Hi all. Occasional follower, first time poster. I've got one helluva buzz going on right now. Will soon be wasted. Thanks for letting me pop this cherry.

Thanks, stranger. I have a feeling posting in this thread is like banging a fat chick. Feels oh so right at the moment but when you sober up there's a lot of vomiting and regret. Unless you're Christo.

About 100 pages ago I was drunk posting about Don Beebe for some reason. The next day I hung my head in shame and then laughed for a half hour. Embrace it.

I often drink wine, and that does the trick a bit quicker, but I'm a lousy Irish drunk on hard alcohol. I often pass out, black out, say dumb #### I don't remember, start animosity, or all of the above when I drink vodka, gin, run, etc. Love the taste, love being drunk at the time, hate the eraser brain aspect. I like being a happy drunk, and hence must drink the soft ####. Alas, the curse of the Irish gene.

Gator, your words cut like a surgeon.....why do you have to be so cruel? Just cause she put out the best album in the year of the tiger doesn't mean you should hate on her. It truly was a champagne year for Annie. I know I'm a cheerleader, but you should show some strange mercy and stop being such a dilettante. It's true that the album was a hipster hit, but the hysterical strength of the Pitchfork crowd shouldn't sway you like it does the rest of the TBS crowd (who are just as big of hipsters as I am, though they like to act like they're not). Time for you to carve the neutered fruit and watch the northern lights and just reflect on the gloriousness of the album. I know you hated "Chloe in the Afternoon", but there's so much more on there.

Yeah, plenty of strong brews. I've just never cared for the taste. Some I can tolerate but beer isn't my thing. If I go with the sippy cup I'll stick with a hard ale or whiskey/milk drink. Else it's the hard stuff.

Yeah, plenty of strong brews. I've just never cared for the taste. Some I can tolerate but beer isn't my thing. If I go with the sippy cup I'll stick with a hard ale or whiskey/milk drink. Else it's the hard stuff.

Yeah, her music has never really been a lyrical masterpiece...it's her the music itself that draws me in. I'm not shy in that I'm a fanboy of hers and have been since her first album. It's just my "style" of music. I can't articulate how crushed I was when she cancelled her concert here last month. I still have the unused tickets. She says she'll be back....I sure as hell hope so.ETA - wasn't you with the hipster thing. I like LCD Soundsystem too, but he's just as hipster as she is.....he just didn't put out an album in the middle of 2011. just thought it was funny.
