If you are going to clam you have two HII you better have one. Good players will try to flush one out. Way overplaying to soon.
Seriously. That's painfully bad play.

"I have 2 immunity idols"

Sure you do toots.....
And after she was voted out, she talks about making "big moves." Say what? In six days you did what exactly? The big moves were what?
Yeah. She even had a clue for the HII and couldn't find it while Rocker found it just from reading it. Now her husband will be mad at Rocker even though he did the best he could. Not his fault Val was a terrible player and got herself voted out.
Is he not the one who told the rest of the guys she claimed to have two idols?
From exit interviews and a reporter who saw the first tribal she was hinting she had at least one since she retuned from EI. Rocker told her to play it since he knew they where going to try and make her use it. She should have came clean to him right there and then.
I'm pretty sure he sold her out to Josh.. fine w me, just saying, not exactly the utmost in Val protection
And Rocker found the hidden idol thanks to Jeremy sharing the clue. He could have protected her if he really wanted to. That wouldn't have been the right game move though.

wat ??

Or do you think that after she told everyone she had 2 HI.. and after he told her She better play it and didn't tell him she didn't have an idol to play, that he still should have given her his HI just to be safe ??

If so.. :loco:

Yeah, telling Rocker (everyone?) that she had her own gets him off the hook. I was looking at it from her husband's perspective.

"We promised to protect the women. I gave you the clue. You found the idol. You knew my wife was in trouble. You didn't use the idol to protect her."

"Oh, and you're racist?"

And when she didn't get up to play the idol it was clear to all that she was bluffing. It would have been terrible for his game, but Rocker technically could have still saved her at that point.

Rocker is the perfect guy for this show. Dumb, will talk, will cause some trouble. If they fix this show they will keep him around as long as they can.

He didn't even need to do that. Couldn't he just leave it tied? Then if she still goes home he can honestly say he didn't vote for her and got some votes to keep her. If she ends up staying she's going to know he helped and she is in his pocket.

I don't see te incentive to change his vote unless he was just bitter that she lied.

Don't think strategy is his strength.

If I recall correctly, On the 2nd vote everyone voted for her except for one girl.. Whether Rocker writes down Val or not she was gone.

Assuming they were targeting Val. Once it was revealed that she had no Idol they were all voting for her anyway. I missed the vote reveal, did Val get all but one vote?

The other 4 guys wanted to get Val out or flush out her idol. Rocker knew this. When she didn't play an idol he knew she was going to get 4 votes to go, why vote against your alliance at that point?

Yup, that's exactly why he shouldn't have changed his vote.

I thought it was a nice touch to have one of the show's darlings being a total homophobe in the kill-Rocker episode. JR handled himself as well as could reasonably be expected.. too bad he lost his temper after the challenge with the fighty talk.. nobody's perfect. 100% gracious exit. He's a tool but I easily have more respect for him now than I did before the season started, which was none.

I knew he wasn't going to play the idol. What a jackass. Wish he'd stuck around a little longer though, just for the trainwreck factor.

Total letdown. No other real personalities on this one...still some solid eye candy left.

I'll take the lack of personalities though. There is always someone who annoys the crap out of me, Tony from last season being one of the worst. Looking forward to watching this group fight it out and how the dynamic changes if/when they merge.

To early to call since the other tribe hasn't been to tribal. Plus they had to put Rocker front and center because he's John Rocker and he got voted out early.

Stupid for Rocker NOT to play the idol.. Saying that, his tribe is worse..

How do you vote out arguably the strongest player on your team when you have lost 3 straight Immunity challenges? :loco:

Every year it seems one tribe decides to vote out their strong players in fear they might survive the merge.. and then end up at TC week after week.

With that move, I hope they end up at TC every week until they re-split up tribes, or the merge.

:goodposting: and because of that she has a good chance of making the final 3 as everyone will see her as the zero vote getter due to her mouth.

ugggh.. Going to be a long season if we have to listen to her from now to the end. :wall:

It's not as big of a disadvantage in a Blood vs Water season.

He choked in two physical challenges though. Typical hotheaded idiot who gets flustered and loses focus way too easily.

I was hoping Rocker didn't go last night as it will give the loud mouth twinnie incentive to continue. I know Rocker didn't do everything to protect the other guy's wife (everything would be to give her his idol, but she said she had one), but I hate that the husband started talking trash about Rocker based on that.

He starts paraphrasing what he remembers from something Rocker said 15 years ago and loud mouth jumps right on it. Sure, Rocker is a hothead and could have kept his mouth shut, but I cringe thinking how they will now feel smug. I was kind of hoping someone on his tribe, even him, would have said something along the lines of "your sister had a big mouth too and you see where she is. you're still here only because you haven't been to tribal."

Possible I guess but in a season with loveones involved not as likely. I can see scenarios where some on the blue tribe working together to throw IC to save their loveones on the yellow tribe and getting rid of those whose loveones have been voted out.

Never seen a season where one tribe can actually dictate who gets voted off in the other tribe.

Vote off John, he's running things over there (and is your biggest physical threat to help you beat us in challenges)

OK, we'll vote him out.

Not a fan of his at all, but your primary concern this early in the game is to not lose the immunity challenges. This is the ONLY way to insure you don't go home.

It will be interesting to see if they do start throwing challenges to get rid of the orphaned contestants.

I do not like this season at all, just something about the people. I hate when tribes have no course, people flip flopping on every single thing. OMG, he walked away with that person, he must have flipped even though he said why he did. OMG, he trusted me to tell me he has an idol, but that means he isn't trustworthy. Do these people watch the show or do they just get the stupidest people ever knowing that they won't have a good strategy and every step will be construed as a potential flip? Rocker is the perfect guy to bring to the end. He can't win the final vote, ever. He isn't the guy you vote off when he has 1 possible vote. I wonder if they are trying to make sure they don't have another Boston Rob/Cochran who know what's going on when everyone else doesn't.

Not sure why, but I just don't like the people at all. Watching the twinnie go off on Rocker is such a pot calling the kettle black scenario. She and her sister were just horrible people on TAR.

Probst: "So what's the fallout with everyone over on the other tribe hating Rocker?"

Gay Josh: Nobody say anything stupid...nobody say anything stupid...

Dumb Blond: "I think alliances are shifting. You know, because of what people said back at camp in secret, and stuff."

Rocker: [bIG SURPRISE EYES]

Gay Josh: [bURIES HEAD IN HANDS IN DISBELIEF]

Probst: "Okay. Time to vote."

Rocker: Nah...I got this.

Worst strategic cast since One World, which was just a magnificent group of morons. Jeremy's the only one with anything even remotely resembling a clue. Unfortunately for him, he has muscles, which means he's an insta-out after the merge. Would take a miracle for this cast to salvage a non-terrible season. I'm just in it for the meltdowns at this point. Looks like another coming next week.

Josh did a pretty great job of damage control after Boobs said too much.. made it look like she was just desperate

I don't hate the season, there's really no one who irritates me.. but like someone pointed out, we've hardly seen the stronger tribe

Now imagine if there were two of her.
If the one left worked on her lower body a bit she could play FB at some mid level college. She is thick.

I felt a little bad for surviving Twinnie when her sister was booted earlier, but that's all gone now. typical dumb loudmouth who starts spouting off about something she knows nothing about. some gamesmanship to get the other tribe to vote off the strongest challenge guy, but I guarantee she has no idea who Rocker is or what he allegedly said.

:lmao: @ Rocker. What a friggin' knucklehead. When he went and got his HII, just in case, I said to my wife "he's dumb enough to go home with that in his pocket".

Yeah, that was weird. "Don't you see?! He's running things!" How the hell would you know?

Rocker probably would have been ok if he had kept his mouth shut just a little longer. His physical threats didn't sit well with the guy who really is running things. That sealed his fate. Not anything the other tribe said.

Disagree with basically all of this. Rocker made dumb moves, which made Josh not trust him. That's not the perfect guy to bring to the end, because he can't help you get there.

Walking off with Val and then telling your tribe (after the vote) that you were trying to save her is not smart. Nonchalantly mentioning that you have an idol is not smart. You either make the reveal a big deal or keep it to yourself.

At this point it's much better for Josh's game to have Baylor in his pocket. The only downside to that decision is the physical presence Rocker can bring to a challenge, but what has that gotten them so far?

There's one player with a winning edit so far, and you're ripping his strategy as flip-flopping. Maybe I'm watching a different show...

I'm not sure which one was dumber running your mouth about how alliances are changing while trying to blindside someone and keeping yourself safe or keeping the idol in your pocket after that information is brought to light, especially since you didn't hear anything about those changes. Odds are if you didn't hear about it you are the target.

I agree with you, but if the girls were all sunshine and roses about the tribal vote, wouldn't that have been pretty suspicious and make Rocker play the idol? Whether intentional or not, hearing one of the girls saying alliances could be shifting, and then Josh saying I don't know what she talking about is probably what Rocker expected to hear.

Josh is smart and has that "I am not a threat" vibe going which means he is most definitely a threat to win this thing.

Yeah so far Josh and Baylor have long term edits. Wes's edit moved up some to me as well. If those 3 make the merge and reunite with their love ones they could do some damage.

Yeah, the remaining twin was just wrong for her comments at the challenge. Calling him racist and homophobe when she had no clue who the guy even was. He had a chance to turn that on her and didn't. Being a bonehead, he lashes out and makes her comments seem somewhat valid, instead of calmly asking her not to judge him on something he regretted saying 15 years earlier.

"I'm not the same guy I was in the past and I'm trying to show that.. you don't know me and your words are hurtful and unnecessary." Instead, he shows he is a jackass.

That said, I hope the remaining twin is booted at first opportunity.

The fact that "he" got rid of the only two minorities in the first two tribals probably added some fuel to the "still racist" fire. They probably assumed the gay guy was next.

Interview with John Rocker:

http://www.herkimertelegram.com/article/ZZ/20141009/NEWS/310099993/10067/ENTERTAINMENT/?Start=1

Some interesting snippets:

Page 2 of 4 - Rocker: I won't spoil anything, but it's really interesting how the next challenge goes down. It's actually pretty funny. Be prepared to be entertained.

What was your reaction when you got voted off?

Rocker: To be honest, I was pretty happy I was going to get something to eat. ... 'Point me to the nearest bar and the nearest meal. Get me the hell out of here.' I was actually kind of happy I got voted off. I lost 19 pounds in 10 days. That's some legit s---, right there.

Let's talk about the challenge. Things got pretty heated with you and Natalie.

Rocker: What you didn't see was, in the challenge prior ... every time their tribe would win, Natalie would leave the arena [trash-talking]. I mean, "Motherf---in" and "#######it," "you bunch of f----- #######." Not like 10 seconds. I mean, like, a minute worth of just dog-cussin' us. And we're like, 'You just won. You've really got to be an assh--e? You've really got to do that?' And so, [this] challenge was a little back and forth, doing the same thing. She's walking across the top of those wood beams there, flipping us off with both hands. "F--- you guys, f--- you." And then for whatever reason ... she gets back to her side and starts singling me out personally. So now I've got a choice: Either sit there and look like a big wimp for getting dog-cussed by a woman and just taking it, or fire back and look like an assh--e. So, I chose to look like an assh--e.

As far as how all that went down, I'm not kidding myself to say that I don't come with some kind of stigma, some kind of stereotype, some kind of assumptions that people make about me. And until you get to know me, that's just what you're going to think. You're going to just assume I'm an assh--e, assume I'm a bigot. ... But over the years, not one single person that actually knows me had come forward and agreed with any of those statements about me. Not a single one. In fact, it's been exactly the opposite. People that know me defend me.

Have you spoken to Natalie since?

Rocker: We're friends now. I was actually on a Skype phone call [with them] last night. I was in L.A., so they were watching it before me. I was sitting there talking to them as they were watching it. As Natalie's yelling at me I'm like, "Really, Natalie? Are you proud of yourself right there?" So, we of course had a little banter with that. And she's since apologized to me. I got to spend a lot of time with [Nadiya] at Ponderosa and became good friends with her, and then of course they get back to Jersey and she tells Natalie, 'He's actually a good dude. We're actually pretty good friends. You'd really like him.' ... Playing 13 years of professional baseball, I've heard a lot of s---. I've said some really bogus stuff in my life too. Nadiya, she can keep up with me word for word. Several times, she'd come out with something that would even make me blush.
Sounds like Natalie makes the Jury. Nadiya would have met him otherwise.

They really need to switch up how they edit, after watching Survivor for many years now it was obvious in the first few minutes and reinforced the whole episode that Drew was going home.

The editors have never been kind to those who throw challenges and when you're a ####### to boot they want your exit to be shown.

Agreed, it was obvious he was going home. If you watched his post voted out interview before the previews then you saw how delusional he is about his prowess in the game.

How can Jon be surprised things didn't go his way at tribal when him, Drew and Jeremy all voted for different people. What the hell did he think would happen? Lots of mental midgets on that team.
