***Official Survivor S29: San Juan Del Sur*** (1 Viewer)

Dude was a doosh, the little brother seems to be less dooshy but still dooshy. I wonder if big bro getting the boot will teach him a lesson. With his edit last night I could see him potentially going far. The whole car wash thing

They really need to switch up how they edit, after watching Survivor for many years now it was obvious in the first few minutes and reinforced the whole episode that Drew was going home.

During tribal the wife said "I have no clue who is going home."

I just said "Oh, Drew is going home." It was all about the edit, which took all the mystery out what could have been a really good tribal.

Only thing that could have made last night better is when the Immunity Challenge was over and Drew threw the challenge to have the girl from the other tribe who was on exile Island with him yell:

"Good job Drew, you said you'd throw the challenge if you could and you did!!" :stirspot:

Drew. :lmao:

What a dummy... Made for an entertaining episode.
his most embarrassing period in life fully documented

kinda reminds me of the license to ill days for the beastie boys

What a dumb tribe with the rice. Bunch of dummies.

The tribe chose poorly. Should have voted out Baylor or her gold digging mom. Terrible.

What? If you're thinking long term and merge coming soon makes more sense to side with Baylor and Missy. Those two have tie ins with all of the sides on the other tribe. Jon and Jaclyn have options now instead of Kelley and a sour Dale.

Missy is going to use up all the rice. She has to be a terrible cook using that much rice. Is there any wonder she is divorced three times.

#####es be crazy.

Interesting they booted Kelly first. I think that's the smart move but didn't think they would be able to look past booting Dale. Jon and boobs Magee seem like they have a decent head on their shoulders when together.

All that rice was wasted when that serial divorcer boiled it into mush.

 Baylor flops more then a fish out of water and her Mom is just over her head.. "Hey we ate better then this on the other tribe so we can eat more here" .. Um yea, and just how much rice is left over at the other camp you idiot. :wall:

No way in heck I align myself with those two.. Easily would have taken out Mom, if you take out Baylor Mom goes on the warpath..If they lost the Challenge again I could easily see her say "Well, I'm going home so might as well leave with a full stomach" and cook up all the rice..

Still no idea why you choose to boot Kelly over Dale.. Kelly already showed some impatience with her Dad, so boot him and say "nothing personal" and she'd buy it and you have a vote down the road..

Tie ins and actual bonds are two different things. No one in the game trusts Baylor, even a little bit. I think booting Missy would have been the way to go.

Despite what the edit is leading you to believe that's not true. Jon/Jaclyn and Keith must trust her some since they just voted her way. Her mom trustees her. Josh seems to trust her alot. Wes and Alex voted with her. She's been on the right side of the vote every time so far. Where's is all this flopping. Sure first vote she said yeah women I'm with you until she talked to Josh and found out he wasn't voting with them. Why stay on the wrong side of a 5 to 4 vote. Where did she flop on the Val Rocker and Kelley votes? She was their target but she ends up being on the side that votes them out. Don't buy into what the editors are distractioning you with go by what's happening.

Keith seems completely incapable of looking forward past 1 day or seeing the game from anyone else's perspective but his own. As the solo vs. 3 couples, you'd think he'd be able to read the room and pitch himself as the tiebreaker for the eventual 2 on 2 situation for the couples that do team up to vote out the third. Once they boot Dale, it's John & Jaclyn vs. Missy & Baylor and Keith is the guy that keeps them from drawing rocks. If they need to before the merge, at least. Seems at least an idea he should have had if he looked at it from a different angle.
Keith has no earthly idea what he's doing. This season's most amusing player and it's not close.

My estimation is that Jaclyn still had a tinge of fondness for Baylor, and John didn't trust Kelly much because of all the hijinks with his idiot pal Drew. Both of the parents are awful.

Last night I thought it might have been immunity. Not only should they have to lose something big, but the other tribe should also gain something IMO.

Missy should be rewarded for overfeeding everybody on the old tribe?

They should let them compete for half of Coyopa's rice, since half of them are to blame. But I'm guessing a tribal council / auto immunity loss as well.

I agree in principle, but Jeff mentioned last night that even though it wasn’t your tribe, you inherited it. In other words, tough luck.

Was the timing of the tribe re-draw scripted prior to the start of the game or do they decide to do it after the game starts depending on what happens?

This is probably the most boring season I've ever watched
 almost every year someone, or many post this.. seriously, go back through all 25 threads if you can find them and you'll find the same statement in almost each one before the merge..

I would like to believe it was planned, but I'm guessing the producers saw what an assskicking the blue tribe was putting on and decided to switch things up.

But I wish they would just let things play out so we can watch them starve and beg Jeff for food.

Jeff better take everything they have for more rice. So lame they screw up eating everything and then get bailed out. The people that go on Naked and Afraid don't get any food and survive. On survivor there are a bunch of people on each team who should be able to figure out how to get something to eat but they are lazy with no survival skills.

Let them starve or quit the game if they can't figure out how to get food on their own.

As I've told my wife for years.. if I was going to be on the show, the minute I found out I was going I'd be researching what is edible where they are going. Roots, leaves.. hell even bugs.. and to the wimps saying. Don't kill the birds.. F U I'm throwing as many rocks as I can when they are grouped up like they were. One lucky throw and "it taste just like chicken"

I wouldn't think it's healthy to eat vulture. Seems they'd carry disease.

I also think there are rules against eating some local animals. Heard some rumors about protecting certain native species.
Pretty much any living animal is going to be OK to eat. If the disease isn't killing the cells/body functions of that animal, it's not going to kill us.

That part I could see and again, the reason to do some research before you leave.

Oh you mean like the same as when the poison isn't killing the snake then it won't kill us? You're a genius!

A vulture has numerous defensive traits that protect it from the diseased meat they eat. They have no feathers on their neck which limits microbes ability to hide and infect, they have much higher corrosive stomach acid to help kill any rot in their food, and they piss on their own legs to also help keep themselves disease free.

To be fair, I do/have most of this stuff too.

1. Rattlesnake is edible.

2. You proved my point. They have mechanisms in place to keep them healthily, hence they would be safe for us to eat.

This has to be schtick.

There are plenty of animals humans can't eat, either because they have adapted to live with organisms or concentrations of specific nutrients that would be lethal to us, or because they possess toxins. That's less true with venom (which is pretty self-contained) than it is with passive defensive toxins that have evolved to make a species safer from predators.

That said, you can eat vulture. Lots of people do.

Of course, you can eat fruit bat, too, but that doesn't always go well. :oldunsure:

They've actually only done two Survivors in Africa, I believe. In Gabon and an unspecified place in East Africa, I believe.
