Josh Innes does bits from time to time. He had one yesterday to prove a point that people pay more attention and call in when the topic is negative than they do when its positive.
He spent 10 minutes talking about how great Ryan Mathews looked and how the team was moving in the right direction. That Bradford would get it turned around and the Eagles would have a good chance to win the division. They got 5 calls for the 20 some odd phone lines they have.
Then he switched only 10 minutes later and called Demarco the biggest thief in sports, Kelly should be coaching high school, Bradford is a quitter and this city deserved the team they got. And the phones were overflowing.
It was funny if not predictable.
lol That's hilarious. I wonder if it's that way in all markets, or if that's more of a Philly thing. As a city, Philly has a lot of sports frustration. Especially with football. How many of us are sick of being in any sort of debate with another team's fan and being told that we suck because we don't have a ring? I think this city would go nuts if we won a Super Bowl. Probably 10 times as much as if the Sixers, Phillies, or Flyers did.
