***Official 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread : Pens raise the cup for 4th time in franchise history*** (2 Viewers)

I feel as though I missed liking a post on that last page somehwere.

Daughter has a stupid choir concert tonight. Feels like they screwed up the seeding on it, too, though I haven't been in a choir thread all year so I should probably shut the f up about it.

Still can't believe #### is censored here.

Had to figure Blues would have a hangover after knocking Chicago out.  I think they woke up after Dallas tied that game up after being down 2 on Sunday.  Now Blues are locked in, they do everything well.

I'm no soccer expert but aren't all these NBC Sports commercials for the Premier League's Championship Sunday kind of meaningless now?
Finishing top 4 is huge for Champions League money and then there's huge pressure to avoid being bottom 3 and get relegated.

Tl;Dr;  You obviously don't know their playoff seeding.

True but most of that is already decided anyway.  I'm not watching a Sunderland game to see if they get relegated, I can read that in the papers.

It's so refreshing to not be known as the team with goalie issues in the playoffs.

Has the Stars goaltending situation been this much of a dumpster fire all year?

Agreed. They slept walked through Game 1, and even when taking a 3-1 lead in Game 2, their play was still up and down, but since OT on Sunday, they have looked mostly great.  They definitely look locked in, and they need to stay aggressive since things opening up exposes the Stars defensive deficiencies.

Well, this is nice. Aside from that weird game in Minnesota last year the Blues haven't won a playoff game by more than a goal in like 32 years. Hope they can do it tonight.
