The nfl.com and ufc.com apps are pretty solidWhat sports apps work best for ufc and nfl?
I haven't had much luck. Sportsdevil is the standard answer, but it's so eurocentric that it's tough to find reliable NFL feeds IMO. If people are getting Sportsdevil to work, I hope they'll tell us the specific channels within Sportsdevil they're using.Just got my fire stick today and would like to know this as well.
Cannibalism is wrong.Just got Kodi this past Friday so looking forward to reading through this thread. My wife suggested getting it as her cousin had it and it seems she is already regretting her decision as she told me I would never do anything around the house now. I laughed and told her to fix me a sandwich.
That's awesome! Thanks that's good to know.FYI Fire TV has an iPhone app that lets you use the phone texting keyboard for entering text.

I've just been using USTVNow for NFL - it means I only get whatever games are on in rural Pennsylvania, but that's fine with me since I don't have a specific team I'm looking for. From my experience, it's 100% reliable, which means a lot to me - I hate spending the first 10 minutes of each game hunting for a shady feed.
With the popularity and ease of use of kodi, its just a matter of time before they figure something out. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.johnnyrock62000 said:If this anti-piracy technology by Cisco works it could be big for entertainment jobs, quality of movies, taxes and the economy. We'll see I guess.

Usually works for me.
Downside is everything is SD def. Anyone have HD sources on Kodi/sportsdevil?
I had them, they're good but flawed. They are a re-seller of SmoothStreams.tv streams, there are a number of sites that re-sell their signals, SA being one of them with their own servers. They had a run of weeks where DDoS attacks took their streams down completely, and the other sites that re-sell didn't experience near the downtime (mine was down a few hours, they were down for like 2 weeks). They tend to be awful/arrogant with Twitter, etc. support when times are bad too, and just flood their stream with re-tweets of satisfied customers. It's the wild wild west with this stuff, and DDoS attacks happen to the DNS sites that host streams from all of these types of services. They seem to be a low-end shop in that perspective. The other sites limit who can subscribe as well, and SA will take anyone so during peak times their streams are impacted with buffering. I'd hold there until you can get into a registration window for one of the other sites (I use StreamTVNow). SS just opened a new site (set of servers) that is taking customers, it's mystreams.tv and will cap registrations once they hit whatever their number is to ward off overselling and buffering. Free month if you pay via BTC, signup instructions here: https://obscuredfiles.com/?file=0ecTzYj4I couldn't be happier with Sports Access SE. It's about $11 a month but I've had every NBA, NFL, MLB and PPV + tons of NCAA and Euro sports of all kinds in hd 24-7 for three months now. The price is nothing considering I use it for about 90% of my television viewing.
Thanks. The ddos attacks in early September lasted just under a week. The guy on Twitter and whoever answered onsite for customer service was professional and gave everyone a free month. I have had no buffering. I watch sports constantly. Sometimes three streams at once. NO complaints since early September and every PPV has been flawless. I had a guest today comment on the great picture(s). He didn't believe I was streaming. They claim to be fully fortified against future attacks and the result is you have to access two new pages before you can stream. I like it. But if it is what you say, I will try to get better. Like many my biggest issue when I cut the cable was sports. Now I have more than I have ever had. I'm on an annual payment that is up on Black Friday + a free month so good til late December, BUT I enjoy this so much I'll trust you here and get on that signup list.I had them, they're good but flawed. So that's a file download page. Just download and follow instructions?
Yep all the instructions are in the zip file hosted there. Should be a PDF.So that's a file download page. Just download and follow instructions?
I had SA for about a year and they might have gotten better about customer support, but they were downright nasty to people on Twitter in the past when streams would go down. They do oversell so that's a risk to the streams. The SS re-sellers like the one I linked manage this via subscriber limits, SA will take anyone, the year-long sales are a huge red flag for that, and I read that as they're trying to re-coup on lost customers to the DDoS attacks, or else why break their own tradition of hosting the sale on Black Friday once and only once a year? The SS re-sellers like the linked one also use a separate Kodi app, which is awesome. SA has their own because they simply re-sell and aren't a part of the SS model, with their own support. It'd be worth getting a month just to try it out and have an account for whenever you want to re-up at a later date, because there tends to be long dormant times where the SS sites don't take people on.Thanks. I have this one that I got for $65. I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to load Kodi and modify the box so I went with a preloaded one. Had I looked at "how to" videos before buying I would have bought one that isn't preloaded. I have no complaints with this box. Works very well and I don't experience any lag when viewing movies. My only reason for commenting that I'd get another is because I would want a blank canvas.Yeah, I've read about the controllers. Do you have an android box, if so which one?
i know what hardware specs I'd like to have but can't decide which box there are so many and they have different functionalities

I did this last week with an old Firestick.joker said:I have a Firestick that likely needs the Kodi and/or Titanium updated, as it's been six months since it was installed. Is there a link in this thread that shows me how to uninstall/reinstall or whatever steps I should take so I can get a brand new install? I only want the bare minimum like some have said in here - Kodi, Titanium, and whatever I need to find sports and shows/movies. I'm going to get a Fire TV but plan on taking advantage of the two Firesticks that I have and use them for the family. Wife and daughters even asked about it...![]()
Wanted to update. Yet again, I am wrong on this topic. I used the advice above to get in on the signups before they filled. I bought a month even though the service I've been recommending here was good through December. The ufc ppv wiped out my service last night. Well, I opened the streams early so I watched without problem, but many others couldn't get in. Sports Access (mine) is recommending the same as mquinnjr above. The free month for bitcoin is with a 6 month purchase and I just did took them up on it. Fwiw, this service has hbo xs 3, cinemax.... etc. Way more than sports. It was $60 in btc for 7 months. Really cheap, imo, considering I have Redzone on a monitor, Cowboys on a tv, and some NBA on the laptop right now. Thanks again. I almost missed out. The signups are still open, but the Twitter suggested not for long.I had them, they're good but flawed. Just catching up on SA Twitter. ..wow. Yeah that's pretty bad, especially on a UFC night. I used SS at a buddies house flawlessly in 720p. Just a no brain-er, SA is decent a lot of the time, but I was sick of them coming up short in instances like this time and time again. oversold and not sophisticated enough to ward off attacks. Enjoy MyStreams!Wanted to update. Yet again, I am wrong on this topic. I used the advice above to get in on the signups before they filled. Well I managed to accidentally turn it off on my Stick before I uninstalled Titanium. I think by messing with the theme. But I cant figure out how to intentionally do it on the FireTV I got for my GF. Annoying AF.I wish I knew. It's at 1000% volume.
So I fixed this. Never turn on 'auto try streams' or whatever it is in the 1Channel config. If the first stream it finds "works" but buffers or is poor quality, you can't stop it from using it other than by disabling that URL resolver. Is there anyway to only accept HD URL resolvers? Seems completely as to the quality I get. I've watched 6 episodes of South Park this season and half have been HD, the rest SD.
Also, if there a good list of resolvers that I should be using and shutting the rest off?
I use something like them for Matricom boxes, but not firestick. They're nice, but the charge does not last very long on them.
This in the app store?eh just downloaded the kodi remote on IOS. will try later. from the reviews it sounds pretty good
I just got that. Rii 2 or something? I havent used it yet though.
If you have a build like Titanium, use SALTS for searching - it stands for something like Search All The Streams or Stream All The Sources.Am I missing something? Is there a way to search through all of your plugins/channels/installations for specific programs/movies? I love the plethora of content titanium and other add-ons give, but searching through everything is a pain in the ###
That's cool with me. I don't like talking to my electronics. You can use the voice control model, but the voice control doesn't work for controlling Kodi - you'll have to use the remote (or an iPhone app, which I find to be much better) for that.
Set up a new account?ive been buying firesticks as Christmas presents but now amazon wont sell me anymore. I guess they limit firesticks per customer. I think I bought around 4 or 5. might have to look into best buy if you want additional ones
I did . they cancelled my order 30 minutes laterSet up a new account?
Set up account, send to office, and use another card? (Buy an Amazon Card?) :JustBeingSneaky:I did . they cancelled my order 30 minutes later
