What does fubotv offer? May consider it when i leave Sling.
Bein and Gol TV are the main live channels. Sport Tv and a few others are on there. Seems they have most of the La Liga, Bundes, and Serie A games. Stream and recorded. I watched a bit of the Bayern game and the stream was decent. El Clasico stream was good.

Bein alone is around $15/month on directv. Worth it just to get that.

Rbny beat some team from VA or MD. Sam w another nice goal.

Now I get to watch the Quakes take one sone team from Gary or something ... the Flamers, iirc.

Avaya stadium still totally underwhelming to me. But glad they finally have a home.

Still some tough games for FCB down the stretch, but better up 4 than down. A little alarmed that Barca wasn't able to get a third with so many good breaks, obviously it's not a situation they find themselves in often, but ####### Neymar needs to look up.

How bad is it for Liverpools future that the top four looks very unlikely? Id say it's pretty bad if their rivals use this offseason to load up as many expect.

Id like to think Liverpool will compete for the EPL next year, but they can't pull 20 year olds while their rivals bring in studs. Liverpool needs some firepower.

I know most of you are EPL fans, but the big news out of Italy is that Poe Qui Ying Wangsuo, aka Mr Pink with a consortium of Bee Taechaubol, has purchased a 75% stake of AC Milan - it will not be formally announced until season's end.

There have been rumors of a sale for ages now, but it's got to the boiling point where even Milan's President is basically barely covering the story up anymore

... I pray it's true. Growing up with the Milan of the past, I want to vomit every time I look at the current squad.

Is Berlusconi in jail?

I think because he was over 70, they allowed him to skip jail on the tax fraud and do unpaid public service instead.

I was hoping to wake up on Sunday again today with yesterday being a nightmare <_<
If the teams you root for are going to lose, it might as well be to three goals of that quality.

I found myself kind of rooting for Barca yesterday, which was a bit weird. I've always preferred Real's counter game, but Barca is pretty irresistible now that Suarez is on song. Just the ability to go direct when necessary gives them that "oh ####" potential at any time. And that Suarez goal was ridiculous. What the hell are you supposed to do about that when the guy can kill a 60 yard pass dead and then hit a postage stamp in the corner of the goal?

He created that law before leaving office, to protect himself when he no longer had immunity.

Man is a ruthless genius.

Looks like the Minnesota rumors may be confirmed on Wednesday.

=====================

http://northernpitch.com/_/minnesota-soccer-news/minnesota-soccer/mls-and-minnesota-united-to-hold-press-conference-in-minneapolis-on-wednesday-r92

Since then several unnamed sources have confirmed to Northern Pitch that on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:00 AM local time (CORRECTED), the owners and management of NASL club Minnesota United will stand with Don Garber, the commissioner of Major League Soccer, and tell the assemblage in front of them that United will join MLS as the next expansion team.

What a stressful game, even with Gerrard being sent off. Gerrard probably wishes his first foul on Mata would have been called but then he gets red for stomping Herrera. Anyone see why Herrera saw yellow on that? He never touched stevie.

Jones could have seen red but also so could have Balotelli and Skrtl. Balotelli for the intentional cleats down jones' calf with a finger pointing in his face, then grabbing Smallings leg after their tangle up. Smartly the fans held him back. Skrtl for the stomp on de Gea.

Not sure why anyone thinks Rooney deserved anything. Skrtl pushed him over and into the keeper.

Nice goal by Sturridge and Mata was amazing. Rooney got stoned by Mignolet on the PK. Nice read/save.

WTF was ADM doing catching the ball in bounds? Is he THAT out of sorts?

Even with 10 men, Pool looked dangerous and like they could sneak one in. Not sure why you count them out of top 4.

United remaining: Villa (h), City (h), Chelsea (a), Everton (a), West Brom (h), Palace (a), Arsenal (h), Hull (a)

Liverpool remaining: Arsenal (a), Blackburn (a), Newcastle (h), Hull (a), WBA (a), QPR (h), Chelsea (a), Palace (h), Stoke (a)

United with Chelsea, City and Arsenal

Pool with Arsenal and Chelsea

Rooney should have received a yellow, he may have been pushed into Mignolet but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that he decided to take a kick at the keepers stomach from the ground, stupid.

I think the yellow on Herrara was fro sliding in recklessly.

Not sure what happened with Liverpool in the first half. It looked like they were caught by surprise or sleeping... just seemed flat on the TV screen (no 2d puns please). did united roll out a different formation than usual? sooo strange to see united first to the ball and second balls when Liverpool should have had some advantage there.

If you believe that's what happened, then he gets a red. An intentional kick out is a red. It's not a discretionary thing.

I didn't pay a ton of attention to the replay. I found it inconclusive when I saw it. In any case, in real time, it just looked like Rooney got caught up with Mignolet, while Gerrard's stamp was pretty clear in real time.

I didn't see him do that- I did see his foot go into Mignolet, but it didn't seem intentional the one time I saw it. anybody have a video?

Liverpool have had slow first halves often this season, not sure what gives, but United took full advantage of that. Lallana and Coutinho didn't both need to be so high up the field leaving Allen and Henderson to cover so much area. Lallana especially should have sat way deeper, especially to start when Moreno was having problems. It was Moreno's worst game since his debut, terrible.

The only positive

lol.

he actually DID have a noticeably good game. IIRC, most of United's attacks came down the other flank, no?

both goals were on the left-ish side...especially the first one. But both were on Moreno(not so much the second, because it's just a damn good goal) and he lost Mata both times.

So, did that really look intentional? If it was, I agree straight red, but I'm not quite sure it was and could see arguments both ways. Certainly live it looked like nothing on Gerrard's part.
Absolutely intentional.
Stevie G acknowledged it in the post game comments.
Whoa. He said he did it?
I think he acknowledged it was intentional in the post game interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8hvHtPjC2Q

A yellow for recklessly sliding with no contact? interesting.

Same formation (and lineup coincidentally) as they used vs Spurs. 4-2-3-1 essentially with Herrera moving it to a 4-1-4-1 at times. Mata was a huge difference maker in both games and looked worlds better then ADM has. As much as I hate to say it, Fellani has looked good in the first half of both games playing in behind Rooney. He looked bad in the 2nd vs Spurs and although he didnt look as good in the 2nd vs Liverpool he did actually win a ton of headers in the defensive half and in the United box. Carrick and Herrera running the MF playing through Mata and Fellaini was nice. They looked for the forward pass more then in games past and took it at Pool.

Rooney up top also opens the MF for more creative players and he is more active then RVP and Falcao as a striker. They may have found their flow.

I wasnt sure why Sterling was playing wing back. He never had any impact on the game going forward, seemed to be stuck in the defensive side to often.

Mata's movement hurt Moreno. The first goal Moreno got caught looking at Valencia and let Mata run in behind. The 2nd, he just didnt track back after Mata passed to ADM and ran through for the return. Moreno got caught watching.

Atkinson didn't have the best game both ways ...that wasn't even a foul

I thought the ref did fine.

but yeah, I didn't really see a foul there either. but if you go sliding in not near the ball- even without contact- the refs are going to see it and sometimes call it.

United have two of those games at home, a 5-point lead, and a +13 goal differential. They are a much better team now than they were at the beginning of the season. They will not be competing for titles anytime soon, but they are going to be very difficult to catch for top-4.

He did have some head scratchers and a couple big decisions to make, but overall it wasnt as bad as some (Like sending off the wrong player).

True, they are finding form after winning without it so hopefully it keeps going. Arent in the title race this year but if this continues they will be next year.

8 games to go. 5 up on Liverpool, 6 on Tottenham and Southampton. 1 behind Arsenal, 2 behind City. 8 plus a game behind Chelsea

LFC will also be hurt by the Stevie G suspension.
