Yes the US beat Canada 2-1 that year (2007) in the semis. Then the US beat Mexico in the final to advance to the Confederations Cup in 2009.

Direct Tv has both a SD and a HD feed for all the games today. The HD feed for the Montreal Vancouver game is flawless.
I know DTV has HD, wish cable did too
It's like this on all of the sports packages. DTV has all games in HD on NBA League Pass whereas Time Warner only has one HD station, and they don't put any kind of thought into which game to put on the HD channel. It's usually just the first game of the night. It's so frustrating.
They won't be IMO. They are a much better side than last year and Montreal is likely to struggle.

They looked terrible tonight. I don't know how many times Najar looked great attacking only to play a horrible cross in. KC is going to be tough this year. Kamara was a beast in the second half.

With approx. 10 games left, it could come down to a good three-way race for two Champions League spots - among Spurs, Gunners and Chelsea. Chelsea and Spurs are still alive in the FA Cup, but that probably won't spread them too terribly thin (and Chelsea still has an outside shot at advancing in the CL). United and City are also going down to the wire for the title, and there will likely be some huge games in the relegation zone down the stretch. Who needs playoffs?
I think the key is to have as many teams involved in important games as possible in the final 3rd of the season for any sport to maintain maximum interest.Europe does this with a mixture of promotion/relegation and qualifying for Europe.In the US we do it with a combination of making the playoffs and seeing where teams end up in the draft.Not sure one system is better than the other, but both do their jobs, some years better than others.

I agree, you can't really tell the two are seperated. I think White is the best announcer in the country for the sport. I like him more than Darke. NBC will be showing 4 USMNT games per year for the next three years.

I was just going to say that while Shea's looks awful, it's clearly intentional. Aguadelo looks like he wandered in front of a buzz saw.
Not sure if you watched the U23 game but picture that mess on Agudelo's head today with some sort of yellow coloring.
