***Official Big Brother Thread*** No Spoilers Starts 7/6 (2 Viewers)

I remember Kyle have a convo with the dark haired girl about there being another potential ”Cookout” in this season. She was looking at him like “good luck with that”.

It is an issue this show will have however. How does this work when race is a criteria for a group‘s voting so openly?

Sooooo, the minorities can align based on race, openly talk about not voting someone out based on race, but a white guy can’t even talk about aligning based on race in response? This country is so ****ed. 😆

I mean this is a reality show with a bunch of dopes on it so take it all with a grain of salt. But, it is a bit wild for the show where the contestants vote each other off to have this dynamic.

Pretty sure the guy who won it last year at one point even said something like “even if they see what we are doing they aren’t going to be able to say anything about it” IIRC.

Michael and Brittney look pretty bad here imo. If this is really a major issue bring it up, don’t use it for game.

Kyle’s playing the game and trying to strategize. Feels like we’re playing Big Baby again.

Agree with this and Turner even made mention of it at the end. If it was such an issue for you why did you wait until your alliance is in trouble before you bring it up.

Terrance is on to Michael and Brittany I think. He was asking why they waiting to divulge this until now. It's pretty obvious think didn't think enough of it at the time it happened but made it a big deal once they thought it would benefit their game. Unless they (M or B) win HOH, I think they will be targets of the house... I may be missing something as I really have not watched as close as prior years.

What exactly did Kyle do to become the bad guy. I never heard a racist thing come out of his mouth.

I think after last season and now this I'm done with this show. It was a good run.

Me too.

Michael and Brittany are pure evil IMO. They sat on what they perceived to be a racist alliance (just because it was all white people) for 2 weeks and twisted it into a big thing to better their games. Terrance is onto it I believe. Kyle aligned himself with Turner early on with a Final 2 deal. He then began a showmance with Allysa. He felt closest and trusted (big mistake) Michale and Brittany. He simply suggested a secret "cookout" type alliance which would be an under the radar type thing. Michael and Brittany took it and ran to make him look like it was purely racially motivated, not that the Cookout was either :bored:. The hypocrisy is astounding.... Michael and Brittany sealed their fate now if they don't continue to win challenges as Terrance, Monte and Taylor will align and gun for them. If Michael or Brittany wins HOH I wonder who they put up?

It really is unbelievable. The ridiculous hypocrisy with this is joke. And you're right about this country, it has become sad & pathetic.

It’s such BS. Last year was the Cookout. African Americans made a pact to go to the finals and never vote out a person of color. They had the numbers and were successful. If that were a group of caucasians doing that it would have been mass hysteria. Then Taylor announces - “I can’t vote against a strong black woman”. So Kyle thought there was a chance that it could be another Cookout scenario. Every person in that house was thinking it. It just happened last year. Kyle said it out loud and was crucified. It was sickening. Things have gone too far the other way. He wasn’t racist. He was observant. And honest.

I don't see a way for Michael or Brittany to win the game after that move unless they are sitting together at the finals. All Kyle did was suggest that it could be a possibility that there was a smaller "cookout" alliance which anyone that has watched last season knows is possible. Is he not allowed to even think that could be a possibility after it has happened or is this a one way street? Michael had a really good shot at winning the whole thing until this move IMO but I don't see him getting the votes even with all of his wins in competitions. I think Kyle came out of the whole situation looking better than both M or B.

oh........and Taylor even said that she wouldn't put up a woman of color.

What's the possibility that Kyle get America's favorite houseguest?

zero. it almost 99.9% going to be Taylor.

I'm still blown away with the Kyle business. I'll give CBS some props though, they never really made Kyle out to be the bad guy here. Seems like they have pinned on Michael and brit, as it should be. So glad the studio audience didn't boo him as he was evicted.

I have a feeling Michael ends up going after Turner this week. I'm not caught up, but its the smart move. Tho Kyle and Turner in jury could totally sway everyone away from Michael. Unfortunately I think Kyle is too nice.

Just got caught up last night after traveling last week. What an effing joke the Kyle thing was. Trying to make him out to be a racist when all he did was throw out the idea of the possibility of a Cookout situation that JUST HAPPENED LAST SEASON. I mean, you can't even discuss game strategies to counter a scenario that obviously has been proven to be very powerful? Black contestants can blatantly target whites and carry out the plan for 7+ weeks, but white contestants can't even discuss how to possibly prevent that? Such a joke.

I looked for it, but can't find what I wrote during the cookout season, but I know me and @PinkydaPimp had a good back and forth on it. I wrote something like how the Cookout is looked at as some woke victory. While if a group of white people formed "the Country Club" and picked off all the black and asians of the house the show would get culture cancelled in about 2 minutes. At some level, I get it. But on another level it's such BS. It's a game. It's not Django Unchained.

I'm sure I'll wind up watching at some point, but I lost all interest watching when they split the house inside and out. I've been following updates via Twitter mostly since but sounds like nonsense since then and glad I haven't been watching.

This season had so much potential. I never thought the cookout would last as long as it has. There has been some good game play by the cook out though. They really haven't been in power much, but they have gotten all their side alliances to do their dirty work. I can respect that as far as game play.

The funniest/worst part of this whole thing is you know some people have to suspect an all black alliance...but you can't even mention it without some backlash. That would be agonizing as a HG.

They have to turn on each other at some point, but I wouldn't be surprised to know they have some sort of final 6 deal to split the money amongst themselves.

@offdee I found my post from last year...as I suspected, Kyle does not read my posts.

That was actually a real cool twist imo.

It was a great twist. So many seasons fall apart because they have these 8 people alliances when there are 12 people in the house. Makes for a boring month. I'm all for it again next year.

This is the most pathetic group of people/competitors in history. Embarrassing how Michael wins EVERY single competition and it usually isnt close.

I love how he celebrates raising his arms in the air :ROFLMAO: It never changes

I stopped watching a couple weeks back. There's just not a lot of interesting characters left. Turner/Terrance/Brittany/Showmance (latter belonged on Love Island or similar) offer nothing. Why I hated them splitting up because that outside group offered nothing of interest.

Turner being Bi definitely caught me off guard. Strange timing by production to announce it. Seems like they always get that stuff out in the first week or so.

Michael sending home Terrence seems incredibly weak. No idea why Monte isn't on the table for him? @irish eyes I'm like you, I have no idea why no one can beat him in anything. Are the others just that pathetic?

Terrance has been mostly useless, but he does seem intent on blowing up Michaels game in the jury house, which would at the very least be somewhat interesting. But no one left in the house seems deserving to win at this point.

Wish they would do the jury buy back thing. Would be great to get someone back in the house.

"Ya Boy" DJ Showtime is useless. Maybe he would have been an interesting cast 20 years ago along with his dated references. Old dude been flip flopping all season and useless in comps. He isn't a number and knew he wasn't getting strung along til the end. If that were the case low budget Elvis would have been kept several weeks back.

I don't think a 2 minute clip of Aaryn and Gina Marie (who are probably some of the worst people ever on the show) accurately sums up 24 seasons of BB. They definitely bullied that girl, but that's not indicative of what happens ever single season.

I read that Michael has been studying constantly both in the house and prior so he knows these comps and whats coming. That cant explain execution of them but it sounds like he has been very prepared for the comps. I agree though it would be better for Michael if he targeted Monte. However he may also think hes keeping a shield? Really hes a target for everyone at this point and has to win out to avoid being evicted. It would be impressive if he makes it through the double.

My point was those country club alliances have been formed.

I feel like the double is set up to try and get Michael out. I could be wrong. Its all for chance anyways, the doubles usually have the quick, get lucky kind of comps. Roll a ball and get a high number kind of thing. Maybe something physical where Monte can best him. I think I'm rooting for Monte of Turner at this point.

Michael comes across even worse after last night.
yea he was PISSED. I was surprised he completely threw brittney under the bus like that but i get it i guess. Terrence also had a salty exit.
Yep, but this is what BB is all about!

I really thought Turner and Monte were going with the guys alliance. I think Taylor talked some sense into them. That was great. I really liked Michael at one point, but was happy to see him go last night. I think Monte has played the best game so far. Monte has cruised, hasn't made an enemy, is never on anyones radar, hasn't really lied to anyone that I can remember and seems like he can compete when he needs too. Probably the most deserving. Taylor has been good too, but she had a shaky start.

And not to keep bringing up the Kyle stuff, but that Jury segment felt cringy. I don't know if CBS is telling him to just be overly remorseful, or if viewers are still in the dark about some things? When he explained exactly what happened and all 3 jurors freaked out and basically said they needed some space. Indy had to walk away. Has Kyle just convinced himself he's a member of the KKK? I'm not sure I'd handle it the same way if I were Kyle.

I'm still not sure why questioning that there could be a small alliance based on a minority is a death sentence in the game but then you have the girls or guys talking about an all gender based alliance. If the first one you are considered a racist then is the other not considered sexist and one is worse than the other?

Especially when the world knows that’s exactly what happened last year.

Michael dominated the game and was the most deserving winner. He was the biggest threat and they were right to take their shot. Best player doesn’t always win

I always think about what it would be like to be on the show. You have to sit there all day long thinking about every single scenario. He just went over the scenario's, nothing more. And that is an extremely likely scenario. Especially after Taylor said she wouldn't put up a woman of color! My first thought would have been there must be another cookout type alliance. Kyle had been in the house nearly 2 months and had his every word recorded, to my knowledge he never said anything remotely racist, or even mean. He seems like the whitest dude on earth, but hardly a bad guy with "a lot to learn."

The next jury segment should be good. Michael and Terrance....Terrance will be the one to call him out on the way they acted to Kyle.

Catching up on the 1st half of last night's episode. Not surprising to see DJ Sh🤡 wtime going home. You can't win when you build zero firm connections/loyalty in the house. Had he done that AT ALL he'd have a shot to being "carried to the end".

Its because of the context. An all womens alliance isnt seen as bad because in the shows history there have only been i think 8 women who won out of the 24 seasons. But we have seen many all male alliances. So while all male alliances are cringy, all female alliances arent because of that context and the fact they have often been targets and at a disadvantage. This is the same reason why an all white alliance is cringy and an all black alliance isnt, because up until last season there wasnt a single black winner. In 22 previous seasons. Celebrity BB was the exception.

Should it be a death sentence for Kyle? No. I thought the house handled it well and i think Kyle will learn from it. But it was cringy no doubt.

Who said "racist moment?" I dont think Kyle is a racist. I think, as he admit he has bias that led to some of his actions in the house. He made a bunch of insensitive comments in addition to pitching the white alliance which is context they did not show on the live show. Also it wasnt just the one time he pitched that, he kept pressing it even tho there was no basis to it other than his bias. His actions went on for weeks and the show kept it off the main show and likely would have kept it off completely if Michael hadn't spilled the beans.

Thanks buddy. I don't watch the live feeds so I was wondering if something happened that I hadn't seen. In the past there have been some not so overtly racist remarks made by contestants. I just didn't see that from Kyle thanks for the clarification.

How so? He completely understood their move and pretty much applauded it saying it was a good move on their part. Throwing Brittany under the bus was just desperation, totally understandable. Sure he was pissed but wouldn't you be? He played a fantastic game for most of the season.

I thought he played a good game. BUT. I think his biggest flaw was that he won comps he didnt need to win. If he had the social game he should have fell back to take the target off of him. He cemented a target on himself by winning comps he didnt need to.
