Joking aside,  someone having pneumonia in their late 60s is no small thing and a very serious health issue.  Most people are in the hospital for at least a few days if not more and then need weeks to recover afterward.  I can't imagine having it at that age and trying to run a presidential campaign.  It's damn near impossible and could kill the woman.  It appears it already is.
I posted earlier and am not wishing it in any way but people die from pneumonia when they age. It's a horrible thing for an older person to deal with. They also don't respond as well to antibiotics from what I hear.

No. I was just pointing out the "different angle" was the same video just flipped.

She was out on her feet.
She is being dragged into the car, I would say she literally falls into the vehicle. They don't really want her to look like she is getting help but here they should have just picked her up and put her in. Is the dude helping her named Virgil?

She doesn't have pneumonia, come on...

Way to go, idiots. Had a legitimate man of the people and you chose the the sick phony.  President Trump is on you and I hope you never forget it because the rest of us won't. Morons.

Come here...closer...come here really...little closer...let me whisper this to you...stop ruining the make believe world some of us are living in.

It's like we can't enjoy the Easter Bunny for even a minute before you come by and take back all the eggs, you rotten no good Summa ma beach!

Hope you can receive my sarcasm friend.

That's it, Tim.  Take the most pro-Hillary excuse and accept the campaign at its word.  Then shame anyone who questions it.  Shame, shame.

"A 68-year-old woman with pneumonia still kept a schedule that most of us wouldn’t make it through. That’s not weak. That’s actually tough as hell."

Is the spin

"A 68-year-old woman with bad judgement ignored her doctors suggestions to rest and almost died"

is reality

Are you trying to be an actual exhibit of what it's like to witness a person sticking their head in the sand?

Pick One

All of them are reporting about her health, it's on the National News...you're kidding right? I don't expect you to retract any support for her Tim but I do expect you be realistic about what is happening. You're way too smart for some of these juvenile naive posts you like to put up...I feel like you are channeling that girl in your avatar, best Election Movie impersonation I have ever seen.

Wake up
Her health is now an issue.  So what?

Democrats are voting for the platform not Hillary.  We would prefer Kaine, Sanders or Biden anyways.

Those voters don't #### their pants and go, "Clinton is sick I guess I have to vote for the racist who is against everything I believe in."

Where's the video of her arriving at Chelsea's?  Did they carry her out of the car? What happened inside the apartment?  She's running for ####### president! It's over! Done.  Play the video of her collapsing going into the SUV over and over.  Drop out now to save the human race. Unbelievable.

Probably worse.  68 year old candidate is hiding Parkinsons from the electorate and has pneumonia as a complication, amongst seizures.

Well, I think you're right.  I wish I could just vote for Kaine directly instead of suffering through a combination of hearings, impeachment and health spells first.  Plus I'd like to see Kaine more thoroughly vetted for POTUS.  Bizarrely, I am more likely to vote for Hillary in the hopes she's soon out to pasture.

I'm in Netherlands and BBC is covering this like it's curtains for Hillary.  Asking the right questions about how she can go on.

Do you believe she is thru? I surely don't. I am interested how far this story will go but MSNBC's Morning Joe should land the plane real quick about how big they want to push this.

Something far worse than Pneumonia is going on.

Trump is so insane I almost don't care what happens.  If you want him.  Have him.  The U.S. will be a joke.  Like the Filipino president.

If that's who we are?  Let's own it.  Some bull#### country like the rest.

looke like Vertigo which could be reoccurring probably why she fell and received a concussion awhile back. nobody wants a president who periodically can't function. or she was #### face drunk

I can see the need to rush her to the hospital Chelsea's apartment

I would agree that if Hillary were running against a normal candidate- say for instance Marco Rubio- what happened today might have a significant effect on the result.

But against Donald Trump, unless it turns out to be much more serious than what we already know, I doubt it will make any difference at all.
wait, what do we already know?

Until now (not your post but regarding Hillary), I have never seen pneumonia being this big of a deal. I had it, it sucks, it can be bad, but it is not permanent or terminal. Maybe there will be some short-term changes regarding people questioning if they will vote for Hillary but I agree with Tim in that it probably won't have much effect unless there is a long-term issue.

This thread is the last place to look for an unbiased objective opinion regarding undecideds changing their minds. All you see in here are some supporters comparing it to a cold and opponents claiming she is knocking on deaths door. Pneumonia is serious but it is not either of the above.

The first debate is 2 weeks away. She should be fine by then. If it lingers thst long then it could become an issue.

   Its the 5th leading cause of death among people over 65

I don't know if I buy the body double story but that #### was surreal when she is just walking around with no one around her after. When is she ever alone like that?

Almost died? Come on now.

How about average people in the middle of the extremes (bad cold vs knocking on deaths door) that know pneumonia is a serious illness but not a permanent or terminal illness?
Only a small percentage of people with pneumonia die (about 1%), but in elderly patients the death rate is much higher.   She really needs to take care of herself the next couple of weeks.

What would it take for her to actually cede her nomination to anyone whether it be Kaine, Bernie, hell even Biden?  I got to believe all three of those are quickly becoming more electable than Hillary.

People are looking for any reason not to vote for Trump.  It shows how bad of a candidate she actually is that he's still even remotely close.  Remove her and get this locked down.
This was true during the primaries, but, you know, its her time.  Hillary had made some minor progress over the last few weeks then stuck her foot in her mouth with the comment about Trump supporters.  Best part to me is those hell bent on the "her time" shtick are same ones scared ####less about the bed they've made.  Lot's of "I told you so" to go around for sure.

That is true. It is also about 0.2% of deaths (221 per 100,000 people). But those raw numbers by themselves don't really say much. How is the persons general health? How bad is the pneumonia? The latter is especially important. I mentioned earlier that I had a really bad case about 15 years ago and was in the hospital for 3 days. Hers is probably not nearly that bad but she is almost 70 so it is more serious in general because of her age. I was 40 when I had it. She also has the benefit of having doctors with her 24/7 and the best drugs money can buy (have at it "pay to play" people.  )

Like I said earlier, some supporters are going to paint the picture that it is not a big deal (little cough, feels a little run down), while some opponents will look for the worst it could possibly be (death bed, drop out of the election). Like most things it is probably somewhere in the middle. Until proven otherwise I will assume it is a typical case of pneumonia.

No question pneumonia is a serious illness for someone her age but unless she is in the 0.2% death rate for people over 65 she will probably be ok in a couple of weeks, which coincidentally is the first debate.

Can you guys stop using the conspiracy line?  She completely passed out today, on video.

Her campaign said she wasn't sick, then said it was the heat, then when the entire world reminded them that it wasn't hot or humid, they said she had pnuemonia.

Best-case scenario she's got a pretty severe case of pnuemonia and her campaign lied twice.

Sure, some conspiracy theorists will run with this. But that doesn't mean it's a conspiracy.  Those people run with everything.
A group of people lying together is pretty much what a conspiracy is.

:goodposting:

The above is especially true with the first debate being 2 weeks from today.

Hey Jon, this might be the first time I ever gave you a good posting emoticon in a political thread.

:lmao: Both posts were great

Where do you get your information on pneumonia?

Only a small percentage of people with pneumonia die (about 1%), but in elderly patients the death rate is much higher.   She really needs to take care of herself the next couple of weeks.
But why are we to believe she actually has pneumonia? She gets carted off in the morning but later she's doing the sidewalk shuffle & has a staged photo op with a little kid. Doesn't add up

You are making all sorts of assumptions here when you really have no idea what you're talking about.

All of this predicates on everyone having the right information from her camp...maybe it's not pneumonia.

What if it's something much different than Pneumonia, I didn't say worse but just something else they don't really want to face or leak to the press.

what if she made an outrageous comment and wanted something to change the narrative ?
