Rumor is Drew McIntyre contract ends early summer and is going to AEW. Sarya vs Hayter on the women's side. Also when WWE was there for Royal Rumble they split the venue. Plus they got numerious NJPW stars from England they can use

Tony is the booker for the fans. If you want soap opera drama and larger then life character Vince is your guy. TK and AEW book differently. He books to a degree similar to how Japan would and if you haven't seen Japan's ways or seen them and don't like them you won't like AEW. I don't care for over the top storylines but I also don't want your company to disregard history of wrestlers like WWE did for yrs in booking storylines. The KO/Sammy storyline has been perfect. There's been some wrestlers in WWE past no longer there teaming with guys who they were bitter rivals with on the Indies. Those of us who knew about this well it made zero sense to us. When they did do a rivalry in WWE it was pretty diluted.
I think TK needs to figure out a good mix of story telling and characters. I could see TK doing a Zero Hour/buy in card with some local talent wrestling as well to get on the good side of UK. Also UK 18-35 Dom on Brittish TV is drawing over 2M viewers each week on AEW if I read that righting the last 2 yrsand keeps growing.

Meh. When the wrestling doesn't make sense it all kinda falls apart. There are only a few performers there that try to put together a well structured match. The rest are only concerned with how to get to the next high spot. I feel terrible for Dante Martin. These guys are so damn talented, but these high spots they all want to do are going to shorten careers far more than a wrestler in WWE would have to deal with.
I'm coming to the conclusion that AEW isn't of me. The brand of wrestling I like is not what TK wants to show. And that's OK, it can't be for everyone.
It's funny I had a random thought night one during the Rollins Paul match, that green performers would be far better served going to WWE so they could learn how to actually put together and wrestle a match. HHH was in charge and the product was really humming. You have a ton of talented vets to work with and teach in the ring. Where else can you go and get put over by a John Cena??
Then Sunday and Monday happened so I guess that thought is ruined

I did one better got him to block me. I called him out awhile ago when he and his site made false claims on Becky lynch's contract. He claimed it wasn't I'm I told him the person works for you, it's on your site you got final say so yes you are responsible. Becky also took to twitter when a fan asked and linked Fightful's report on her and called it ********. Last year I tweeted someone who was complaining about SRS and told them what a baby he is. he unblocked me just to send me a DM because his little marks ran to him about my tweet and then blocked me again.
Last year I found his fake name Facebook account after he was on a wrestling page site for someone else after there was a report he was wrong on or someone misquoted. Whatever it was he created a whole bunch of drama and even DM'd on Facebook. I told him I had no time for his childish behavior and blocked him. I told him if he keeps bothering me I'd threaten legal action on him. Haven't heard from him since.
Hes an immature baby. Ask most wrestling talent and promotions what they really think about him off the record and they will. Those who like him he makes sure anyone who goes against him gets blackballed by those promotions. Most think he's really scummy and full of drama but put up with him because they don't want to deal with the ***** fest he'll put online about it. And you are right if he's not in the drama he makes sure he's apart of it someway. He's also a big time virtue signlaer. He always makes everything about himself.
And last few Philly shows Ive seen him at he's hitting on girls old enough to be his daughter. The next time I see this guy in person and he's doing that I'm taking pictures and video and tweeting it out to his wife like "hey this is what your husband does when he's on a ""business trip"". He hits on young girls." Was hitting on Sky Blue who's like 21-22 and you could tell by her body language she was looking for an excuse to get away from the guy.

SRS is a liar constantly. He constantly deletes **** on his website hoping fans don't give him receipts for being wrong but there's a cult group of people that go balls deep for the guy. He also has his little minions attack the IWC who don't agree with him. I should know I was a victim to it about 2 times before I threatened legal action on the dude if he didn't stop bothering me. He ran away with his tail between his legs. More and more wrestlers are calling him out. I get Meltzer isn't for everyone but I think people are upset he doesn't kiss WWEs *** and why would he at this point? Back in the attitude era rutlhless aggression era till WWE became more Main stream with SI he was the guy WWE fed info and dirt to constantly. Triple H even admitted that. It was then Justin Barasso before Ryan Satin and now it's Ariel Helwani.
I'd listen to Meltzer before a lot of these Wannabes these days including Fake "liberal" Jim Cornette. The dude is as out of touch with what fans want as Vince is. I get some people don't like his journalism but whatever thats their opinion. Wade Keller is probably one of the other others Id trust though. Has Meltzer gotten stuff wrong in the past few yrs? Sure but so has everyone else. Christ so many take WRESTLEVOTES as gospel for yrs then they found out who it was or the leaker telling the account info. It went on a losing streak of long info for 6 months. WWE now uses them as their lap dog. The funny part is they don't even realize they were used by WWE. Bischoff is decent for stories. Hell if Heyman had a podcast and it was just on a Patreon I'd buy it. I would take anything Bruce Prichard says with a grain of salt. SRS has also copied others reports and didn't given them credit for sourced info either.
And Meltzer is really good for info/history on wrestling in general. You could ask him why X happened in Japan in 93 and or why did WCW book this show here and not at this venue at the time. He usually will have an answer or say I'm not sure but IMHO this is what happened. I'm not claiming the dude is some god but he's way better then a lot of these guys pretending to be wrestling journalist who just write clickbait constantly and report the same **** behind the paywall as another site posted for free. Meltzer doesn't go after his critiques but SRS constantly feels the need to defend himself and his site. Dressing as an American law enforcement officer led to Hunsperger finding himself in hot water, he has claimed. Taking to TikTok, Hunsperger revealed that he attended WrestleMania 39 night one without any problems, but as he walked through the gates into SoFi Stadium on night two, a security guard got in his face and told him he couldn't enter the venue because he was wearing a Georgia sheriff's department patch.
Hunsperger says he removed the patch, and handed over his foam night stick to another security guard, but it wasn’t good enough, as he the security guard remained aggressive and up in his face, all while other security guards and WWE staff were telling the guard it was fine for him to enter the stadium, now that he had removed the official Georgia Police Sheriffs badge.
Hunsperger said several others tried telling the guard he was just cosplaying, but the guard had no idea who Big Boss Man was. Hunsperger removed his police top, and another fan handed him a WWE shirt to put on. He circled the line and came back, with the security guard in question letting him into the event without incident

I still have a ton of mine from the 80s. A full banker's box of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Inside Wrestling, The Wrestler, Wrestling '85 (I think). This was a huge way for my Mom to get wins over my Dad when I would visit her on the weekends. I had no idea that we had no money, but we would have enough to go to the grocery store for Gatorade, chips and salsa and any new wrestling mags on the rack. I bet I reread those mags 100s of times each. Only way you knew about territories that you didn't get on TV.
Need to pull those out of storage.

As someone who barely watches other than the "big" PPV's and a couple Raws here and there, the A & E Legends and Rivals stuff has been fun. Taker/RKO tonight was really good. I was watching 0% back then, so great to see the 1.5 year story (?) told in an hour. And Orton's feelings for Taker were real and appreciated.
