Looks like it is the full game plus Premium content - if you only need premium you can apparently apply just that code and sell the other. Any ideas where to go about doing that?
I almost always play 64 player, so most of the maps I play on are pretty large, but they scale down nicely when playing with fewer players. That said, one of the DLCs was called Close Quarters and includes very small maps. I'd say there is a nice balance on map size, whichever way you like to play it is probably supported.
Jets/Choppers can be overpowered depending on the pilot, but it's only occasionally that I get in a server where they are raping the ground troops. There are some decent ways to get rid of air vehicles as well, so they can be taken care of.
I still see new players joining the games, and I also see players who have gotten the top level 100 times over. There are servers with level limits if you are interested in avoiding those players until later (at least on PC.)
Origin won't let me have this deal because I already own Battlefield 3 Limited Edition. Have I mentioned how much I hate Origin?
Contacted EA and Origin about this and the only thing they suggest is to buy the Premium content alone (which is $50) since I already own Battlefield 3. Apparently Origin won't allow the sale because of this. I asked why I should be expected to pay $50 for it when I should be able to pay $30 today? But I was dropped. Again, another reason Origin is terrible. I've never encountered this on Steam, and yes I've been in a similar situation on Steam twice. I own both Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 GotY edition on Steam, as well as GTA IV and GTA IV GotY edition (which included the two expansions) on Steam. On neither did it say: "Ooops, sorry. You can't have the game again because you bought a copy of the game early." Sounds like a cable company's policy./rant
Glad I didn't wait when I saw the Best Buy deal for the entire Premium Edition ($25) I was able to apply just the Premium code to my existing account and now am looking to maybe sell the regular code to knock a few more $ off the cost of the Premium Edition. Looks like that price is back to the normal $59.99 at Best Buy though, sorry.
You should have jumped on the $30 deal through GMG a few weeks ago. I paid $30 and got separate codes for BF3 and BF3 Premium. Entered the Premium code, bang! It's there. Still have a BF3 to gift, as well.
They have a premium edition that gives you everything. Its currently $47 on Origin.You picked a good day. The Aftermath DLC drops tomorrow.

These maps are very detailed with tons of broken ground, elevation changes, hidden tunnels, tall buildings, etc. Definitely something for everyone from an infantry perspective.
Even when the other pilots of nearly as awful as me, i just cant kill them. I'll hit then with like 5 or 6 burst from my machine gun, but they don't go down. Meanwhile, Iceman and Maverick come zooming out of nowhere to blow me out of the sky in one pass 
Oh yeah, last DLC drops in like 9 days. Looks pretty cool 
I'm playing 4 or 5 nights/wk. Jets are better on HC, but AA's are also better. My advice is stay really high or really low in a jet, air radar is a must.I know nobody is playing anymore, but...There is NOTHING more frustrating than trying to learn how to fly a jet in this game. I'm finally at the point where I can avoid flying myself into the round, but its pretty much impossible to get kills or avoid being killed. I'm getting SLIGHTLY better, but if there is anyone with 2 brain cells in an enemy jet or AA tank, i last all of 15 seconds once they spot me.(if that) I've been trying to fly for like 2 and a half hours of game time, and I think i have like 6 total kills
I played some today.I know nobody is playing anymore, but...There is NOTHING more frustrating than trying to learn how to fly a jet in this game. I'm finally at the point where I can avoid flying myself into the round, but its pretty much impossible to get kills or avoid being killed. I'm getting SLIGHTLY better, but if there is anyone with 2 brain cells in an enemy jet or AA tank, i last all of 15 seconds once they spot me.(if that) I've been trying to fly for like 2 and a half hours of game time, and I think i have like 6 total kills

Yeah, I'm betting on this as well. With more targets up in the, the aggression of the good pilots wont be focused on me all the time. Once I get some better unlocks and get more comfortable dog-fighting, maybe I'll be able to bring it back to the other modes. Just trying to find some things to do other than play infantry. My K/D has dropped a lot since I've been playing the different game modes, like gun master. The smaller maps play more like CoD and it's harder to get a high K/D.Yeah, I'm betting on this as well. Bikes look neat. I might pick it up, but realistically, I just ordered Bioshock and I only have so much time to game. Just playing a game with Ender without him rage quitting halfway will be worth the $$ imo.
Most of the End Game maps are horrible for conquest, though. Too linear. And I don't know if it was a glitch or a feature to not allow the other team to capture a flag while you're holding onto one of theirs, but that's horrible too. It just leads to a camp fest of grabbing the enemy flag, run the timer out and capture first to win. And it seems that every server I'm in plays this way.
Best bet is to choose a server with less than 32 people in those cases.
My guess is that it'll involve a lot of blues and oranges.
I did. It was similar to a campaign of CoD. I liked the first few missions, but the last ones were a bit dull. I need a someone to help with some more co-op points. I only have two more co-op unlocks. If someone is interested, let me know.
