*Official 2018 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Tough way to go out. Magic finally gone. (8 Viewers)

If you don't beat Dallas it's time to pack everything up and call it a season
Yup.  We need to get Kate Smith, Rocky, Fresh Prince, Uncle Eddie Savitz, The guy who flew the helicopter who bombed the MOVE house, a dozen Ben Franklin impersonators, Chase Utley, that Santa we threw snowballs at, Donovan McNabb and the Pope Bot at this game for good luck.

I believe unfortunately drunk Santa died about a year or 2 ago

Carter got waived today and McGill called up.  Likely  means 3 things:

1. Sproles will be back very very soon
2. Tate will possibly return kicks.
3. Timmy won't be playing this week.

Eagles Website streaming their practice live right now.  Pretty cool to watch.  Sproles is out there and looks like he'll play.  They're working with Tate a lot and Carson is helping him out on some routes.

No Boyz II Men?

So watching the Tenn/Dal game and I saw Dion Lewis and it had me wondering so I checked. Yes he signed a 4yrs deal in Tenn but if the Eagles wanted a Sproles like player instead of resigning Sproles who's literally missed half the season and old why not bring back Dion Lewis for a second run instead. I know the obvious answer was DS was cheaper but you are basically relying on an old well past him prime over 30 back. One of the few mistakes I see on Roseman's resume since coming back.

Eagles are wearing The Black on Sunday

Also Dez signed with the Saints which is kind of surprising. Would've thought GB would try and get him.

Saints unfortunately is a perfect landing spot for him.  Best shot at a title, which would come with a huge payday.

And he still gets to play Philly and Dallas.

My thoughts on Dez were he isn't washed up he just wasn't a good fit with Prescott. Prescott is too much of a play it safe QB and he won't throw up balls that are low % passes. Dez needs a QB who will throw it up and let him go get it, which is why Romo for him was great and why when Dak got there his numbers dropped. Its also why I laughed at the Hurns signing since he's the same type of player as Dez

Aaaaaaaand Sproles is hurt again. It's a shame.
yesh, I feel horrible for the guy:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Darren Sproles aggravated his hamstring injury and is now expected to miss Week 10 against the Cowboys.

Sproles practiced on Wednesday for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Week 1; he promptly hurt it again and is week to week after coach Doug Pederson expected him back this week. It's been a totally lost season for the 35-year-old after tearing his ACL last year. Sproles delayed his retirement to play this season after missing last year. It's a tough way to go out.

So brutal.  Being that this will definitely be his last year, was hoping he would get into a couple games.  Not sure how bad it is this time around.

Wonder if Tate will return kicks Sunday?

Should've never resigned him IMHO. I get wanting to do the right thing but he's wasting a roster spot. And DeAndre Carter was claimed by HOU.
The guy is a talent when healthy. All indications we're that he was healed. Setbacks happen though.

I thought he was done the year before last. I could tell he lost 1-2 steps in his speed. Guys he use to get away from with ease he struggled to even get away from. Yes when healthy he was talented but I think the guy is honestly done and damaged goods. He's at the wrong age of 30. Sproles is a great guy but I'm starting to think he might be one of those guys where it's hard to admit your career is over and try to tough it out when you shouldn't.

Fbg down on josh Adams. Homer insight into the rob situation please
sure as hell shouldn't be Smallwood, and i don't know if Clement is healthy yet

it is amazing how bad Smallwood has been. the eye test is fine, but his numbers are rough. faced the least amount of 8 man fronts out of all RBs in the league, gives up at least one sack a week blowing a pass blocking assignment, etc.

my guess is Adams will start. If he does reasonably well he will play most of the game. but i also think he may possibly have a short leash if he has one or 2 big goof-ups. personally i put him highest for RBs this week for the Eagles

Being forced to own all 3 of Clements, Smallwood, and now Adams, by being in a 16 team league, I'm trying to figure out who to put in this week. Have Smallwood in right now. But I feel in my gut that it's the wrong choice this week.

I'm not really liking the cavalier attitude people are having towards the Cowboys like they're already dead. Eagles better win this game tomorrow. Too many people just writing it in as a W and piling on how Cowboys haven't won anything in 22 years. Just feels like tempting karma a bit.  Hopefully the players are locked in and not listening to the media or fans.

I see an Eagles win but it will be something like 24-20. Typical NFC East grind it out win.

Yeah it will be close but no reason to think we won't win.  If we can't beat the cowboys at home our season is pretty much over in my eyes. They are a below average team.  And good teams squash those kind at home

Ya I don't think this is a blowout in any sense.  That team is also playing for their lives, and jobs.  It's a statement game for them too, they'll be ready to go.

Their D likely plays better than it did last week.  I can see their O doing just about the same though.  24-17

It'll be close.  Yea, they lost to Tennessee.  So did we.  Yea, we just beat jax.  So did they.  Yea, they're 3-5.We're "one" game better at 4-4.

Looks like the Bucs aren't doing us any favors today. Defense playing good for TB and they're moving the ball but 2 missed easy FGs. Skins will Outlast them.

Absolutely brutal.  5 red zone chances and it's been 2 turnovers and 2 missed fgs.  Tampa should be winning this game.
