I thought for sure that Chip would be given another year by Lurie, but with the team clearly sitting on him, I don't think Lurie will have a choice. When you treat your players like children and make it clear that you don't care about them, and you start losing, it's a pretty quick downward spiral if the players decide they don't care for that treatment.

Agree. You can't toss this all at his feet without acknowledging the stress that is placed on the team with their style of play, the losses they have had on defense, the general way chip runs the whole show and has pretty much made his own meal with his own hand picked ingredients and now it's not as good as what they had.

Demarco Murray is a ten pound bag of sugar in a five pound bag he is so mismatched in this system. The decisions by chip up and down and across the board are head scratching.
