***Official "Space Blanket" for Better Call Saul*** (8 Viewers)

I hope the switch to Saul isn't the result of some compromise about admitting what he did to Chuck.  I don't want it to be a thing where Chuck says you can't use the name McGill any longer blah blah blah.  I guess I'm hoping that the switch to Saul is more dramatic
Yep, I figure that's what's coming. "Jimmy, you have besmirched the family name, so change it or I'm turning you in." Then Jimmy hires Mike to seek and destroy the recording.

I got these numbers from IMDB Saul message board so take them what they are but I have no reason to doubt them.

Yes, I see you want to be right about as much as Chuck.

Yes, trend lightly.

A little too much Chuck but a solid finale to a very good season.

Was that the truck driver that the twins whacked?

I assume Mike could have taken out both Hector and Nacho with that shot, right?

I feel like the producers want the note to be from Gus, but as someone mentioned above, Esposito may not be available for shooting.  If so, they made it plausible for Nacho to have had one of his guys leave the note.  Also explains why he stood between Mike's shot and Hector.

Yeah, I see a trend. You're wrong again.

The numbers haven't fallen week to week as you claimed.

A coworker just said the first letters of the seasons episodes is an anagram for something that proves what people are speculating in here about a certain character being back.

Yeah, I was wondering if he caught a reflection off the scope.

Serious question here....so we all know at some point Jimmy will make the turn into Saul...and we know from Breaking Bad that Saul practices in Albuquerque and is in the public eye with commercials and whatnot.  So it's pretty safe to assume that nothing happens legally to Jimmy....however is there any law that prohibits you from advertising under one name but holding all of your legal credentials in another?  I mean it's pretty far fetched that Jimmy would legally change his name to Saul and then take the bar again...right? :oldunsure:
If he legally changes his name he wouldn't have to retake the bar.

I could see the bar inquiring just why the hell he wanted to do it though and it could be quite a paperwork hassle for cases he's already the attorney of record on. However, assuming he's in good standing, I can't see them prohibiting the change or making him retake the bar.

Well the first part is about your mom but other than that...

I think the show is very slow but it's so well written and acted I still enjoy it. Not the best show out there but I'll keep watching. I kind of think The Americans is a similar, slow but enjoyable.

Loved everything before the finale. Wasn't a "they need to move this quicker" person. Happy to have the slow burn because I'm not in a rush for a show this good to end.

Really hated the finale. Having Jimmy either go down because he fell for such an obvious play by Chuck (even my wife called that well in advance and she's the type who will ask me "who is that?" 14 seconds into a show) or spending another couple episodes next season walking this back through some kind of "I said whatever would help you" just seems wasteful. I'm 100% out on these storylines with Chuck.

Felt good when Saul was telling Chuck that he nor Howard deserved Mesa Verde.  Right on.  It's the truth.  Was Kim's account.  Greedy ####s.
What felt good was the week before when kim railed into chuck in his own home about how he treats his brother jimmy...which evidently fell on deaf ears

Neither Saul nor Mike knew Walter before events that happened in BB. Would be hard to fit him in as more than a background decoration.

Plus he would still be boring "There's mustard on your shirt" chemistry teacher in this show's time.

im guessing they are thinking of a season or 2 down the road

Better call saul`s 1st episodes opening cinnabon scene  started with saul after breaking bad ended

Yeah, but I don't think they're actually going to continue the story past BB's time other than Saul wistfully remembering being Saul.

Mike's stories will be pretty boring in those episodes if they do.

I could 1000% see them doing post-bad Saul, showing how his story wraps up. With the two scenes already briefly showing him going about things afterwards I would kind of be surprised if we didn't get a bit more.

agreed...we don't know what happens to Chuck and Kim and Howard and Ernie etc

We didn't see much of his life outside of White and Pinkman during the BrBa era either

It will be a challenge for the writers to handle the transition from Prequel to Sequel and how much Br Ba era stuff gets shown....

could totally see huell working at the cinnabon...

I'm not sure about Cinnabon...Here's how the series ends

Thanks Rove. Knew how it ended for huell but I just can't see Saul living the cinnabun life for ever being away from the con. Remember something about when he is brought in to be fired by cliff at davis and main he said he knew it wouldn't work. I think he ends up thinking he'd rather be dead than live how he's living now and he'd bring back a person he knew and trusted....just a thought though.
