I don't fault him for letting Maclin leave rather than overpaying him, but thinking you're going to replace that element of his game with some combination of Agholor, Cooper, and Josh F. Huff is wishful thinking at best.

Oh, I agree that this is a Chip issue-I'm just saying that I think its far more about personnel than it is about Bradford.

You guys are sticking to those two dropped wheel routes and thinking everything is fine. He overthrew Austin deep by 5 yards. Had a perfect pocket and all day and threw a McNabb to Agholor 30 yards downfield. Threw behind and over receivers countless times. He was just as bad yesterday as he's been the first two weeks. Sure, he threw a couple nice passes with two big drops, but his work as a whole was pretty bad.

The Austin pass was a miss, but the Agholor low pass bounced off his hands. He has to catch that. And again, I'm not comparing Bradford to Brady, but the WR's aren't helping in the least. And yeah, those two wheel routes make that a different game. I get that drops will happen, but those were barely contested.

It was barely at his shoe laces and late while Agholor was running full speed across the middle of the field while Sam had a perfect pocket and plenty of time. Terrible miss. And Matthews drop was even a bad throw, he had to do a 180 to have a chance at it.

I actually always watch the games twice and you and I seem to hold NFL WR's to different standards. It wasn't a good ball by Bradford but still has to be caught.

Really? Billy is one of the most objective posters on this site IMO. If he's critical towards the Eagles, it's probably legit.

I bought into Bradford but you know I was one of the biggest Foles guys there was. So it took awhile. My first gut instinct when we made the trade was we got hosed in that deal. Preseason made me think there was a chance we could break even or come out ahead. These first 3 games are making me revert back to my first instinct.

I've had Bradford on my fantasy team a couple times. He was way below average and always seem to be underachieving. I thought that when we got him that Jeff Fisher fleeced Kelly in this trade. Everyone this off season sold me on the idea of Bradford probably the same way Rams fans had to try to sell themselves every season.

All I know is that with Vick, Foles, Barkley, Sanchez this offense NEVER looked as bad as it did in week 2 and week 3 the QB didn't look much better. So call me concerned. I'll take the win but I'm less than happy.

I've generally liked the moves Chip made (with the exception of Maxwell). But if he signs Bradford long-term before he grasps it and seems to be the answer, then I'm going to have a serious problem with that. Green Bay preseason Bradford, I'd gladly take. Even second half of the Atlanta game-Bradford. But his 2015 season scorecard looks like this: 2 very good quarters. 2 good quarters. 8 bad quarters. That's not a long term solution. I'm still patient and know he hasn't played in two years, but he better show he's a top 10-15 quarterback before Kelly even considers signing an extension. If he's not, they may as well have kept Foles.

This is what I've been saying. We know what Foles is. An average quarterback. One who, if playing his best, can lead us to possibly make the playoffs. Or barely miss. Someone better than Geno Smith, but not as good as the Flaccos, Daltons, and Palmers of the league.

Bradford was a blue chipper with a gun for an arm. Then he got hurt. Twice. Chip rolled the dice that there is still untapped potential there. And he may fail in his gamble. But I don't want a coach who's satisfied with almost making the playoffs. Or getting there and go home after one game. The goal is to win a championship. And you're not doing it with a Foles vs Rodgers playoff game or Foles vs Brady Super Bowl.

Yeah, it's been really bad. J.Matthews drop in the first game cost us a win. And he's had several more since. And I almost threw a bewer bottle threw the TV when Ryan Mathews dropped that sure touchdown on Sunday on the swing pass.

When you think about it, Philly has played about as bad as they can possibly play, and they're one game back of the division lead. That gives me hope.

First off, I want to extend an apology to Billy Bats. It's been brought to my attention that he's been a loyal Eagles fan for years and has many positive things to say about them. I read your comments about Bradford the past few days and jumped to the conclusion that you were a troll like ShaHBucks. Again, I apologize. Any genuine Eagles fan is ok in my book.

It's good man, I'm not trolling, too old for that nonsense. Just read your complete opposite opinion from mine and started talking about it. Bar room talk is all it is. I've traveled long and far for this team and have had my face painted in opposing stadiums (few years back). Just talking football with nothing but green love.
