That kind of thing happens to a team that's pressing late in the game. The QPR back line didn't communicate well and the midfielders are tired and not tracking back.Edit: Actually, that was just Ferdinand screwing up. Kane was right on his shoulder and he fell asleep.Maybe the offside trap not a good idea?
The second penalty call was never going to happen. The earlier one on Lloris was probably a penalty.bull####ing####!![]()
The one on LLoris was actually very hard to see - I think the ref is probably looking at his outstretched arms, and there is no contact - but he did nick him with his foot. The second penalty call was never going to happen. The earlier one on Lloris was probably a penalty.bull####ing####!![]()
Real can't contain Williams on the left right now, but he is not making the right decisions in the final third.C'mon Bilbao!
I'm not watching, but is real generating any offense?Real can't contain Williams on the left right now, but he is not making the right decisions in the final third.C'mon Bilbao!
Yeah, active on both ends. Bale just hit the crossbar from barely across midfield.I'm not watching, but is real generating any offense?Real can't contain Williams on the left right now, but he is not making the right decisions in the final third.C'mon Bilbao!
Not really. Bale had a shot that might have been a pass hit the post but for the most part Bilbao has cut them off outside the box.I'm not watching, but is real generating any offense?Real can't contain Williams on the left right now, but he is not making the right decisions in the final third.C'mon Bilbao!
If you are asking about the table which shows # of nationalities, I am unsure specfically what that means. I do not think it means the number of countries who are represented in their domestic league.I Googled this Seattle blog that says the MLS currently ranks 12th. Looks about right: http://www.sounderatheart.com/2014/6/5/5782894/mls-gains-ground-in-league-rankings
Can only Egyptians play in Egypt's domestic league?
It is the number of national teams represented in the league - so for Egypt, only players for the Egyptian national team played in their league. MLS was represented by players from 9 national teams. If you are asking about the table which shows # of nationalities, I am unsure specfically what that means. For example, the table lists 9 for MLS, but MLS had 57 nationalities represented last year.

That group's points distribution is fun.Canada tied Mesco in u17s, leaving both teams atop their group with 7 points. Canada has already beaten Costa Rica, but has a big game left with Panama (tied with with CR at 6 points).
For me if the lower bowl was filled (~25k I think?) the game had great atmosphere. The usual 15-20k was still OK. But when you got down below 15k it felt pretty empty.Sebowski said:DC game was lots of fun. I spent most of the time partying, but from what I saw it was a pretty sloppy game. Hell of a time though. I had a couple goosebumps moments at ol' RFK. As a Skins fan there was a little bit of magic pulling into that lot, tailgating there, and being in that stadium. The supporters were top notch. Really great fans and super friendly. They have 4 different groups spreading mostly from one corner, across the middle, and into the near corner with a small break in the sections for some non-group tickets. Gives the whole thing a different feeling there. Something they will probably lose in the new place. That stadium is too big for them though. Forrest for the trees and all, it was a great atmosphere being in the thick of it, but when I took a second to really look around, and looking back at some pictures now, it really was pretty empty. But, like I said, it didn't feel like it in the crowd.
Switched off Rangers-Tottenham at 0-2 and over to Ipswich-Brentford. I wish I could see more of that division's games. The Championship table looks great these days, with 4 teams tied at the top and 3 more right behind them. With the new tv deal, promotion is a matter of tens or potentially hundreds of millions for a club.

There you are. Sitting behind your computer screen. Nice, warm and safe. How about you join me at Loftus Road in April. We'll see how smart you are then, boyo. You could always watch QPR.Switched off Rangers-Tottenham at 0-2 and over to Ipswich-Brentford. Rob, I know you said you don't go to games any more but could you speculate anyway on how you feel the new stadium will affect the demographic and general size makeup of the crowds? For me if the lower bowl was filled (~25k I think?) the game had great atmosphere. The games where some of the upper bowl was filled (30k+) were memorable. And 57,000 for the the 97 Final, all wearing black in a 40-degree winter rain, is on my short list of best sports experiences.
To be honest, I'm not sure I've ever been to the area south of National Park in all my years living here. And my impression of that area is probably colored by where my sister lived when I first moved here in 1989 -- when you wouldn't walk around down there after dark for any reason.Rob, I know you said you don't go to games any more but could you speculate anyway on how you feel the new stadium will affect the demographic and general size makeup of the crowds? For me if the lower bowl was filled (~25k I think?) the game had great atmosphere. I don't know anything about the location of the new stadium besides what I see on mocked up google maps but it seems like it is in a fairly good spot.
What service do you have? Some cable and sat providers give you access to every EPL game so you don't need to just watch what is on NBCSN if you don't want to.I recently subscribed to BEIN Sports just so I could see some League Championship games. Sometimes the Premier League just leaves me a little cold, and I get kind of sick of having Man City and ManU shoved down my throat so many weeks.
