Celek had 971 yds and 8 TD's before they took Ertz, and was always a very good blocker (much better then Ertz ever was).  He wasn't ever middling.  Elite?  no.  But good.

I probly have about as much new to say as you do.

You recall the Stanley Cup in Nashville a few years ago?  That city is passionate about sports!  Much rather go there (for a sporting event) than a city like LA where the fans probably don't even know that a team exists.      

i heard something like 2500 Eagles fans at least. Sounds strange to want to go to Nashville for a road trip. Would much rather save up, and go to LA if need be in the playoffs. That game will be a hoot if the Rams get home field advantage. there will be more Eagles fans there even during the playoffs

All the people that I know who have been to Nashville say it is dope

Nashville is an awesome city and is lots of fun.  A city with good weather, cheap-ish tickets (and quite a few available), fairly easy to get to from Philly, etc.  Seems like the perfect spot to go see a game.  Did a sports trip down there a few years ago and it's a blast.

Anyways, on to Sunday.  Very excited for this game.  Should be a test against a good defense that's capable of looking extremely good.  I hope Carson opens it up a bit and takes some shots deep, but I think we'll see a lot more TE action.  Really like our chances here to win by a TD or two.  But due to my superstitions about my picks.... gonna go with 50-3 Titans.

I've already answered that, but real quick, I remember some of you guys wanting Guice. I would've been on board with that. Your RBBC is ok, but Guice would've been a nice addition to go with your already top passing game.

Considering your Super Bowl window, my other suggestions would likely have been on D, specifically the back end. I know some Philly guys are wanting to trade for Thomas if you can swing it (which makes sense). It's not like your secondary hasn't been vulnerable.

I saw quite a few Guice mentions during the draft (from Philly fans). I think it would've made sense. You're deep at RB, but there's something to be said for having a potential stud RB which you probably don't have now. I think the dynamics of a top RB to go with your passing game would be really tough to defend.

Celek & Burton are different players, though. Goedert is more like Burton, who contributed a little bit, as did Celek, but my point stands that it was far from your biggest need.
