***Official "Space Blanket" for Better Call Saul*** (6 Viewers)

I cannot wait. Gus coming back this season. I was nervous about this spin off but they struck gold.

What's great about this is they can go past Walter White... make it not only a prequel but a sequel of some sorts as well.

Haven't been this excited about a show returning in a long time.

Side note: I have to find a way to get Chris Hardwick's agent to represent me.  An estimated net worth of $10 million for doing stuff like 'Talking Saul'?  Sign me up.

He also has a half hour show on Comedy Central called @midnight

End of season two Mike sets out to shoot Hector but is stopped and received a message (probably from Gus). Remind me why he (and nacho) were out to kill him.

I can't find a good season 2 recap.  I don't want to read in here before I watch tonight's episode so could someone PM me if they know of a good one?

really bad episode.   I would rather have watched him work at cinnabon for an hour.
Did I miss something?

Here's what they gave us after waiting 2 years:

- Chuck told Howard about Jimmys confession. Won't hold up in court. Chuck has another idea (cliffhanger).

- Kim has her hands full with Messa Verda and now Elder Law.

- Jimmy ... mildly busted for the military base scheme. I got nothin else.

- Mike is now trailing the guy that was trailing him. Ah HA! Now we'll know who put the note on his windshield. They're finally gonna give us something in this episode. Nope, cliffhanger.

Very unsatisfying episode after such a loooonng wait.

That recording Chuck the #### made will be the final straw that causes Jimmy to become Saul ...with all the players (gustavo and the gang) falling into place its gotta happen soon

So gus's guy just switched the caps each time instead of replacing the battery?  What was the deal with the radio?

I think we are initiallt seeing kim start to wilt under the pressure and tjats going to be her downfall and exit off the show.

I think chuck set up esrnesto knowing he would tell jimmy who in turn would try and get the tape by breaking and entering.

I doubt any air force capt would give two ishes about the commercial.

Mike's car scene was pretty funny

The radio was to drain that battery so the bad guys could come and replace it?

Ernesto was the other idea
Correct.  I think he is setting him up for bulgary or theft.  Once Jimmy knows a tape exists, he will need to break into Chuck's house to get it.

Felony on his record, he is hoping he is disbarred.  Evil thing to do, but Jimmy made his bed on this one, Chuck is not one to trust and Jimmy does trust him.

Toooo slooooooow

I think you missed the subtle, yet inordinate, amount of emphasis put on the pending arrival of Gus Fring.  As a prequel it was fascinating how the writers made use of all the emotion tied to a character that isn't even there yet.

Loved all the scenes with Mike.  Also enjoyed the opening Cinnabon/mall montage.  I could really care less about the legal/lawyer stuff.  Bring on Fring!

Saul working at Cinnabon seems really stupid to me.  If he wants to lay low why not take a job where he is not in the public eye constantly?   He runs the risk of someone from the past recognizing him right?  I am sure that is coming.

The radio drained the battery on the planted transmitter. The guys switched it out because it's a faster job. Take the old cap, put in the new cap, and go. No fiddling around exposed on the street. (Plus, maybe the transmitter has to be "paired" with the receiver, so, once the battery is drained the receiver "forgets" it, and would cost more time re-pairing it with the device. This way they can come in with a new cap and be all set right away.)
So did Mike buy an identical device and install it in place of Gus's device in hopes they would just take the old one so he could track where it went?
