup. These guys spend their entire lives trying to get here- so sad to see them have to miss out once they are.
How important is the World Cup to the players compared to their club play? If a guy played in the EPL and he could have either an EPL championship or a WC championship in his lifetime, which would he take?
I think most would choose the WC.
Apparently not Vela.

I agree WC all the way.

And to tie this to the game, Vela might be the only exception :)

Whatever happens, Mexico has looked great in their 2 games so far.

#### em, but good for them for finally remembering they're a good side.

Tottenham players having a shocking day
Klinsi had a great day yesterday
Those tactical subs were brilliant!

Oh, he had to sub of guys from injuries created by him running them into the ground leading up to the WC? Good work, Klini.
The Zusi sub was very good. He could've done a lot worse, quite frankly.
Bedoya was hurt, who else was he going to bring on? Maybe Mix...but he's behind Zusi still
