Last night proved that Alec and Keith are just floating along hoping someone carries them and it cost Alec..

They had a GREAT opportunity to align with Jon and Jaclyn by telling them Baylor and Natalie were planning to vote out Jon had he not won Immunity..

Sure, there is a chance with Jon being such a idiot he wouldn't believe them, but it would have been better then just hoping.

Going to take some sneaky play to be able to vote out Jon or Jaclyn next week since the alliance of 4 can't split their votes to cover the idol that they know Jon has..
I can't recall, did Natalie and Baylor ever actually get to the point of telling Keith or Alec that plan?

Can't recall if they showed it or not.. But there was numerous "interviews" with Natalie and Baylor after Jon won Immunity talking about how they had the perfect plan so I figured they had talked to Keith and Alec. Maybe not??

It wouldn't surprise me if they had, even before seeing if Jon won immunity. It's been that kind of a  season.

Natalie is worried about ending up in the finals with Jon. So she decided to keep Keith since he has a better chance to beat Jon at immunity challenges and thus they can get Jon out.

The flaw with that plan? If she votes out Keith last night and does end up against Jon in the finals, the jury so far is: Gay guys, Jeremy, Wes and Keith. Three of those guys were blindsided/targeted by Jon, the other two, Wes and Keith can't stand him. Natalie gets all their votes.

If Keith makes it to the end with Natalie because he keeps winning immunity and they can't get him out, he gets his old alliance votes (Gay guys, Alex, Wes) plus probably gets Jon & Jaclyn because Natalie will have turned on them.

Natalie has lost control of the immunity challenges with Jon and Keith likely winning them, and thus she cannot control who she goes to the end with, if she makes it that far. She should have gone with the safer play of voting Keith out. She knows Jon has an idol, but he does not know yet that she has an idol. This may be the only thing that saves her game. Although Missy also knows she has an idol and she may spill the beans to Jon.

So...for those that dislike spoilers, don't watch ANY of the upcoming promos CBS is playing. They just spoiled basically the entire episode for this week. Seriously, I don't usually care too much about avoiding "preview spoilers" but this is kind of ridiculous.

If you want to know what it was:

For those that didn't see it and don't care about spoilers, basically they said there was going to be a blind draw to see who goes home. Which means you can pretty much ignore any storyline regarding who's going home during the episode.
Yeah I saw the commercial. Ugh, WTF CBS?!
???After I saw this post, I avoided the thread all week to avoid people talking about it. Turns out CBS ran an old commercial. :lmao:

me too :bag:

Would think it's going to be 4 vs 2.

The four split the vote for Jon and Jax. Whoever doesn't play the idol gets voted out.

To avoid that Jon needs to make a deal with Keith. Give him the idol if he will vote with him and Jax. Would make sense for Keith because he'd end up with an idol and with the numbers.
Then it would be a tie.. 2 votes for whomever didn't play the idol, 2 votes for whomever Jon & Jaclyn vote for.. Which leads to the question..

Maybe the commercial some of us saw last week was a week early?? :oldunsure:
The tell on that commercial was it saying "for the second time in Survivor history" which was true when it happened in the first B vs W season. If it happened this season it would be the third time in Survivor history.

Are you all kidding? Great move by Natalie. Baylor was in on it, she just didn't tell her mom so the plan couldn't get ruined but her mom isn't going to go against them going forward.

It's now Bailey, her mom, Natalie, Keith vs Jon and Jacqueline. if one of Jon/jaq wins immunity they split vote between their pawn keith and whichever one of Jon/jaq doesn't have immunity flushing their idol out and keith goes home. Then they still have 3-2 lead and neither Jon or jaq has an idol to protect themselves the next week.
How does this not result in a tie? And that tie forces Keith and whoever Jon and Jac vote for out of the voting, which presumably results in another tie. Which results in a rock draw, which you had better win because you just announced to Keith you're selling him down the river.
Yeah, if one of jon or jaq wins immunity then that could happen, if neither of them does then it's clear coasting for Baily/mom/natalie.

But actually they could just vote Keith out if one of Jon/Jaq ends up winning immunity. The one who doesn't have immunity will surely be using the idol, so they just get rid of Keith instead of voting for either of Jon/Jaq and get them the next week with a 3-2 advantage and no idols left.

Either way Baily/mom/natalie are covered. Easy street if neither jon/jaq wins immunity, and still outs if one of them does due to having the pawn Keith on their side to sacrifice.

Natalie is looking better. The Survivor diet is working great on her. Hopefully she kept it up after the show.

Jon wins immunity. Make deals with them to vote out Keith or Alec... talk with Keith and Alec, give them a wink, vote out Jaclyn instead with Baylor, Natalie, Keith and Alec. Simple. No one would see it coming unless someone talks about it.

That was the only bad play from the two hours unless you consider that keeping Reed is better than keeping Missy.

Should have been a simple vote of Jaclyn last night. Simple.

Not sure I agree with keeping Jacqueline over Alec but can't really get mad at Natalie for it.

My goodness Jacqueline has the most amazing hips on tv.

Not more convo about Missy sending Jon instead of Baylor to exile? Everyone knew an idol was up for grabs again.
Yah, I didn't feel like Missy was playing very strategically there. Send Baylor to exile, take 1 of Jon/Nat on the reward. Jac still is back with the guys, but Jon can reassure her better since he's with alliance. Don't leave Jon behind, that's dangerous with the 4 guys.

I thought it was dumb they threw in the towel on the challenge anyways, but smart of Jeff to notice and head it off.

She's an idiot. Nothing really to discuss.

All of this chatter about Natalie looking hot? WTF??? She still looks like a square box with saggy ####.

Best thing about the finale this season is seeing Jacqueline all cleaned up. Maybe she'll wear yoga pants.

Jon was the best (only) chance of their alliance finding the idol. Once he finds it you're free to send the other guys the rest of the way. That seemed to be the predetermined plan. Jon was going even if he won the challenge.

Then they basically told everyone that he did indeed find it when they sent Alec the next time.

So new episode next Wed then finale and reunion show a week from this Sunday?
i think the final is the 17th
Correct, which means there will be a final 2 this season instead of a final 3.
Why does it mean that? Six left. Dec 10th gets them down to 5 for the finale on the 17th.Generally two TCs in the final episode, which takes it down to the F3 for the jury.
Correct, I miscounted how many were still left at this point.

May have been stated before but...Alec had to be one of the worst players in challenges ever. Couldn't beat anyone at anything.

He was so bad I thought he was throwing them on purpose with the plan to tear it up at the end. I guess I gave him way too much credit.

Ive wondered about this since they changed it to three in the finals a few years back. WTF will they do if there is a tie in the final vote?

Why do they always congratulate the immunity idol winner when they get back to camp. Do they walk silently back after the competition?

He's really dumb as well. If you watch the Ponderosa video, it's clear that he has no idea how this game works.

About time. I thought Missy was going to continue the delusional run here. She did vote for Jaclyn though. Her time is done... she should go out after the next vote since she can't do any challenges. If Baylor and Missy are in the top 4... Missy should voluntarily leave to give Baylor top 3 since she has a better chance at winning final immunity.

Survivor diet works great on Natalie. I won't say she's "sexy" but she is doable with the survivor diet. Hopefully she keeps it off.

Drinking game = every time Keith spits... DRINK!!!!

Jon and Jaclyn were like http://imageshack.com/a/img538/8175/g53pw2.png and the rest of the crowd is like https://imageshack.com/i/pbif3C5zp

The boss move to get jury votes would be for Bailey to vote out her mom. Would let everyone know she's playing the game and out to win. Her mom sucks and has no hope, she might as well do it and show she's cutthroat. She should be pissed her mom even had the nerve to stick up for some random dude.

If Jac can calm down and be rational, then Natalie should use her and Keith to vote out Baylor or Missy. Probably Baylor, seeing as she's not hobbled. No more power blocks of two at that point and she can probably control Keith. Sets her up pretty well.
