****Official**** Det at GB (-11.5) MNF 48.5 O/U (1 Viewer)

Yeah, but studies show that in the modern game, if you're beyond 4.6-4.65 then you've got a problem in the NFL. His forty pretty much made him an outlier in the negative sense, something you never want to be.

He ran an official 4.55 at the Wisconsin Pro day, that is probably closer to reality.

One can have a bad day at the combine, one supposes. But it's useful when everybody runs under the same conditions to have a baseline. Player Profiler was adding .5 to pro day times for the class this year. They're slow by at least that, usually. Cephus is probably somewhere between 4.60-4.7. He ran a 4.73 at the combine.

Lots of thoughts here at Halftime

-Detroit looks different. Campbell is at least coaching them up and coaching them well. I feel confident I am witnessing the Lions pouring in the foundation for what is going to be a solid football team.

-Penei Sewell might be an All-Pro right now. That #58 is just manhandling people on that left side, he moves his defender backwards on almost every run block, not sure why they don't try and spring a few more ver there BUT he is doing an outstanding job pass blocking and perhaps they want him focused on that. He is going to help mold that entire offense by anchoring the left side, what a selection by Detroit.

-Jared Goff, you all managed to trade for a Super Bowl starting Quarterback and also got the Rams to throw in not one but TWO 1st round picks and more and you still managed to get younger at QB and have additional future picks to help Goff. Jared is leading these guys. Maybe he was. young dumb QB in Los Angeles and held the team back but he got a lot of experience and this team seems to respond to him. I'm impressed with his leadership, poise and when you have #58 protecting your blind side it's amazing what you can set up shop and do.

-We have a dog fight in the 2nd half and we had a great game last week, this has been wildly entertaining.

Or he had a bad day.  3-56-1 in the first half suggest maybe it was.

Not really. One came on a scramble where he had tons of time to get open. The longer a receiver has, the more open he can get more easily.

I have him in a dynasty league. I'm not riveted watching him is all. He's a fine fourth or fifth, not a first or second.

Adams catch for 50 might be the spark Green Bay needs, if Detroit could hold them to a FG try after getting ripped on the bomb by Rodgers, such a strong 1st half, but it looks like Rodgers has different ideas for the 2nd Half. Some big injuries to both teams on their defenses tonight.

See how the 3rd Q plays out but it looks like it could be whoever has the ball last. If Green Bay does score here, will be interesting if their defense shows up.

Right over the ear of the linebacker.  Love those.  Super bowl to Jennings…Brady had one week one like that.  Love those throws.

Like, nobody is arguing Stafford isn't better than Goff. But its arguable that the difference isn't gigantic, and the Lions weren't a contender with Stafford at 33.

Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Miami all made mistakes passing on Sewell in my opinion. I kind of think Decker goes to RT when he comes back off IR. He already got his LT contract, so he probably will be open to it. Ragnow is also arguably the best C in the NFL. So OL is a strength of the team.

Agree completely that Detroit does seem to be building a solid foundation. With 4 1sts the next 2 seasons, if Goff is their QB, they could surround him with an excellent supporting cast.

All day this. This team might be very very good within a season or two

Didnt love that call

ON 4th and less then 1 line up under center and at least feel out the sneak

The D.C. for Green Bay might have just sustained a concussion

"Love the decision to go for it not sure I like the throw in that situation"

Brian Griese

Campbell nothing if not aggressive.

Easy to nitpick given the results, though it wouldn't have put them back ahead, so *shrug*
