Once you switch to dark chocolate it's hard to go back (1 Viewer)

As a younger man I was a milk chocolate guy. Now that I've become more accustomed to dark, the milk chocolate just tastes like swill. Am I right???

Milk chocolate becomes almost inedible compared to dark chocolate. The taste of milk chocolate is as subtle as sticking your tongue in a bowl of Denny's crunchy, stale sugar.

Add some good spicy heat to it and dark chocolate gets even better.

Pretty damn good

That's because it is swill. Dark chocolate: Gruyere. Milk chocolate: Kraft singles.

I like my chocolate like my women: black and bitter.

Just kidding, white and sweet are ten times better.

kate upton prefers dark chocolate... it's how she keeps those mammaries so big and delicious

It's because you're getting older, doofus.

Taste buds become more active in the back of your mouth, apparently, or something like that.

Least that's the folklore I hear.

Not to nitpick, but I can't buy the gruyere comparison. :yuk:I would say dark chocolate is like freshly grated from the block parmesan reggiano, while milk chocolate is like grated parmesan in a can.

DC is bitter IMO, but I do seem to want to listen to rap music when I eat DC.

I'm down with the dark chocolate.

I also like spicier mustards as I've gotten older, but everyone once in awhile some bright ### yellow mustard on a soft pretzel is dreamy.

You are correct about dark chocolate. I like 60%

I will, however, still eat crappy chocolate in the form of fun size snickers, Cadbury Eggs, etc. There has to be other ingredients. Milk chocolate on its own? Never again

Jesus Christ. Leave it to a bunch of FBGs to try to be chocolate snobs and still get it wrong.

People, there is some damned good milk chocolate out there.
