According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Vikings' "tentative plan" is to start Shaun Hill in Week 1 at Tennessee.
The Star-Tribune reports newly acquired Sam Bradford "will be armed with a simplified version of the offense in case Hill is injured." Thereafter, Vikings coaches "will huddle" to determine whether Bradford can take over in Week 2. The Star-Trib's Mark Craig reports TEs coach Pat Shurmur -- Bradford's old OC -- "convinced the organization that Bradford had the intelligence and work ethic to learn Norv Turner's offense quickly." Saturday's trade cost the Vikings a 2017 first-round pick and a 2018 conditional pick that could become as high as the second round. GM Rick Spielman had better hope Shurmur gets this one right.
