You'd need a side alliance to gang up on Paul as soon as Cody's gone. But Paul makes everyone feel like he's their best friend and wants to go to the end with them.
Last nights DE was the perfect time. Jason could have done it and boom it would have been over

But they needed to have that plan in place before DE. With no time to strategize, the house would have evicted whoever was sitting next to Paul.

Paul was attached to Jason's hip right after he won and would not let Jason talk with anyone else.  I hate Paul.  However, I may hate the other houseguests more for just following him blindly and refusing to take a shot at him.

Cody almost seemed to forget his daughter.  "Can't wait to see Jessica...      and my daughter"
He is the biggest tool on this shows history. And he's scary to boot. Why she would even remotely consider him outside the house is beyond me.

Based on his talk with Kevin, it sounds like he's got a better chance at seeing Jess in person before his daughter.  Basically said he gave up his summer with the girl to do BB.  He probably doesn't live near the ex.

Josh is a great example of the old adage of why you never argue with an idiot.  He drags you down to his level and beats you with experience.  When people try to mix it up with him, he makes crap up, babbles incoherently, and makes you look as stupid as him.  It's fascinating to watch.

Then he runs and cries cuz you hurt his feewwings.

Josh is probably bipolar or has some other such mental illness. Cody is just a tool.
They're all pretty much tools in there.  It's what the house does to most people and this season it seems EXTREME.  Cody could be one of the better people outside the house.  I don't watch much of the feeds though, or pry into their real world lives online (besides the Raven video this year), so I'm working with little info here.

I still wonder had Cody not won the 1st HOH, or not had to nominate almost half the house, or if he just had a normal HOH, where we'd be at right now with this group.

It's hard for anyone with zero social game to win. He might have been better off if he didnt win the first HOH, but he blew it himself, 100%. He could have simply not nominated Christmas...who was supposedly on his team and he would have been fine. The trying to backdoor Paul was an acceptable effort. When that failed, he made a terrible game move for no reason.

Says something inflammatory, then cuts you off as you try talking to him with the "Why are you getting angry, why are you yelling" nonsense.  Then he cries if you actually win the argument to gain sympathy.  I don't condone the things Cody and Jessica said to him, but he does deserve to be put in his place.  Not in the way they went about it though.

So did I miss anything with this Friday edition of BB?  Julie made it sound like a nothing show in her closing words last night, making it seem like a re-cap show so I concentrated on my fantasy football leagues....soo did I miss anything worthy of noting here?  Do tell if so

It was a recap.  The edit was an attempt to make the remaining houseguests seem likeable.

i think tonight's episode has turned this from a guilty pleasure, to just truly depressing that i spend time watching this. Really just spent 40+ minutes watching dudes eat cereal for a nice 5-8 minute segment, along with recapping all kinds of immature dumb relationships. :(

Could not stand that shuffleboard competition.

They basically let Paul sit up there until the end...giving him the best possible odds of winning HoH.

Thankfully he lost.

Christmas definitely threw that final attempt...just does not want to get blood on her hands at this point.

This just sucks more than most seasons...basically setting up a Paul and Alex finale with some schmuck to go along unless someone does SOMETHING...damn...ANYTHING.

It's like Paul promised to give half the money back to the producers if he wins it all...

Sadly, the cereal was the most interesting part.  I can't imagine this gets any ratings.  You know it's a rough season when a highlight is a mentally challenged dude banging pots together.

I'm actually hoping that the morning after the finale, I wake up to a news story that Cody and Matt beat the snot out of Josh after the cameras shut off.

I realize that these things are edited, but when Paul calls anyone out, like with Mark, they don't speak the truth.  "dude, it's a game and you've played it before.  Of course we talked about getting you out.  Hell, we've pretty much bounced everyone's name around at some point."

Christmas making BIG MOVES!!!!  Let's take out the one guy everyone wants out.  What a devious vixen.  Is that Christmas, or Machiavelli?

Big Moves!!!  Big Moves!!! until they actually have to do anything, then they shrivel up and make the house wants to do it play.

I think I will finish this season and then I'm done with this show.
*The players used to actually play the game, now they are all sheep.
*The DR conversations are obviously scripted.  They coax them into saying things they might do in an attempt to deflect from the obvious.
*Piped in sound effects.  I can't remember what it was from last year, but now whenever Christmas is rolling along, you hear wheel squeeks or bike bell sounds.
*Zingbot is just effing stupid.  That and the stupid over the top reactions.

Just watching it tonight and thought to myself, "why the hell am I watching this?"

I was watching live feeds a couple of weeks ago, and Kevin was talking about production coercing them, and compared them to puppet masters, Production came over the intercom, and said loudly, 'You are not allowed to talk about production'. All of the feeds went to goldfish. Game over. These 'reality' shows are all scripted. Time to stop watching all of them.

And the muscle bound idiot with the underbite gives bobblebeard the safety for the week?

I mean...even if someone caught a clue...they couldn't get this guy out.

It's damned ridiculous.

Wife, who watches religiously (and actually went to a taping a few years ago), says this is the worst season ever.

You watch for the:

BIG MOVES!!!!!!

Anyone know what the Zing was on Alex?

I didn't get that one when zingbot said it originally. It was something about "what handles wieners and wears cat ears"... and something else. And then the answer was bleeped out.

I absolutely don't understand this.  THey know all of this will be on national TV and they let that happen?  They only good one was the Alex carrying the dead weight on Jason.  The rest were not funny or were down right mean.

I thought the zings were pretty damn good, much funnier and harsher than previous seasons.  He called Josh fat and matts was pure gold.

Just keeping thinking about Jessica wasting her HOH on Ramses. She obviously wanted Josh out but foolishly didn't put him up against one of the core group. That is where the season went off the tracks.

I agree. its just one of those seasons where everyone is just going along with the house, it should start getting good in about two weeks.  There have been plenty of seasons like this with the exception of having to deal with watching Paul run the show back to back seasons.

Don't watch this show a ton, but have caught a couple episodes.  Hate that I missed zingbot, but youtube helps.  As one who believes that the worse your play the worse he should go after you, I didn't think he went far enough.  These people really are terrible at this game.

He's ZingBot, not ComplimentBot. If the house guest can laugh at it, there's no need for outrage from viewers.

I thought zingbot was hilarious. Looked like josh was going to cry after his zing. And the mark byesexual one was awesome

the only reason that one was dumb is because Alex hasn't acted like a hoe or whatever they called her at all (that I know of anyways, maybe she has). The way she has played it would be hard to find a good jab at her imo

I honestly though that the house would turn on Paul after Cody left. Nope! This season has become unwatchable. Paul's three weeks of immunity was too powerful. Production screwed up bigly with that temptation. Ruined the show.
