Given he just jobbed to Gunther last week, thought had no chance. I'd still be surprised if he actually main evented Mania even if getting biggest reactions right now

He'll wrestle Gunther. Rhodes/Uso makes no sense
I don't think Jey makes it to Mania facing either Gunther or Cody in main event

He certainly deserves it with reactions he's getting but still think we'll see Rock or Cena there somehow

Saw someone mention Rock coming in at 31 and winning this

Final Boss 💪
So I told my son, the Rock is coming in at 30. Totally forgot about Logan Paul. That was a disappointment :)

Paul actually does pretty well in there. He's got tons of natural heat levels. Same for Dom, he is just killing it as a heel. Some of his commentary on these WWE clips are just gold. On Punk's Rumble last year he said "Oh WOW, a 47 year old man hurts himself after doing something he hasn't done for a decade. What a shocker!" :D

At the final 3 I told my son his man (Cena) was going to WrestleMania, even calling it would be an attitude adjustment from the apron. Nice swerve. I like Jey and am glad they are rewarding him. He's certainly one of the more over stars. Don't really think he's world champ material, but happy for him nonetheless.

I’m just a casual. Basically just watch the rumble and WM. Isn’t Cody pretty much known as the real champ? Isn’t the title Gunther has not as important?
Yes and no. Gunther really has done a good job making a basically made up title legitimate, but rhodes is the one most people think of as champion. Gunther is very, very good thought. Dude looks like a legitimate killer in the ring. He's very much a throwback in that regard.

Had me wondering if they would really try to get Cena to carry a main event at this age.

Do they have Jey do a title shot or do a main event with his brother thing they've teased in the past?

Yea I’ve seen him. Definitely reminds me of somebody from my youth (80s). Just saying though if you ask a causal who the champ is they are going to say Cody. Would seem cheap to me to say you’re going to the main event and then fight somebody else. But what do I know. Truly nothing about this lol but that was a fun night.

I think they'll go with Cena to attempt to break the world title record vs Cody. If not Mania, at some point this year vs champ

I'll believe it when I see it with Jey main eventing Mania this year

Pretty sure they will have Jey fight Gunther, they've been building that storyline for awhile.

I have no idea what the plans for WM are. The Rock is going to want to be involved, not sure if he comes in at some point to challenge Roman for the Head of the Table and whether that would be a main event of the first night. Would seem crappy to not have both titles be the main event of each night. I don't think they are going to give Cena the title so he breaks the tie with officially recognized titles with Flair (of course Flair claims the real number is 21).

I feel like a Cody heel turn is coming. The way he was standing over KO was them trying to sell it. A portion of the fanbase is ready to turn anyway. Maybe Cena wins MITB, Cody does a pseudo heel turn at Mania, and Cena cashes in for the win.

Almost no interest in Jey vs Gunther. Terrible main event if that's how it plays out.
Sure, he is over. But over shouldn't equal win. So many better options.

Looks like Roman vs Rollins. Perhaps Punk gets thrown in.

Wonder if WWE reconsidering Charlotte. Didn't get the reaction, looks like she is wearing a diaper and she is wearing a knee brace.
Not to mention Bliss had the biggest pop of the night and it wasn't really close. Love the Fiend easter eggs she had. Awesome.

Charlotte has go away heat.

Has for years. No matter how many times they try to bring her back. Face/Heel. Doesn't matter.

Just brutal to listen to.
Appears HHH and others feel she has "good" heat when, in reality, I think people have been tired of her for a while.
Both her and Sasha Banks are BRUTAL at cutting promos.

WWE did a good job hiding it with Banks. But listening to her *try* to cut a promo in A&W, you'd think she was in the 1st day of promo class. If they're that bad, just have them work in the ring where they're fine. Countless times Charlotte has gotten clearly rattled by crowds just booing her (and it's not a "Dominic" reaction....it's literally go away heat)

WWE is in a good spot with their women's division when all of Charlotte/Lynch/Banks/Bayley are now replaceable / unnoticed when they're gone

Ripley and Belair (when they get her off the tag team nonsense) surpassed the aforementioned 4 long ago. Stratton has too IMO but I'm sure that's debatable given the little time she's been there.

@Craig_MiamiFL I'll give you Ripley. I was at both Mae Young Classics to watch the rise of Ripley. She is the best that division has produced. If they don't fumble her like they have the majority of Joshi, Stardom, and frankly every NJPW talent, Guilia could be the biggest women's WWE star ever. She is absolutely incredible in-ring, but I know with WWE promos carry all the weight. I'd love to see her main roster call-up be with Paul Heyman doing all the talking.
