***Official 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread : Pens raise the cup for 4th time in franchise history*** (1 Viewer)

Preds playing with 11 forwards as they scratched Ribeiro and his replacement hasn't played since the 2nd period.

Neal has 37 minutes of ice time.

Jones, 4 goals off rebounds. Not that he was bad, quite the opposite.  Only way to beat him is getting to the net.  Guy has been fantastic.

What a game.
Bridgestone was crazy loud last night. What a fun game to be at. My 3 year old is a trooper, but didn't quite make it to the end of that one. So glad we get at least one more game back in Nashville. Playoff hockey is just so much fun.

Corey Perry captain at the IIHF? Whoa. Somebody wants the World Cup.

Hey, I love watching Perry. Forget the shtick, he's so much fun to watch.

NBA will auto review whether a pass tipped out of bounds off someone's hair with three seconds left in a 40-point blowout.
The thing that drives me nuts is reviews for flagrant fouls.  If you have to review it to see if it was a flagrant foul, it wasn't a flagrant foul.

Sharks defenders lost track of Preds skaters coming off the side boards for those rebounds at least twice.  Vlassic looked confused on the first two goals.

Sharks dominated OT, but I can't really complain.  Preds could have lead 4-1 after one as that first period was a track meet with the best chances clearly going their way.  I do think Pavelski was cross-checked into Rinne on the disallowed OT goal, but I'm not surprised the refs kept the goalie interference call; Pavelski was sitting on top of a pinned Rinne.  I'm curious if the game was in San Jose how that call goes, though.

Got tickets for game 5 tomorrow night.  Was hoping for a clinching game, but oh well.  Strange season for the Sharks regarding sellouts and ticket availability.  I think Game 1 didn't sell out which is unusual for San Jose.  Last weekend I went online to look for Game 5 tickets and the cheapest prices were $95 at ticketexchange and stubhub.  I passed.  Tuesday morning I looked again and those same seats were $80 so I jumped on two.

Of course today is like the busiest day ever. Hockey playoffs cutting into my sleep, but I can't complain cuz that game was sweet.

Dickies is our resident Sharks fan.  Is he suspended or something?  He's always around this time of year to see his team lose.
Busy with work and haven't been able to make it to FBGs much of late.  Last night was a feeling I know all too well.

My wife says to me last night, "Relax, it's just one game" when a couple hours prior she was cursing like a sailor at the Giants getting owned.
