I think this is by far the best value in the draft so far. I would have considered him at #3 as he makes team building so easy (unless you are the Spurs).

I considered him at 1.01. The deciding factor was that I hate the way Kevin Harlan screams "WEMBANYAMA!!!" any time he doesn't something well in NBA2K25. So I went with Jokic.

He would be the most fun to build around in this thing so even if it was a bad pick at #1 (which it would be - SGA/Jokic are a solid tier above everybody else), it would be a fun bad pick.

I debated strongly Wemby over Giannis but I still love him for that run in 2021 and he's been a top 4 guy for 7 straight seasons. I feel like Wemby is 1 more year away from that true MVP contender status. It could be this year but felt like more of a gamble.

I think people should factor in how available players will be for the season in their rankings. Similar to how we view certain players who are healthy now but always miss lots of games over the course of the season.

During my 3 hours (all after work, BTW) I got a new phone and had to wait for everything to transfer over.

Although, I honestly didn't know we had started drafting already. Wasn't until cappy mentioned it in the other NBA thread while I was watching the Rockets/Thunder game.

I once held up a draft because I went to a taping of "The Price is Right" and they unexpectedly took my phone away. Several different levels of reasonable/unreasonableness occurred

Ok, hopefully everything is going well for @Corporation

I think if we don’t hear from him tonight, we have three options:

1 - Skip him and he can make his picks whenever he’s back (or he can drop out if he chooses in this scenario). Sucks to do this for his first two picks.

2 - Find a replacement (@Instinctive - hi).

3 - I can make picks on his behalf this round and he can jump back in when he’s back around (I’ll bug someone to help decide).

I’m leaning #3 but willing to see what others think.
