Damn. Our Oline played better but the depth is getting to be a serious issue. Especially with Peters hobbling off every 10 plays.Billy Bats said:Eskin: More bad injury news for #Eagles. I'm told OG Andrew Gardner foot injury is Lis Franc. Could be out for season. @FOX29philly

Watch this highlight again and tell me it's on Nelson. Bradford HAS to complete that pass for a TD. Protection, time, stepping into the pocket and throw and he tosses a knuckleball. This isn't pee wee football. I don't fault him for letting Maclin leave rather than overpaying him, but thinking you're going to replace that element of his game with some combination of Agholor, Cooper, and Josh F. Huff is wishful thinking at best.

Kellys made some good moves and some bad moves. He made himself a target and the offense has looked the worst its been since he got here. Criticism is warranted.
He'll I was listening to Missinelli go on about how cheap we could get Kaepernick this off season after the crash and burn he does in SF and with the way Bradford has been, it was sounding like a good idea. And I hate Kaepernick. That's how bad its been.
After our 1 win no less.....let it go fellas move on. The random LB we took 3 rounds too early is looking like a stud...life is good. This thread is disintegrating :(
You went as far to say you were off the bandwagon and done with this S H I T roster that Chip put together. Nice backtracking saying it was only a few things. Look, you are clearly so determined to 'be right'.... look through the thread, you've called people out for not making the great predictions you have, said how right you were over and over, how deep of a thinker you are, and always keep trying to prove yourself right despite what happens to the team. We get it, you like to make predictions and are too stubborn to ever admit you're wrong, and would rather be right then have your team win. It's getting pathetic, can't you just leave again? Anytime someone calls you out on something you try to find a way to cover it up, say you were right all along, ignore the question, or make fun of the person challenging you. Just give it up man, its over.Look it up in the ####### 2014 thread it it'll make your night.Really, wtf are you talking about? The only things I've went on about was the risk management of moving Foles for Bradford, Maxwell not being worth it, and overpaying Murray(this weekends game with a committee attack proved me wrong?).
Has the offense looked better since he got here or not? Are we better since he got here or what? It's one thing to be critical, its another to be so stubborn and wanting to be right so bad that you go against your own team. Anyways, you clearly have been one of the best eagles posters in recent years so I hope you can have a positive outlook if we win next week.Lighten up Francis.every fan in this thread has criticized the Eagles. Exactly. I'm glad you are still on Chip's side and can discuss things in some positive light. The thread has gotten off the beat and path but Junior isn't as wrong as some would like him to be.
There's a fine line between people criticizing and seeming bitter or resentful.
I bought into Bradford but you know I was one of the biggest Foles guys there was. So it took awhile. My first gut instinct when we made the trade was we got hosed in that deal. Preseason made me think there was a chance we could break even or come out ahead. These first 3 games are making me revert back to my first instinct.Has the offense looked better since he got here or not? Are we better since he got here or what? ETA -- I've seen Billy post in the baseball forum, the hockey thread and the football threads and I have absolutely zero vibe that he's overly critical. He just calls it like he sees it.
Thurmond as well. How much of a concern was the 2nd safety spot all offseason? I haven't heard a peep about it now - for a guy playing the spot for the first time, he's doing awesome (and are the Giants kicking themselves for letting him go, instead of moving him to safety as well)The guy that's impressed me the most is Malcom Jenkins. MVP of the early season.
Both Gardner and Parkey to IR. So much for the Pope affect. It's Tobin time. I think Kelly is better suited at tackle. So anyway, sounds like Gardner is out for an extended period of time. Is it Dennis Kelly time?
You just know Kelly's already looking to "better deal" him this off season. He couldn't handle Foles limitations. Bradford's must be maddening. I can't see those contract talks resuming till season ends if at all.Re: Bradford, whats done is done. I'm just hopeful Kelly can get him over the hump and work his magic on him. Best thing for the franchise long term now is to try and see if we can tread water while he works out his issues, and hopefully turns it around.
Maybe people shouldn't take their fandom so seriously. It's just a ####### game. The thread has gotten off the beat and path but Junior isn't as wrong as some would like him to be.

Extending Bradford's contract at this point would be basically the dictionary definition of "throwing good money after bad".You just know Kelly's already looking to "better deal" him this off season. I've generally liked the moves Chip made (with the exception of Maxwell). But if he signs Bradford long-term before he grasps it and seems to be the answer, then I'm going to have a serious problem with that. Green Bay preseason Bradford, I'd gladly take. Even second half of the Atlanta game-Bradford. But his 2015 season scorecard looks like this: 2 very good quarters. 2 good quarters. 8 bad quarters. That's not a long term solution. I'm still patient and know he hasn't played in two years, but he better show he's a top 10-15 quarterback before Kelly even considers signing an extension. If he's not, they may as well have kept Foles.Extending Bradford's contract at this point would be basically the dictionary definition of "throwing good money after bad".You just know Kelly's already looking to "better deal" him this off season. Chip the GM may or may not have gotten hosed in the trade (still too early to tell), but when that happens you cut your losses. Doubling down on a losing bet is the kind of thing the Ruben Amaros of the world do.
This is what I've been saying. We know what Foles is. An average quarterback. One who, if playing his best, can lead us to possibly make the playoffs. Or barely miss. Someone better than Geno Smith, but not as good as the Flaccos, Daltons, and Palmers of the league.Yeah it's really too bad we got rid of Nick Foles, dude is setting the world on fire over in St. Louis.
Would still rather have the potential of Bradford than Foles....that said it's just about time for him to put up or shut up.

Hard to tell how much of it is him and how much is the awful line play, as we all know they go hand-in-hand. But if the line can keep improving along with the running game, Bradford should start to look much better.
Yeah, it's been really bad. J.Matthews drop in the first game cost us a win. And he's had several more since. And I almost threw a bewer bottle threw the TV when Ryan Mathews dropped that sure touchdown on Sunday on the swing pass.We are tied with the Jags and Texans for most dropped passes by a team with 10. It's good man, I'm not trolling, too old for that nonsense. Just read your complete opposite opinion from mine and started talking about it. Bar room talk is all it is. I've traveled long and far for this team and have had my face painted in opposing stadiumsFirst off, I want to extend an apology to Billy Bats. It's been brought to my attention that he's been a loyal Eagles fan for years and has many positive things to say about them.
