Sorry, I ain't quite that dumb!I am looking at a blonde haired girl on the beach labelled picture 13/32. Unless, someone is right about the clone theory, that sure as heck looks like Claire. Does anyone else think that it isn't Claire?
Now, if you are talking about this girl LINK, then yes she is new, but that wasn't the link above. I went to the album and clicked on a different picture (20/32).

It is and I don't know why. It seems to me that all the links given go right to a particular picture, but I think people are then going elsewhere and talking about different things or copying/pasting the wrong links. Sorry if I am contributing to the confusion... Regarding the Black Rock, just thinking out loud here so humor me:It seems the general consensus is that this is some old boat, either a slaver or taking prisoners to Australia.Is it at all possible that this ship is more recent than that. Granted the style makes it appear to be something from the past, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it is. Is there a link to the damn thing?To recap what we know about the ship:1. Dynamite was unstable2. Some people were shackled inside - could the skeletons really be Rousseau's old team? She said that the Black Rock is where things started to go bad for them.3. Locke said it appeared to be a mining ship (HTF does he really know?)4. It seems to be some distance from shore5. However, none of the wood was rotten, if that boat had been out there for 100+ years, in that jungle, there shouldn't be that much left of itAny other random thoughts?

The links you put in are messed up and don't work for me (it looks like there is a "..." in the middle of the URL) and I think that this is a general issue that people are having. PC Load Letter did something smart and found the properties of the images to get their direct URLs. This is the new blonde girl that PC Load Letter and I both mentioned who she was and what shows she was on before and included links to her IMDB.com page: NEW GIRL
This was the initial picture that I think is Shannon that was posted above as a new girl and thus started my confusion: SHANNON
And, just for fun, here is another picture that appears to be a fourth blonde haired girl which may or may not be the girl on the boat. It was too hard to see that girl on the boat, so this one could just be an extra, like the 30+ people that we still haven't met from the original survivors: OTHER BLONDE
Again, sorry for creating confusion, but that wasn't my aim. The links I clicked on didn't seem to match the discussion points and thus I got confused and then tried to post what I believed, and still believe to be, the correct URLs.
Just an FYI, but on the lost-media.com site, once you navigate to a picture and click on it (making it pop-up huge), you can right click on that picture and choose Properties and you can copy (make sure to drag all the way to the end) the URL for just the picture and bypass the rest of the crap that has obivously caused a lot of confusion.
He might just be joking since this photo thing is screwing this thread up. We just need to get to page 31!

That picture clears nothing up for me, but it does confirm that the women on this show are hot.
Locke could be right since dynamite would be used for mining and unlike slave ships that I have read about or seen History Channel type shows, it appeared that there were only a few prisoners. I thought real slave ships had people crammed inside in awful conditions, so there would have been a lot more shackled skeletons. I could see a mining ship from the same period having a few slaves on board to do the work once they got to where they were going.It definitely appeared that the ship was in decent condition, but as for the rot, didn't Kate fall through the floor and then find the dynamite? I can't remember if I am thinking of something else like the effing Goonies or something stupid like that.
Thanks. I was starting to pull my hair out for a bit there! I have worked for quite a few years with web applications, so I could even tell from the parameters in the URL as to which album and which picture was being shown.Anyway, I won't mention blonde girls in pictures ever again until we get past episode 4. Based on the lost-media site, their pictures only go for episodes 1, 3, and 4. They have nothing past that, yet.Great work bugs.

good point. Since they are from old episode they are fair game. When I first looked, I thought it may be a newer part of Claire's flashback to be revealed in upcoming weeks. So... the painting and murals are very close in color and shape. Unless the writers are very very sloppy, there must be some connection (not necessarily saying Claire's baby's father was actually in the hole or Desmond himself).
ETA: that is one part of the bigger story that has been overlooked in the past 1/2 season. Claire's baby and the psychic.

Nice find. It either means that the same set artist did those paintings and the mural or that Claire's baby's father was at one time down the hatch.Oh, and I know you didn't mean that he was Desmond because it is pretty clear that they aren't the same guy.
IMHO, I think you found an interesting similarity, but it is probably due to the fact that it was probably the same guy on the set that did both the mural and the paintings. Since Claire was pregnant (not sure how many months) in that episode and gave birth on the island, it was probably only 5-6 months in between which is probably not enough time for Claire's boyfriend to get onto the island and go crazy enough to do all those drawings and I don't think he ever had any previous connection to the island.
