Wasnt there an extended preview that showed Rick and gang with Gareth and Terminus folk all getting along or am I misremembering?

Another gotcha zombie moment...in the woods...looking around...check through the scope and WHAM...two zombies a foot away. Love that these things can walk through woods over leaves and limbs without a sound.

I didn't read the comics but if Tyrese's character was even remotely likable...they've ruined him on this show. I honestly just cannot stand him now. Sissy @zz waste of a human...sure, he'll eventually graduate to bad@zzery but I'm done with him. And that pained, effeminate look he had when Rick and crew were taking care of business...damn. These writers should be ashamed for turning an actor who gave us Cutty into this wimp.

So Bob was bitten afterall...not on the side or a leg...but up on his freakin' shoulder and NO ONE knew?

Glad they didn't drag on this Termite nonsense...

But honestly...the Termites know who's left in the church so they decide it's somehow OK to enter the front door...and stroll straight down the aisle? Ridiculous...NO ONE would do this...even if they were certain most of the guns were gone...even one gun in that church and you're all eating lead.

Decent overall episode...thankfully they're not dragging out this new "hunt for the missing girl" angle while we camp out, like they did in season 2...

Late scene tyrese digging grave. What was the dialogue w/ rick?

Ps best episode ever
I had to rewind it and watch it a couple of times to catch it.. crappy sound with the digging shovels at the same time..

Something along the lines of

Rick: "I never asked you about how it was for you getting to Terminus"

Tyrese: "It killed me"

Rick: after dramatic pause "No... It didn't"

Thought the same things about Michone in the woods and Bob being bit. I can give it a pass though.

Tyrese is conflicted. He knows what he has to do to survive but can't bring himself to do it. He's almost there. I think almost anyone would struggle with killing another person.

The Termites, especially Gareth, were overly confident. They knew it was the preacher, who would do nothing, Karl (a kid), Tyrese the wimp, a baby, mullet and a few women. They could easily overwhelm Abraham.

I could see that if this was week two of this.. But by now, and especially after knowing what that group had done to others, you'd lose your normal morality and realize it is "Kill or be Killed" with them.

Does Daryl have Beth, Carol or Both?
He may have Beth and the scenes for next week are a flashback sequence but Beth looked to be in a hospital in a city. My guess is it is a new character who knows where Beth is or something. It doesn't make sense for Carol to be hiding in the dark behind Daryl so he can make sure the coast is clear. She is the new Michonne. But maybe Carol was watching the rear as they went through the woods and her and Daryl were escorting someone else.

Or maybe they found Morgan.

I don't think he's been pushed as far into the kill or be killed territory as Rick has. Remember it wasn't too long ago that Rick was saying "we don't kill the living" or whatever the line was. Tyreese had the Governor experience but he was pretty much shielded from the Terminus event.

Does anyone else except Rick really know Morgan? I know they found him barricaded in a town a few seasons ago, but would it be someone they would recignize?

Thats what I thought too. Tricky producers
So much for all the complaining that the season preview trailer spoiled everything. :)

Daryl sure looked messed up coming out of the woods.

Still love Rick and the machete with a red handle. How freakin awesome is Rick Grimes right now?

They screwed with the wrong person.

Pretty good shot too, blew only Gareth's fingers off as homage to Talking Dead.

In the dark too. I suppose he could have had the night vision Michone was using earlier though.

I'm curious as to two actions the show took.

1. The guy that Tyrese beat up. Why have him survive at all if it isn't being used to accelerate Tyrese's move to a badass?

2. Tainted Meat. I loved that line and Bobby boy cracking up, but there was no real need for it. No development other than them bringing Bob to the church to lure out Rick's group. The most the tainted meat did was accelerate this. They could have brought Bob out anyway as they needed to take out Rick's group right away and not wait for Rick's group to hunt them down. Be the hunter, not the hunted.

I thought perhaps these two plots were developed more in the comics and not pushed through fruition in the TV series but haven't read the comics. So if this is the case, perhaps you can explain (with spoilers if necessary).

1) Tyreese seeing that the guy lived and what they were capable of has to weigh on his mind.

2)I think that's basically what it was, a great line. They apparently didn't want to drag the Gareth thing out too long so they used it to accelerate the showdown.

I'm probably about the only one who was curious about this, but I did hear Gareth mention to his group that the tainted meat was okay because it had been cooked.

Was just something I was curious about in the grand scheme of the show and an additional thing I took from the BobBQ.

I wasn't that into this one... less a fan of the "action" and more of how they deal with their own humanity in face of everything. This one was a bit too hammered home on all counts. I understand they're setting up this giant play on shifting morality... dunno... wish it was more subtle.

A couple of quibbles...

Gareth was shot at terminus, no? Somebody else?

Termites go through this whole head-trip plan by leaving Bob there to lure the guns away from the church and split up the group... but then just walk through the front door blindly yelling out their intentions?

Me-shawn- hears a noise and just wanders blindly into the woods... that's the best plan there?

yeah- Darryl looked like a mess. Have to assume it somebody new behind him that he was protecting... maybe somebody saved from where Beth is still locked up.

Mullet... "I'm not going".... "well, ok then, I'm going".

I heard it. Didn't seem his friends were trusting that. Kind of like the Ebola scare. ;)

Isnt all meat technically tainted meat?
Yup. Don't know if the Termites were aware that everyone is infected or even if Bob knew (guessing he didn't based on his reaction). But yeah technically it probably doesn't matter in the long run that they ate Bob after he was bitten.

1) Seems a little on the soft sell side there.

I half expected Shane to come out of the woods with Daryl at the end.

But it's probably Lori now that she's done with all the mowing.

Why were Rick and Tyresse digging 2 graves? Only Bob from the good guys died. Surely they weren't giving the Termites a proper burial.

Tainted Meat was a line by one of the Hunters in the comics. Nothing came of it in the comic since the Hunters were killed immediately after. That's why I pointed out last week that there were no spoilers posted since the comic didn't answer what happened if you eat tainted meat. My guess is nothing but the show didn't want to waste the line.

I was impressed that Rick figured out why the Termites brought Bob back and actually came up with a smart plan for once.

Tyresse was digging the graves.. I assume for the termites because he's a ##### now...

Rick was only digging to help Tyresse.. he couldn't give 2 ####s for a proper burial...

Tyreese was digging a grave for Bob. Rick was digging one for Tyreese. He's gonna kill him once Bob is buried.

Sasha asked Bob what good came from him dying? I think the answer is Tyrese will finally man up, he sort of did when he put down Bob.

Looks like they were ready to stay at the church as long as possible until Darryl & Carol came back. It wasn't a proper burial, it was just a burial to dispose of the hunters remains.
