Yeah was that meant the signify the walls are starting to crack?
I think so. But whose blood would that be?Was that the same spot where the cracker thief was watching guard?
i just thought it was a walkers blood leaking through
Yes I would think that it would be symbolic of the pressure on the walls from the massive number of walkers crushed up against it.
I thought it was cracker thief's blood. I was thinking maybe he committed suicide or someone with a sniper rifle took him out. I don't think it was walker blood because it looked like it was dripping down.

Thought this as well. Suicide is my guess.

A snoozefest last night aside from the gory closeups of Deanna Monroe's face. By far the scariest scenes of the entire show.

Hopefully a zombie will eat the fat lesbian doctor next week -- I've seen more than enough of her.

:X Sucked
Eh, not much action happened (highlight was a kiss between two girls that somehow wasn't even hot to watch). But they needed a fallout episode and to advance the season's arc. I didn't think it was s bad episode and the positive is that I think they accomplished what they needed to and it only took one episode.

So how the heck did Rick get away from the RV that was surrounded by zombies? And why were those zombies so fast when he was approaching the gate? Those walkers came out of nowhere.

Yup. This has been a great season but this was a real weak episode. Not showing how Rick got out of an RV surrounded by hundreds of walkers was a tad bit lazy (I'm being kind). Other than Maggie saying she's pregnant I can't think of anything that occurred that really furthered the story in a meaningful way. Wasn't a surprise that Rick hooked up with Mrs. Porchdick. They've been eyef'ng each other for awhile now.

I suppose we are due for another flashback to show us how Rick escaped but it would have been a welcome addition to the last night's episode.

It was about as hot as kissing grandma on the cheek.

I still think they should try and kill some of them. If anything the fallen zombies would create an additional buffer between the active zombies and the wall. I mean I know there are probably like 10,000 of them there, but heck, 100 here--100 there adds up. Rocks or bricks from the top of the wall would be pretty effective I would guess.

I liked the episode, but the one thing my wife and I found funny was Rick gives the big speech about they need to be quiet and cover the windows, yet it seemed there were a bunch of scenes last night where people are just having a conversation next to the wall.

Oh and the Carl slap fight was just awesome!!

Yeah, it would take awhile, but make something like a cinder block tied to a rope and just keep dropping it on skulls and retrieving it. There is no certainty that anyone is coming to pied piper them away anytime soon.

Good point. I thought the same thing when Rick and Porchdick Jr. were standing on top of the wall looking down at the walkers. You might as well hang a sign that says "Zombies food inside!".

Weakest episode of the season, but guess it was necessary for something.. maybe Maggie's preggo speech.

Aaron is a good actor. Great character.

Jessie's son, not so much. Jessie looked good on Talking Dead, though.

Glad they're going back to Daryl, Sasha and Abe next week. And where's Carol??

I guess Rick figures the walkers are defending the town by just standing there while they wait word from Glenn, Daryl, Abe and Sasha. He still thinks they'll show up and lure them away in their vehicles.

As soon as she walked into the room and sat on the chair I thought she was going to make a move on the new doctor. Turned out the other way around, sort of, I guess.

Episode was all about "I'm going out there and find X person". Walk around, have a conversation.... Meh. Maybe not.

I love me some Maggie, but her accent is just atrocious. Really came out in the tunnel when you get the voice amplified.

She is in full on Ninja beast mode right now....probably scaling walls, hiding in the shadows and looking for more Wolves to slaughter.

Maggie is nice to look at but her character has been terrible for a long time. Her accent was bad from day 1.

Carol has gone full-on Ninja.

You will not see her unless she is really needed to kick some ###

I can't believe you beat me to this. Great minds think alike.

I was thinking a couple of molotovs should do the trick. The walls are all metal so don't really have to worry about them catching. Maybe it would get out of control, but one or two at a time shouldn't get too blazing. Fire kills zombies right? Or is that only in GoT?

I was thinking spears... Spears twice as long as a man.

Only issue I could think of is no cleanup. There are thousands of them, start killing a bunch and they will start pilling up and possibly get over the walls climbing on top of bodies. Would have to kill A LOT of them for that to happen though.

Also, walls bleeding? I thought they were cracking? I must not have seen that quite right.

questions:

1. How did Rick get out of the RV or is that going to be a flashback at some point?

2. Why the hell wasnt everybody strapped the second the walkers got to the wall?

3. Why are people wandering around at night? Shouldnt there be a curfew in case there are random walkers?

Walls were bleeding due to the walkers piling up and pushing to the wall squashing those in front, imo.

They need to get a vehicle drive up behind them and lean on the horn or play a loud CD to draw them away from the fence.

"The town needs Rick."

IMHO the town has gone to #### since Rick and his crew arrived.
It's true although in his defense the herd of zombies from the quarry were still coming and it was not his fault that Aaron left his packet of photos for the wolves.

What are you talking about? Guy in the back had his hands up ready to box them one by one.

Ahh, so probably starting to crack and first sign is blood leaking thru the small cracks. Makes more sense.

It was late when I watched it on DVR and I was tired, but I thought someone was cutting through. That doesn't make a lot of sense though.

Yeah, could argue instead of 10k walkers at the gate, there'd be 20k. Also, Aaron likely would have run into the wolves at some point, they were finding "W" walkers all over the place before he lost his pack.

Pre-Rick = Peaceful Utopia

Post-Rick - 1/2 the town dead with thousands of walkers at their gate.

Give me Pre-Rick

Sure but the point is the wolves and walkers were coming to Alexandria with or without Rick
