Bakes, finally got one of my characters (hunter) to 32 so ready to try out hard mode CE this week.
BTW, solo'd HM Abyss last week as a 31 with the Don't Touch Me Gauntlets - was a lot of fun and did the whole thing without killing a single add. My goal this week is to solo the Bridge - I think it will be pretty challenging though.

You can't. You can solo opening the vault and getting first chest though via cheese...I tried to show you once but you quit out.

Soloing the HM abyss with the Hunter is stressful but fun. I've never solo'd the bridge on hard but have done it on normal. Would definitely be tough without doing the thrall cheese to start. We can try to 2 man it if you want.

I haven't used my NLB but I hear its probably the worst exotic in the game, unfortunately. Perhaps the best use for it is in Raids (specificallly, Crota Hard Mode) where people will equip it to deploy the heavy ammo exploit (dump all your primary and heavy ammo prior the start and killing ads will drop more heavy ammo packs). Don't be afraid to break it down to use it as an Exotic Shard if you need to - as a DLC exotic, it drops a bit more frequently than most others. It is possible they may buff it in the future though.
Two to the Morgue is a great gun for crucible, but it depends on what perks you get. If you got Shot package in your second perk, that would be a huge win. Rangefinder is also good, as are Final Round, Grenadier, and Luck in the Chamber. Overall, the fire rate is a bit slow on this gun but it hits like a truck.
ETA: congrats on getting legendary or better guns on both runs though - I generally only get one gun per pair of runs, with the other giving me crap like shards/blue engrams.

congrats on getting the worst gun in the game. RNGsus ####ed you, with no lube. I guess you can save it to use for the heavy ammo glitch

It's not that bad. I see it pretty much as 7 strange coins (the cost of an exotic shard), and I've had plenty of worse rewards for weeklies and nightfalls than that. Last week I got 8 Ascendant Shards for the nightfall and a blue engram. I had 60 shards in my inventory and am fully upgraded...wtf am I going to do with that? This week, I got a legendary helmet engram and a blue engram - so really 2 ascendant shards. Would greatly have preferred 7 coins.

Yeah, I have over 200 shards. They need to either stop giving them as a nightfall reward, and start giving radiant materials, or allow an exchange like they do with the radiant materials.

Definitely more excited about it for PVP. Used it a bit after I got it and enjoyed it.

Hell, good shottys are fun to mess around with when you're doing bounties and patrol missions etc as well

There was a claim going around (I think originating from Reddit) that for Iron Banner, if you had leveled up to rank 4 or 5 in the previous IB event, then if you logged in and sat in Orbit prior to the weekly reset (4 am EST Tuesday) and then went directly to the Tower after reset, all of the items you can buy at Rank 4 or 5 would be available for purchase (provided you had the glimmer).
I can happily report that this worked for me today. Was Rank 5, and bought the new boots, a shotgun, and a second scout rifle.

worked for me as well. Was hoping he'd be selling the Spear but figured it was going to be the scout and the shotgun. That scout rife is pretty sweet as is with firefly. I'm afraid to reroll it!You must have had a lot of items banked to sell to the cryptard to buy all that
I bought the shotty as well, but I'm not really sure why.... why not I guess.
I'm gonna reroll my radegast fury again from last IB and try to get tracking instead of cluster bombs

lol yeah I did nothing but Exclusion Zone the last few days....stored up around 40 network keys with about 2-3 hrs of total grinding. Honestly, I didn't need any of the stuff (who does, really?) but just felt like maximizing my last IB grind because it was so painful.
The Gheleon's Demise vendor roll is perfect as is. That gun with a range perk is like a mini semi-auto sniper rifle. Efrideet's Spear is great as well....with field scout and surplus its my favorite sniper in the game. Hopefully it will be one of the random drops for people.

You going to rank up Iron banner again this time? I still might do it with my Warlock as that character is many radiant shards shy of 32 and it is taking FOREVER to rank up Eris Morn. So I'd run it with you if you're up for it.

Shotguns are getting a good buff in the next patch. It's only in PVE but they're essentially going to be double the damage.

I don't know. I've never had a good one until last week when I got two Universal Remotes (primary shotgun). It apparently is terrible until you level it up. We'll see!

Finally started leveling additional characters. Wish I had done this earlier but I was mostly a PvP player.I've got my Titan to 30 and my Warlock to 25.
Ran VoG for the first time with my Titan last night. Got a Vex Mythoclast and a Hawkmoon. Never got either of those in all my runs as a Hunter.

I've tried running VoG and CE, but I feel like I'm terribly under-equipped for either one and it has been hard to gather a fireteam via reddit that can work together.

I think its been harder lately to find groups. I only use reddit at this point. Still seems everyone only wants maxed 32s even for lower level raids. I still have a blue chest piece on my 30 Titan. They made fun of me but let me run and I got the Vex Mythoclast. We started at the Gatekeepers so I found a guy on reddit giving away the Gorgon checkpoint and jumped in there and got the Hawkmoon.

The only legendary heavy I use is the Super Good Advice. It might be the only one I have now that I think about it.

My guys run CE regular and VoG hard and regular each week. We do occasionally need a 6th. I'll keep you in mind for invites.

I have yet to do a weekly/nightfall/raid due to the fact that I can never find anyone. I guess there is a patch this week for the weekly/nightfall matchmaking. Hopefully that will work going forward.

Tonight is nightfall night for us. It's a ####ty one so some of my guys may not run it but we generally have 2 groups running it at the same time. You can always feel free to jump in my chat part if you want. We usually have multiple groups in it.

Teamed up with Kanil for a Crota kill tonight. It was the first time I ran the sword. Took a few tries but we got him.
I finally realized I could trade radiant energy for radiant shards so I leveled my Hunter up to 32 today.

It was impressive for your first sword run. I've never tried it because I'm not 32 but I've seen the guys I play with try it for the first time and they were WAY worse. Nice job.
