Well, he really came down hard on the D (and rightly so) but I have to agree with Ray that it's preposterous to think the O is t full of issues. They can't go downfield. They can only dink and dunk. Personal, scheme...whatever. It's all on Chip. And it's really depressing to think wether Chip stays or not, this team is set back a long time. No development. He was asked if he's lost control of the team and of course he says no but B West really went off and said, "No way that guys aren't questioning this with the sleep trackers, the smoothies and the practicing every day, etc."

Lane was default. Matthews has been decent but not a stud when compared to the other WRs we could have had. Ertz is completely under used or just not that good. What other good picks has he made?

When you talk about him as a talent evaluator do you just limit it to drafts? I look at the Nolan Carrolls, Sproles, Jenkins, Walter Thurmond, Barwins etc as damn good moves by him. THOSE are the moves that should stand out to intelligent fans IMHO. Parkey last season too.

Hell, even go back and look in this thread when Maxwell was doing awful and see how many times his name is mentioned. He's been playing very well over the past 4 weeks and see how often his name is mentioned. That's the Philly I hate. There's going to be good and bad, but not here. There's bad and backhanded good.

A small portion of Eagles fans are among the worst in the league. Just sickening to listen to. Miserable and negative 100% of the time.

Of course no one is mentioning Maxwell's improved play. What fun is that? Look at Bradford's stats over the last two games. 44 of 61 (72%) for 531 yards, 2 TDs and 0 interceptions. Yet the guys who have been calling for his head all season suddenly have nothing to say about him. Onto the next thing to gripe about.

Two good postings. That Sha/Insein will stubbornly scoff off and say "whatever man, I'm mad" then go hide in a corner until there's another opportunity to come out and yell about how bad things are. You seem to find some unhealthy satisfaction in 'being right'. But yes, thanks for bumping this... you'll see that Sha has posted in here only after our losses. Should be a busy week for him, but wasn't a peep after wins. I think even you can see who the real fans of this team are.

We are all upset here, not sure how "i told you so' makes it any worse. Today showed that we just aren't a great team and that is really frustrating. Clearly Sam was the least of our problems.... we have huge holes on both sides of the ball. Will still ruthlessly cheer for us to beat Detroit next week, but today was just a total disaster all the way around. This sucks.

I do agree with this. This season is very disappointing and frustrating, but Chip should have another year to put it together.

Those calling for Chip's firing are the same people who wanted Sanchez to start over Bradford. I get its frustrating, but wanting to fire everyone, bench everyone, isn't realistic. This is the NFL, and even if we go 6-10 this year, Chip has had an above average first 3 years as an NFL coach. He's going to get some time despite how much you whine and cry in a forum.

I think you're giving him too much credit saying that he 'maybe' is a fan. It's pretty clear now that he enjoys these losses much more.

As for the others, I know you cheer for the team, but I dont really see what you're bringing to the table by coming here and saying "you had optimism last week? How's that going for you?" and mocking someone for having that optimism. It's a little hypocritical, and comes across as if you're taking even a small amount of joy in this loss and making those posts. Or maybe it's just a chance to brag and boost your ego when the team gives you nothing. Either way, there's a big difference between 'posting an observation' and rubbing it in an eagles fans face that they were wrong to be hopeful... I think you know that too.

I've been on the 'optimist' side of things in here, but don't you think I am bitter too? All of our days/weeks are ruined when the team we care about plays like that. It sucks and I'm not sure what Chip should do from here on out. I was disappointed by no oline drafting too, so that needs to be a priority. But as does our run D, our WR's, etc. I don't think a qb with our first round pick is going to solve much. Not having a 2nd rounder next year, not going oline in last years draft, etc. etc. sucks, but it's over and those opportunities are over so we're beating a dead horse.

I think Insein is an actual fan, I just hate the way he goes about it. The way he vents and complains and acts like he could make better decisions then NFL GM's after every loss is what gives Eagles fans a bad reputation. He still cheers for the team though. I think.

So pathetic today, can't see how they can do a whole lot to improve by Thursday, given short week and having to travel. Losing to Detroit is a very real possibility. The Lions have won two in a row and are playing very solid pass D. If we leave DET 4-7, and then go to Foxboro, looking at 4-8 real quick. At 4-4, this team still had moments and hitting a softer part of the schedule, had to think that they would be in it until the end. And it began that way v. MIA. But honestly the last 7 Q's of football have been so outrageously bad on offense, defense and special teams alike it's impossible to think they fix this in 2015.

The wheels have come off, and I fear it is going to be a painful limp to the end of the year. Still some good pieces here, and surely we bring in some rookies and FA's to help. Just need a hard reset and refocus. Need to establish an identity, know what we can do and excel at it. Dictate to other teams in certain aspects of the game, whether that be pass rush, run game, an up tempo risk taking offense, whatever. The most damning thing re: this team and Kelly IMO is how unfocused they are. All year, penalties, mental miscues, and playing with very little fire and emotion when sitting at 4-4 or 4-5 in this division/conference is unacceptable.

No doubt the team questions everything internally right now. Kick a FG on 4th-2 to cut it from 24 to 21, and then try an onsides? Huh?

It makes no sense for Chip to be gone. I'm extremely unhappy with him but it would be completely foolish to make a change now.

But...where are we and where are we going? I can't ever remember feeling this bleak. With Andy's end coming we at at least had the dream of change. But what now?

Nobody in here wants the Eagles to lose (maybe ShahBucks, I don't know, he is an odd cat). Nothing would make me happier than to be 6-4 right now. Losing these 2 eminently winnable games ruins my ####### day.

Don't call people out about being "real fans" when they are just posting observations, regardless of whether they are negative or positive. I don't bump renesauz's posts, even though he is an eternal optimist.

I have never called you. Insein and ShaHBucks are the anti-Eagles fans. Didn't know we had a beef.

I think Insein is an actual fan, I just hate the way he goes about it. The way he vents and complains and acts like he could make better decisions then NFL GM's after every loss is what gives Eagles fans a bad reputation. He still cheers for the team though. I think.
