*** Official World Cup 2014 Pool *** (3 Viewers)

What kind of order is the Golden Boat winner list in. I can't seem to find my guy :oldunsure:
The list is taken from one of my sports books, so it's likely in odds order.
Mario Gomez is at the top of my list. Maybe I downloaded an earlier version? I have everything done, but that, and I can't find Fred for the life of me. Making me rethink picking him...
I'll check when back on my computer, seems odd if he's not there.

Well, he's not on the list, so leave it blank... you get the field.

Me me me me

Alright, master_sheet preview is here: http://1drv.ms/1mwRv7A

It's pretty large, around 1Mb, so download it locally instead of trying to open it from the site.

ETA: I removed a lot of the graphics from the file to keep it as small as possible...

You would have to email to me like you did with the entry sheet. No big deal if that's a hassle though.

yeah, that list is from April some time... I didn't bother updating it...

2006 Top 3:

1. TenTimes

2. Tarheelfan

3. Paul (off-board friend of Z-Machine)

2010 Top 3:

1. Sebowski

2. JZilla

3. Tremendous Upside

Only 1 of the original 6 money winners have returned.

(I wasn't able to find the 2002 pool, but then again there's been a board migration and purging since, and I'm not sure if I ran it here or on a side board.)

my antiquated computer can't handle this for some reason. is there another way to send it?

33 now... Cheese found a potential flaw in the scoring in the master sheet. I am going to check that out tonight.

Let me know if you find anything else.

Found the issue, I missed a 0 in the calculation sheet, which should have been a "".

Thanks, and let me know if you find anything else.

Latest fixed sheet, also includes TRE and floppo, to take us to 34 total.

All edits should be in there as well.

We have about a day and a half to go before I lock this down. I want all submissions and payments by midnight pacific on Wednesday.

Since the window is still open I sent a tweaked version of my original entry.

Please confirm that this is okay as my new official entry Charv.

Thanks! :)

I don't have the USA scoring a single goal.

Is that bad?
FWIW, the US has never been shut out at a WC. Even the poor college kids we sent to slaughter back in 1990 scored a couple.

But there is a first time for everything of course.
For this format I could have them losing 999-0 and it doesn't really matter right? Because getting even one draw seems like a great result here.

I have them beating Germany. No joke.

So If I have Brazil losing to Argentina in the Semis can I just leave the rest of the tournament blank knowing that all the stadiums will be burnt down?

I don't think you would find a single soccer fan who would tell you that the US getting 1 point from this tournament is a "great" result.

It would put your total goals tie-breaker in doubt.
