That was a pretty good season premiere. :banned:
Yup. The only part that bothered me was that the FBI guy caught on too quick. I could see him figuring out that the tat was important, but out of all the information in it he was able to pick out the right 3 words to lead him to the grave site. And I'm glad the chick got capped. :bye:

I can't believe that a vet could sew on a chopped off hand and still have it functioning.

I missed how they got out of the supply store, anyone with a quick recap of what I missed.

No kidding. He grabbed the vet around the neck with the hand that had just been sewn back on. Then he stripped the vet's clothes off and tied him up with rope. Ever try to tie a knot one-handed? :wall:

They walked out the back door.

RE: Veronica - Didnt see that coming.
Killing her off gives them a chance to keep extending the series I guess. But I was surprised too.Little disapointed in episode 2, the hand thing ruined my suspension of disbelief. Also, the FBI agent is waaay too quick to catch everything.

Yup. The vet should have tried to grab that newly sewn on hand instead of trying to grab something to hit him with...Teabag woulda crumbled like a cookie from the pain.Michael and Lincoln just casually walk to the garage where the car is, no cops to be seen anywhere...They would have never got out of that hardware store without that place CRAWLING with cops. Then they stand at the corner of the building and survey the situation before they take off  Youd think the FBI guy wouldnt have been able to tell that was a spray painted water pistol at such close range. Also, they would have never got out of that building, and even if they did those cops would have shot the tires out of the vehicle....and any cop car within a mile radius would have had them dead to rights in a matter of 30 seconds."on the 3rd, watch out for Otis right". No way the kid OR the FBI guy would pick up on that. This show is starting to suck.

I've only seen two episodes of this show. Tonight and last week. People raved so I thought I'd check it out.

This show sucks.

I am kind of excited that there is now a suicidal madman trying to hunt them down. Every good show needs one of those.

I know they need the kid in custody to continue the story line but come on.

You have a chance to take your kid with you and you DON'T shot the M'fer that is holding him?? :loco:

OK, you don't want a Real murder charge worked in, but shoot the agent in the foot, grab your kid and run.

Who do you think dies in the car?
Is this between Lincoln and Michael ?
No.. it's out of all the escapers.
I don't think anybody important dies. It's a setup of some sort to make it look like something happened on accident when it was all planned...you could even hear the cop say something like "he went thru all that, just to end up driving the car off a cliff"

process of elimination time:Lincoln - he has to live or they lose the president storyline. He's as safe as can be. Michael - New main character. He's pretty safe. Teabag - Newly re-attached arm, out in search of the $$$, He's got to live at least until a confrontation with the rest of the inmates. Abruzzi - The "Maybe we'll see eachother again" foreshadow was a little cheezy, but it means there's more in store for the mob boss.Tweener - Also shown to be on the road to the money. My guess is him and Teabag get there first. Haywire - Hasn't been shown since the escape. They won't let him die in the first sight of him since they left the prison. That leaves Franklin and Sucre. Between the two I'd bet on Sucre because he's a more sympathetic and less interesting character. They probably want to show the trainwreck when its shown that Franklin wasn't actually in Iraq.Abruzzi -

I don't know... I heard that 3 main characters die with in the first few episodes. One down, two to go.

I also think the Vet isn't dead... They'll say he didn't give t-bag a lethal injection, instead is was some type of anisthetic that would knock him out and make him appear dead.

Yeah, because there was nothing outrageous about the entire prison escape last season. :loco: Seriously, sometimes you just have to go with it. No point in ruining it for yourself.

Really? I thought that that clue was too obvious. Sorry man, but if you don't equate Otis to Elevators, then you out to get out more or you spend way too much time in the Frank Gore bandwagon. ;) The only things that bothered me last night were the hand and not shooting the FBI guy. Even if they didn't shoot him a warning shot would have been enough to get him to let go and sit in the corner.

Oh well, if the FBI agent didn't realize everything right away, this would be a boring show and they would be sitting in Utah with the money. Prison Break is on the same night as 24, so throw the realism out the window and be entertained.

Good episode except for the ending there with Bellick knowing the plan. The original plan was to catch a plane to Mexico, there's no way that guy who didn't make it know and tell Bellick that PLAN B was they were gonna fake their death. I think all that guy would know is we're escaping and getting on a plane to Mexico and also he know about the money in Utah in this case if he told Bellick this then it would have been smart of Bellick just to go to Utah and get the 5 Mil and forget about the 400,000 if they catch the brothers.

yea the show is already taking turn for the worse.....the bellick sthick and the fact that sucre can be pulled over and just disappear from the arresting officer without making a sound. Those doors sure are quiet!maybe a little too fickle on my viewing. However they do have the female audiance to go along with the many male viewers watching. My girlfriend and her friend "were on the edge of her seat" last night watching the two brothers try to escape. Her: "I am so nervous, I think they are going to get caught......" :wall:

I am still watching this show, but the whole reattachment of the hand was quite a "Jump the Shark" moment.

Bellick didn't get the new plan from the fat kid. He followed the Green Card girl (Michael's "wife"), who he tracked down last season after she delivered the credit card (?) to Michael in prison. She was his only lead so it makes sense he'd follow her. And she led him right to them.

Maybe, but the one ex-guard asks Billick "did he sing?" and Billick says "Like a canary" (or whatever), and the next time we see him is seeing Michael, Link and the girl...It kinda made it seem like he got the info from fatty, which is impossible....Maybe next episode we'll get a flashback as to how he found them.

Anyone else thinking the show, while still enjoyable and entertaining, has gotten a bit ridiculous so far this season ?

1) This lead detective is able to piece things together in a matter of moments and figure out, on a few seperate occasions already, where the inmates are.

2) The black guy and mexican guy track down Michael and Lincoln in the very garage where the money is. I have to assume that they once they got to the town they realized the subdivision had been built over the money, but they knew exactly where to look as well. The only way Michael knew was because of the age of the trees. I'm thinking these guys weren't as smart.

3) The skank at the house spends 1/2 the show flirting with crazy one-armed dude. I know that woman like this probably do exist, but.....

4) Every person who seems to have any sort of encounter with any of the inmates knows who they are after a matter of moments. We have people in this country who couldn't tell you who the President is, but yet they all watch the news, especially in some dinky town in Utah ?

- I realize that breaking out of jail, and a guy with the prison plan tatooed to his body is probably just as ridiculous as some of my points, and I do still think the show is as good as it gets, just noticiing how crazy this 2nd season has been.

As opposed to last season?
Last season, as I mentioned, was also ridiculous.
I agree with you, not on last season. Of course, the first season was a stretch, but it was much more focused and if you just watched it to be entertained, it was a good show. It was much more suspensful that this year. This season has been to all over the place. Sometimes the plan is working other times they are just making it up as they go along. The thing that has bothered me the most has been the FBI guy. He has been way too good at figuring things out. Hey, we need to catch them in an hour, call Bob the diver and have him check the river. 5 minutes later, hey Bob found a hard drive and while we couldn't recover everything in 3.5 seconds we happened to find a few stories about DB Cooper and an exact trail to where they would be.The whole drug thing with the FBI guy is to try and make him seem not so super-human, but it is getting silly. One second after he finds out they might be in that small town, he is all of a sudden right there picking up the young kid.I will still watch, but I liked the whole planning thing/figuring out other ways to escape when they hit issues of last season much better than the cat and mouse thing that is going on now.

And what was up with Scofield losing his #### in the car last episode? The guy was under way more pressure in prison and always kept his calm. Now they've escaped and he freaks out because he can't find the money?

I agree with all the above... this season is much more 'farfetched'. I'm still watching it on a weekly basis, but I have trouble seeing how they'll get a whole season out of this.

with regard to #2 the one guy was in the army and found coordinates for the double K ranch on the net. With regards to tonight's episode is  I did not see that coming. Looks like a few weeks of reruns though.
