***OFFICIAL 'Fear The Walking Dead' Thread*** (1 Viewer)

It's amazing to consistently watch a show that you don't like. Not only just watch it, but also become an insufferable jacknugget over it. Can't even watch with your wife cause all you do is complain and annoy her the whole time?? Post 500 times on here about it?

It's painfully pitiful. This show flips some sort of miracle switch in peoples brains and just shuts off all logic about anything and everything that has t do with watching shows because you LIKE them.
Think you're getting a little too worked up about it yourself there, guy.

But I like the show, so it's far less pitiful to post in the show's thread about show related items.

Worked up? More like fascinated. It's a giant jumbled of mess of hilarity/sadness/cheer/annoyance/joy to see it play out here.

I think the best part is the show-haters who claim that people who like the show will "defend every little aspect of it". That is just part of their irrationality that doesn't understand what is happening.

People aren't defending it, they are simply baffled by how ridiculously stupid much of the nitpicking is, or how people complain about things because they didn't pay attention and missed something which would have answered their complaint.

Anyone ever wonder why THIS show (and TWD mainly) has a hundred pages of nonsensical complaints, while really no other show does?

It is utterly fascinating. It needs to be studied and analyzed to figure out the dynamics of the human brain, and why THIS show is such a giant magnet for stupidity, and also the absolute most popular show for people who DON'T like it.

Or even just a study on Flap and just Flap, since he is the poster child for this irrational behavior.
They mirror the old Lost thread.
Oh god I can't even imagine that one. Lost was all messed up on purpose, and I bet people complained about the lack of realism of things.

177 pages of light reading.

Lost was probably produced with this forum in mind.

Only 177 pages though?? By the time TWD is over it might be 3 grand

You joined after Lost ended, right?

I like the show but I love to throw out bait to folks.

Sometimes when watching the show, I am thinking of what I'm going to rush in here and post.

Lost thread was so big, we got new threads for each season.

Bait is fun. but the true idiocy stands out

We should start a new Lost thread. I missed out on that one.

That show started out great and then just turned into a giant mess of horrible.

I can't see the black dude being willing to share all of his resources and bring everyone on the boat- he doesn't really need them.. i'm sure he's up to something

Very popular series, lot of viewers, some viewers are hate-watching, people are dumb, despite the show being popular they do dumb things which causes a feeding frenzy, etc.
Pretty much this. If you look at other shows with questionable writing talent (such as Homeland), you will find similar comments. Its just that there are not nearly as many people watching Homeland as there are TWD franchise.

And finally, someone thought of getting on a boat and staying off shore.
I was so happy that happened.
I've always thought they could control a zombie apocalypse better if they lived on an island.
Catalinas aren't far off shore... probably water source and arable land there. just have to clear it out and fight off interlopers.
Catalina would be a shining beacon to people suffering from a cataclysmic zombie-type event. I have heard people talk about it in that way before (mostly due to the ability to defend it by land). Now, zombies walking through water is another matter entirely. ;-)

Missed something like a couple weeks, er, 4 nights of riots to evacuate the city? You can't keep a simple timeline in your head let alone understand some of the things that could have made either of these two shows great. You of all people calling other people idiots is the definition of :potkettle:

Also, if you're going to be lame enough to call a guy out you ought to at least quote him so he knows to come defend himself if he wants to.

Considering they didnt show about a full 8 day stretch, nobody has any idea how long riots were going on. Doesnt take much brain power to realize that not every group of people out there just sits back and lets the national guard take over.

Not much of a shocker that you would nitpick the show considering you are now nitpicking this.
Doubt I'd be in the minority that thinks calling people names isn't cool.
But it's perfectly fine to quote them and say the same thing?

This is hilarious.

If you two are gonna have another stupid slap fight, how about you take it to PMs?

We have to figure out what route they took to get to Black Don Draper's house.

Post 1- this show sucks

Post 955- this show sucks

Post 103488- this show sucks

I need to quote these?

Dquon Draper.......i dont trust this fella

That area they are in is in San Pedro. There was a housing development there that sunk into the ocean in 1929. It is near Long Beach. So taking the L.A. River to Dewan Draper's house was factually correct.

Eat it trolls.

Yeah but if you have been to San Pedro you have to know that there are more crack whores than mansions there. That is why I guessed Palos Verdes.

While that didn't necessarily look like San Pedro (to me - shrug), maybe it was.... and it'd make sense since there's a joint called "Walker's Cafe" right near Point Fermin in San Pedro.

It does look like Point Fermin but I thought that was in Palos Verdes, which has mansions and also they had a landslide there which would account for that cliffside.

Good call - it's right behind the Sunken City.

It had to have been filmed in two different locations.
