DAY GAMES!!!!!11I like the OVER 9.5 +100 in the Pitt/Fla matchup, but need my esteemed colleague to weigh in here. Also think Texas is a play at long odds, but know I won't get a green light on this one.
Let's play Texas, +183 is playable.Fine with the total on the Pitt game.
You know what?Tayhas IS playable, by gum. LET'S HIT THIS. <---Bobby Knight game face.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!!

Now if Toronto and Oakland can hang on and if Texas can pull off the upset, I'll be ready to retire from gambling forever.

Off to Mexico tomorrow early am, may play some on my way out of town..........

If not, see ya'll on the 5th

Couple plays for tonight:

Astros/Rockies o8.5

RL Parlay:

NYY (The Wanger) @ Baltimore/

AZ (The Unit) vs LAD

Just seemed appropriate to lay the wood here

g'luck

Hopped on that under on the LA/SD game for a unit at 7 1/2 for the action. Line went to 8 five minutes later...hope Kuo doesn't blow. Looked at the game a little closer and think the Padres actually look good in this one...especially at only -115. They have had the Doyers number for some time now. Put 2 units on them...may add.

Off to the track for Friday night racing...and a Berlin concert.

Been off for a few days and have a losing week...so I'm going to open it up a bit today and cross my fingers:

On:

St Louis (Maroth) -105 @ Cincy (bailey)

LAA (Lackey) -128 @ Baltimore (Guthrie)

Straight & parlayed....no RL parlay though, don't trust the Cards offense enough.

Totals:

Colorado (Rodriguez) @ Houston (Rodriguez) o9.5 (even)

As far as I'm concerned, every over bet on the Stros is a good bet. The Astros bullpen is simply disgustingly awful. Oh, and now the Rocks have yanked Fuentes out of the closers role. Please tell me they are running Jorge Julio out there, PLEASE. Minute Maid is a hitters park, neither of these pitchers overwhelms me, and considering I am expecting both to be out before the start of the 7th inning, that gives me 5+ strong half innings of Astros/Rockies relievers, either of which is capable of letting up 9 runs in that time. OVER, big bet.

D'Back (Owings) @ SF (Lincecum) o8.5 -105

Lincecum's last three starts, 7.98 era, 1.91 WHIP. I really like this guy, but he's struggling.

Owings is a guy that to me does it with smoke and mirrors too. He has a WHIP around 1.4, but an ERA under 4.

I know these two teams struggle a bit with their offenses, but I can easily see one of these two starters blowing up and letting up 5-6 runs in the first 5 innings, and I don't see either starter throwing a shut out. I have to lean over here.

Toronto (Marcum) @ Seattle (Weaver) o9.5 (even)

Seattle had a run a bit back where they were an over machine. They don't have an overwhelming lineup, but they just get the job done. Last time Weaver pitched, I threw up a whole bunch of stats about what a gas can he is. That still holds true, and fact be known, just too lazy to look it up right now. I know against the Red Sox he only pitched into the sixth and the Sox had lots of baserunners every inning, they just couldn't capitalize. The only rub here is the Mariners bullpen is nails right now, probably the best in the majors. Hopefully both teams put up 5 runs in the first 5 and I can not worry.

Last one for today:

Mets (Pelfrey) +104 @ Philly (Kendrick)

Strong lean Mets getting positive vig against a rookie pitcher. Mets are the better team, I like my chances.

g'luck

Big card for today

Atl +118

NYM +108

Az +116

Col/Hou O9.5 +100

Mil/Chc O8.5 +100

Az/SF O8.5 +100

parlay- Atl/Fla O9.5 +100, NYM/Philly O11 -105, Det -166

Whole lot of action today for me, and ended up up just shy of 3 units. Not too shabby.

Tonight, just a small, 1/2 unit play on Detroit (Bonderman) -1.5 +110

This offense is good enough, imo to justify laying the rl and adding 80 cents to the vig. Bonderman is also a strong pitcher.

g'luck

Like the Mets tonight -110, quite a bit. Mets pretty hot team of late, 8-2 last 10, meanwhile Colorado is the polar opposite at 1-9 last 10. Hirsh has not been very good lately, he's given up 5 ER in each of last 3 starts and to make matters worse Colorado bullpen is a bit of a mess right now with Fuentes getting shuffled. See no reason why the Mets don't take this one.

Hey Pros, you like Webb tonight?
I do like Webb. I am more worried about the Dbacks scoring runs. Our BP is also in bad shape. If Webb can pitch 8 innings I like the Dbacks. I will probably hit them tonight.

Todays card:

Balt +120

Pitt +138

NYM +117

RL parlay Bos -1.5 -105, Oak -1.5 +125

parlay Mil/Pitt O9.5 -115, Cleve/Det O10 -120

3/3 but came out ahead. I was happy that Philly/Hou game pushed. I fell into the trap of watching those stupid green/yellow/blue balls on MLB gameday :loco:

Pitt -111

Az +120

I bet you were fired up about Cust hitting a solo shot in the 8th [Red Scoring Box]. I know I was.

Anybody got anything for tonight? I hit the Boston/TB over earlier and have a RL parlay PENDING with SF.....hopefully the game is called, I'd be a happy mofo

I'm on Milwaukee (Vargas) +107 @ Pitt

Also on Oakland (Kennedy) vs Toronto -126

Need some night plays. :goodposting:

g'luck

Alright, I guess no one has anything tonight. I'm going away, will not be back till Sunday night, so here are my last plays of the week (probably):

o10 (-110) NYM (Hernandez) @ Colorado (Fogg)

u9 1/2 (-110) Cleveland (Westbrook) @ Detroit(Rogers)

o9 (-120) Arizona (Hernandez) @ St Louis (Thompson)

RL bets:

SD (Young) vs Florida (Johnson) -110

I think Youngs ERA at home this year is hovering right at 1.00. Johnson is still coming back off injuries.....I'll take my chances dropping the vig from -230 to -110 seems good.

Seattle (Washburn) @ KC (Bannister) +145

I just think KC is a different team when Meche isn't on the mound. I think Washburn should be able to keep the young KC batters in check, and see Seattle laying a good one on here.

g'luck

For those stuck at work................... I shouldn't complain fresh off of a 6 day vacation.........

I bring you

DAY TIME BASES!

I lean with the chalk  Milwaukee and SD. THinking about just parlaying them or just taking MIL by themselves. The chalk on SD is really high!

GLTA

There are three chases to end the first half:

ATL, LAA, FLA and Tex

I like KC to keep TB losing today given that Shields has cooled off considerably since his hot start. I may have a couple more before 5 pmEST

GLTA

Edited; I am passing on the card, nothing I like alot. Including passing on the chases.
