Obviously Maxwell shadows Julio, so I'm hoping Roddy gets a lot of targets. Seems like Freeman will be a close call to suit up too so they may be hurting at RB too. Should be a high scoring affair, Bradford may get unleashed a little bit. Don't think their offense especially without Freeman can keep up with ours.

Plus the fact that they squeaked all of those wins out by three points. If they blew anyone out like they did the Colts in last year's AFC Championship game, it wouldn't really matter. But being a Rams, Eagles, or Panthers fan and knowing to what extremes New England went to gain an unfair advantage, really is infuriating.

Devonta Freeman is not their starting rb. Tevin Coleman is the starting back and he's a rook. Freeman is questionable for the game

Coleman is atop their depth chart because Freeman is injured and is still expected to likely lead them in touches once he is back, but that is up for debate. Regardless, not sure what the issue of mentioning that arguably their top RB may be out for our game with them... didn't know that was a horrible, irrelevant thing to think about mentioning.

They'll try, for a few reasons. Kyle Shanahan is now the OC and he likes to run, and their OL is weak and I expect to have protection problems and they won't want to get Ryan killed. They also need the threat of it for the PA game, which Shanny Jr loves. I think they'll struggle on the ground but stay with it because if they don't Davis will have the front 7 and slot CB/S going after Ryan aggressively, and with a line that's inexperienced, and not super talented, and hasn't played much together that would be a disaster.

I think we'll see running, 3 step passing, QB move plays and play action from the Falcons on Monday. I'd guess screens as well, but can't remember if he uses that a lot. All the tactics that take the pressure off the OL.

Eagles fans are one of the most pessimistic fan bases out there. I guess we're just used to being let down. I tend to try to believe that a Kelly knows more than me. And has an exact vision of the offense that he wants. After teams had a year's worth of film on Foles, he came crashing down to earth last year. He was just alright, but certainly not special. I think Kelly is shooting fore something special. McCoy was horrible last year too. In this offense, Murray is an upgrade. At the very worst, a push. And there's no reason the defense shouldn't be better with the additions of Maxwell, Thuman, and Alonso.

Look, Chip Kelly made the point that the only way to trade for a potential franchise QB, is to take one with an injury history. The Saints did it with Drew Brees, the Broncos did it with Peyton Manning. Both teams got to the Super Bowl as a result with the Saints winning in their trip. I think the optimists on this board all know that Bradford can go down at any moment, and we won't be surprised if it happens. But if it doesn't happen, we are pretty excited about what this offense looks like with Bradford running it. Can you not tell me the Packer game didn't get you excited about what Bradford can do on this team? I like Kelly, very versatile but nothing special. Can get the job done at tackle or guard if someone goes down. great depth signing.

Both Gardner and Kelly signings give me promise that Ed and Chip know what they're doing personnel wise.

Theoretically you're a few players/ bounced fumbles from a playoff run. Was this team that bad that you had to do a massive overhaul?

Look, Chip Kelly made the point that the only way to trade for a potential franchise QB, is to take one with an injury history. The Saints did it with Drew Brees, the Broncos did it with Peyton Manning. Both teams got to the Super Bowl as a result with the Saints winning in their trip. I think the optimists on this board all know that Bradford can go down at any moment, and we won't be surprised if it happens. But if it doesn't happen, we are pretty excited about what this offense looks like with Bradford running it. Can you not tell me the Packer game didn't get you excited about what Bradford can do on this team? Right, and what about all the research suggesting he has a 10% chance of re-tearing it (I think that was on the high end of the reports). If you had a dollar to bet on a 10% chance you're not a very good betting man.

After a few dump off to running backs there isn't much to say, but I'm highly entertain to see how it turns out.

Guess I'm just used to you dissing every Chip move and saying how awful it was to trade Foles and Mccoy.Not talking about running the table but he has looked far better then vick/sanchez in those preseasons. We haven't had a QB with this much of a cannon for an arm and this accurate (yes, I admit, it's still early) in a while. Our 3rd QB shouldn't matter anyways... we've got our starter and backup. Chip's QB choices have looked great so far.

Matt Barkley, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, and now Stephen Morris are QBs Chip persued during his time here. That looks great to you?

Tebow was cut and a body in camp... not sure how there is ANY downside at all to what we did with him. Barkley didn't turn out. Morris we know nothing about but likely won't even be active on game days so what does it matter? And yes, I am very impressed so far with Sam Bradford, and Sanchez (as a backup). Nothing awful about those decisions at all.

I don't come in here to ##### about the eagles, I've always had a positive mindset about them. Just not a positive mindset about the 'fans' who say chip should be fired, say that he's assembled a pile of ####, and then come back to post when things go bad. Now that's a much better attitude. Either way there's no doubting that almost all of us are more excited this offseason after the moves then we would be if we went in without Bradford/Mathews/Murray/Maxwell. Our odds of winning have gone up, excitement has grown, Chip has clearly overall made a positive impact on this team every year.

Barkley, where they got him, was a no brainer value pick that didn't pan out. I give Chip credit for getting something for him. Tebow was nothing more than camp body material, I have no idea about Morris.

Bradford appears to be the most accurate passer we've had in decades-I'm very excited about him. And I bet if you surveyed every team in the league, they would all trade their primary backup QB for Sanchez in a heartbeat.
