More ugliness from the supposed beauty. She is an ugly woman inside.

JS in that competition was hilarious. But he sure did try.
Are you talking about her good bye messages?  I agree the one to Rachel was a bit much.  Rock Star?  She deserved every bit of it.

Thank god.  Right when I saw that challenge I knew rockstar would have zero chance.

And not surprising fessy blows a comp that was basically made for him.  His hand was like a foot away and he couldn’t make it.

I was surprised the audience didn't groan when Scotty said he was going to try to partner up with Tyler just before dashing back into the house.

JC now has a target on his back via Scotty.

I actually have some hope that Brett and JC might try to mount an insurrection against Angela and Kaycee.  Although JC might get distracted by having Scotty after him now.

Fessy and Haleigh both had good eviction speeches tonight... Fessy zinged Angela a bit.

it sounded like Fessy told Scotty about JC, it's too bad he didn't give Scotty a heads-up about Angela and Tyler.

The jury house looks like a fun FOUTTE party!

I genuinely enjoy that you're a Rockstar fan

I really feel for her that she'll regret that OTEV gaff the rest of her life - I hope she learns to laugh about it, and remember that she was kicking butt in that competition.

Big women typically have big mammaries.   . Bottom 10% of all time BB houseguests for me.  Perhaps her attitude has something to do with it though and trying to act gangster.  Calling herself Rockstar was a huge red flag.

Totally just being an armchair psychologist about Rockstar...

Her nickname, her hair, being a Wiccan, her lack of classic beauty, being a little rough around the edges, her emotional comments about Brett and the popular kids...

I think she's subconsciously felt like she had to do things to get attention and developed her "big" personality and appearance as a way to compensate for that.

She talks about her kids a lot... she played the competitions hard... she was loyal to her alliance...

Maybe I'm forgetting some things, but I don't remember her being mean - just emotional.

I have nothing against her and see a lot of good traits... I think she's getting a bum rap.

I assumed they told the audience no reactions to questions Julie asks about the game, had to have been some facepalming going on regardless.  Scottie should have been able to read Julie there anyways with her reaction.  He has zero chance if he doesn’t win hoh.

This has the feeling of level 6 staying together to the final 4 and battling it out.

To be fair they made her use the nickname Rockstar due to they let Angela use that name. That is one of the reasons Rockstar hated Angela,  over the name thing.

Agreed, I'm sure the audience is told to not react... but sometimes a groan just slips out when someone says something disappointing or dumb - I'm actually surprised Julie talked to him in front of the audience, imagine if someone had reacted or yelled to him.

I think there's a real chance Brett breaks away and makes a preemptive move against L6 - he's figuring out he's number 4 on the totem pole and I'm pretty sure he's not content to just make the final 4.

Also, I think L6 will target Brett before the final 4 since he's a competition threat - they'd rather have JC and/or Sam as the 5th/4th remaining.

Good to know... so right there that negates the reason for disliking her for using her nickname.

Yep. JC is a national treasure.
i don't think this is a spoiler, but apparently not everyone loves JC. Something along the idea that he almost got kicked off the show. Messed with Haley when she was in the bathroom and was all up kissing on Tyler when he was sleeping (in the armpit i think the article said). Big JC fan too, but the guy may be getting antsy, and when the walls of Level 6 start to creep in he may crack. Will be interesting if he gets his back against the wall how he responds. I don't see him just giving up and going quietly

Not sure it negates it for me but fair enough.  I think a lot of the hatred for "Angie" for me is that she started talking crap about Angela calling her a princess and spoiled #####.  She cried that Angela is wealthy outside the house and doesn't deserve to win anything.  Only a tiny bit of this was shown on the show and she got a very generous edit.

I'm not sure if that's intended as a question or a declarative statement.
Well that's the kind of dude I don't think I could handle for 6 days let alone 60+.

Now that I read your original post again, I'm not exactly sure of your angle.  Tyler is one of the more liked contestants this season, no?  I guess it just takes one Scotty fan in the audience as someone mentioned.  CBS probably has snipers up in the rafters of that studio.

I didn't mean it as a dig at Tyler, I meant the audience was probably disappointed that Scottie was going to walk right back into the same trap and nothing was going to change by him going back into the house with a 2nd chance.

Scottie is kind of hyper, but he seems like a good guy - I think I'd get along with him.

Tyler is pretty universally liked and he's played an exceptional game - I like him as well.  He's every bit as good as Paul was at building relationships, but he's much more genuine than Paul and I have a feeling the jury won't be nearly as bitter against him as they were about Paul.

I think Brett making a preemptive move against L6 is Tyler's greatest risk right now, followed by maybe Angela and Kaycee sticking together and realizing they both might well lose against Tyler.

Just looking at who's on the jury so far I am seeing a very bitter jury, rockstar and bailey think they are so special they will be really bad.   I am assuming all of that crappy alliance will.  I do agree tyler will be better off than paul but I'm not sure by how much.

I haven't been following much spoiler info this week at all, I am assuming scottie is headed right back into the jury house.

Is it just me, or is Sam so bad at this that she is setting herself up to be the perfect "no one would ever vote for her" #2 at the end?

It's interesting to consider what Angela, Kaycee, and Tyler are all planning for their end games.

A bitter jury is high on the possibility, if not probability scale.

Normally any of the big 3 would probably rather sit against Sam or JC or Brett than one of the other Big 3.

But a bitter jury makes that a dangerous crapshoot... they might well vote for Sam (or JC or maybe even Brett) over one of the Big 3.

Sam in particular would only get votes from the most bitter of jurists, but it could well happen.

So it might be safer if they sit against one of the other Big 3 to force the jury to have to choose between them.

I don't think either of the women would want to sit against Tyler.

I don't think Tyler or Angela would want to sit against Kaycee.

I don't think Angela would want to sit against Kaycee.

This leaves us with:

Kaycee would prefer Angela, and probably vice-versa - Angela doesn't have a great choice, I think she'll lose to either Tyler or Kaycee.

Tyler would prefer Angela.

Scottie: Julie are we hanging out tonight? Make the smart move or suck it, except Tyler who's already getting a steady diet of that... :lmao:

Brett appears to be being pretty dumb - what's his endgame here?

I'm not sure he realizes/believes his position in the L6 pecking order is 4 at best.

If he's not going to try to flip the game (and it's pretty late for that now), he's either thinking:

  • His buddy Tyler has a final 2 deal with him
  • The other L6'ers will keep him around because they would prefer to sit next to him in the final.
  • He's going to go on a competition run to make it to the final 2.
  • He's too risk adverse to do anything and just wants to hang around as long as possible and hope things break well for him.

Maybe all of those. L6 has been consistently loyal (besides dumping crazy Rachel) to each other. They still have Haley, JC and Sam to eliminate so Brett might just play it safe and roll the dice at the final 4.

first, why would you say it's too late?  assuming haleigh goes next, you have 4 people of L6 and 2 others.  Why couldn't he team up with Sam and JC and one of L6 and split out?

two, he DOES have a final 2 deal with tyler.  granted, who knows if tyler will actually honor it.  but from bret's pov, he thinks he is sitting fine within L6.

It must have been a really slow couple of days in the house. The entire episode was just goofy stuff and an engagement.

Heavy rumors that this might be the last BB. If that ends up happening, Brett is in my top 5 of all time. I'm glad he lasted this long, but I wish we could have had more. He had the right idea, but telling Tyler was so ####### stupid. Hope he gets laid off of all this. #bro

Julie Chen-Moonves? That shows me that she's out after the end of the season. It's been fun. I've watched most seasons since season 2. I think I was in 7th grade. It started in a pre-9/11 world. It was fun while it lasted. In our grankids' history books, Big Brother/Survivor/The Real World will get a section. What a time to be alive.

hmm why would it be the last BB? show has to be pretty cheap for how much content it gets out of it. is it the whole Moonves thing? what the heck would they replace 3 nights/week with

if there were odds out there, i would put a good chunk on KC. if i am guessing the jury, Angela gets 0 votes. Tyler gets 2-3, and KC would get the rest
Agreed.

Not sure why Angela and Tyler felt the need to be smartasses about it with the one step and two steps comment (especially Tyler).   Just tell him he’s good player, sorry dude and it’s game. Tyler was playing the jury pretty good up until that point.

Someone had a great quote about Sam - she's at a summer camp this year.  That pretty well sums up what she has done in the house the past 2 months - she just doesn't understand the game or why she's still there.

JC theoretically still has a chance if he wins both the next HOH and Veto, but... JC.

JC had the look of a dead man walking after tonight's 2nd vote.

Brett put all his eggs in the Tyler basket and will shortly be reunited with Blockstar :lmao:

I was really hoping Brett would have realized he was 4th in the group and done something earlier.

It seems pretty clear it's going to come down to the Big 3 now at the end, Kaycee, Angela, Tyler (KAT).... meaning the bitter jury is going to stay bitter as they won't have a patsy to throw their votes at.

Kaycee I think would take Angela, Tyler would take Angela, but who would Angela take?... she'll lose against either one I think, but from her perspective it's tough to guess who she'd choose... maybe "love" will win out and she'd take Tyler.

Kaycee has been awesome and besides her impressive competition skills, has seemed like a pretty grounded and good friend / teammate / person.

I now have some empathy for Angela after hearing her childhood story a couple of episodes ago.  :(

I figured Julie Chen would survive her husband being booted from the island, but maybe not.  Her leaving would still would surprise me, she's an iconic part of the show - but who knows what power struggle will go on behind the scenes and whether she'll suffer backlash from her husband's misdeeds.

Agreed. It's 3 cheap nights over the summer that draw in ratings. But it's clear that Julie isn't coming back (with the Chen-Moonves line). There's a "leaking" producer twitter account that is very concerned that the show hasn't been renewed for next year. If it's viewed as too close to the Moonves-Chen balance of power, we could be seeing the end.

Angela would take Tyler. Her only deal with Kaycee was to the final 4.

hmm that would be interesting. I wonder who is more valuable to the franchise, Jeff Probst or Julie? i would def vote Probst, but Julie has some staying power. that said, they could get one of these former houseguests that are all around to do her position. That fool Paul would probably do it for half of what it costs Julie and the fans would eat it up.

i mean they have a pay service so people can watch it 24 hours a day. If BB were to go down, my guess is something will replace it very quickly. there is a marker for it

Brett trusting Tyler with that plan was bad in hindsight, but given the situation, I don't think it was dumb. he had to take a risk and it didn't pan out. Not staying tighter with level 6 the past few weeks was the only bad move imo.

I don't get bb going down with Julie. There are international versions successful without her and Julie doesn't even host all us nights. Show is fine without her and the ratings are still good as best I can tell (given the fact that they expanded to celebrity versions)

Big Brother can certainly go on without Julie Chen.  It's got to be the least expensive show for the network to produce.  House is already there.  Camera's installed, props for their competitions do not look like very high tech, they pay the contestants what about $2500/week.  The entire season probably costs about what a Ray Romano got paid per episode ffs.  I think CBS may do well to part ways with Mrs. Moonves after this season.

Absolutely agree.   Tons of former houseguests or celebs  that would make a better host than her.   I thought it was a given that everyone knew the only reason she had the gig was because the hubby gave it to her.   He’s gone, they can finally get rid of her, she knows it.
