Definitely. He just looks so slow out there. Then with the way Brown has played and they get Ballard back next year too, could be a very crowded backfield. I've been offered Richardson a few times in other leagues and I just want nothing to do with him.

Well he was pretty underrated at something like WR40, which I think is about where FBG had him this offseason, but he's not a slam dunk top 20 guy for me. Always had a little bit of a question mark about his upright style and route running, which is why I actually didn't commit to him in any leagues. I think he's a pretty good player, but at the same time my level of confidence isn't high enough for me to pay a lot for him.

Considering most have praised this deal as a miracle in my favor, I appreciate you and EBF being on the other side of the fence on this. It's important to see things from all angles in dynasty.The picks should both be middle of the pack. I agree that Floyd and Manuel aren't slam dunks or even necessarily great layups, but value-wise, I had to take it before I was stuck with a huge hole in my roster.

I have a feeling that I'll be able to trade this exact package that I received for Trent for a guy that I like much more as our rookie draft approaches in a few months. Or not, and take four gambles whereas before I had one rapidly depreciating gamble.

Even the biggest Trent lovers should realize they should be getting him for quite a bit less than that.

The interesting part was that he called getting Trent a win-now move.

Yeah, I found that a little puzzling as well but looking at the production he's getting from his RB spot, it might actually be an upgrade...haha

i had another deal for a late first but lije dobson better. i probably didnt get enough for welker but i trade sproles earlier in the year. i now have 4 picks in the top 20 next year.

Excellent. I'm trying to do similar things with Martin in one league. Putting out feelers of Martin+ for any of Green, Dez, Demaryius, Gronk.

The fact that I have no idea which side of the trade you're questioning is probably a pretty good sign that that was a fair trade.

I agree. In two RB required leagues, I'd probably lean to Martin side. In more flexible leagues requiring only 1 RB in the lineup, I'd lean to the Bryant side. In any league this seems fair.

Disagreed, if the doormat is a real doormat. All Peyton is doing this season is making his rookie pick worse, and there's no guarantee Peyton's even back next year (I'd say it's extremely likely, but if he wins a league MVP and a superbowl, you never know). Even if Manning comes back next year, he'll still be a year older and a year closer to the end than Brady.

I think people are quick to forget just how amazing Brady has been since 2007, and too quick to assume that his recent production is the new normal going forward. I like that trade for an out-of-contention team.
