Yep. He's been one for 15 years.Hug a CO. They walk the toughest beats.
So awesome when he'd start to laugh in the middle of a 7-roper because the woman's face looked like she was on a Nickelodeon game show.Well they didn't have CGI in Peter North's day
I'm sure you know this and I'm not disputing your comments, but there are significant tax credits and other incentives for pharma companies to perform R&D and testing for "orphan drugs". Japan and the EU have instituted similar laws because they've been so effective on certain rare diseases.Certain cancers have cures, but the drug companies are just trying to find a way to make the most money from it.
Most of these cures are for genetically linked cancers, which make up a small amount of cancer cases. You can't make money if you have the cure to a certain type of breast cancer that only affects 1% of women.
I am a hack, thanksIn irons, illegal (old) grooves are not going to improve your game. Those grooves will only help great players around the greens. Instead get yourself some later model Ping G series irons (G20/25/30) and that's the best you'll be able to do there.
As far as drivers... worry about forgiveness, not a couple extra illegal yards with higher COR/CT. The most forgiving later model driver on the planet in my opinion was the Nike 5900 square driver. It maxed out the legal MOI (resistance to twisting on impact), and it's hard to mi#### ever for a hack. You can get one on Ebay for about 50 bucks.
"Spooged" - gawd I used to love that show.So awesome when he'd start to laugh in the middle of a 7-roper because the woman's face looked like she was on a Nickelodeon game show.Well they didn't have CGI in Peter North's day
My wife is an RN and just became an NP. There is no way a hospital allows #### service for fear of being sued. Most hospitals also require patient satisfaction surveys to verify quality.A lot of hospitals are treating patients like factory products, except when you're putting out bad products in a factory, there is some sort of correction action to fix the problem. In a hospital when doctors or nurses are doing bad things there is no corrective action. If you try to make things better you'll end up fired. Just like in factories alot of people are just there for a paycheck and really don't give a crap about their products/ patients. Not me but it happens.
This is stupid. Someone has a cure, already spent the money to find it, but can't profit? So, you are saying the cost to manufacture the drug is more than the price they can set?Certain cancers have cures, but the drug companies are just trying to find a way to make the most money from it.

No idea from a postal perspective, but incredibly important from business planning and development / census perspective.I'll tell you a little secret about zip codes.......they're meaningless.
And for me to get gas when using my credit card.No idea from a postal perspective, but incredibly important from business planning and development / census perspective.
Yeah, I have some friends that say this stuff. It's always fun to hear them talk about crazy conspiracy theories.Certain cancers have cures, but the drug companies are just trying to find a way to make the most money from it.

I'll tell you one thing, they are awful as geographic identifiers even though most companies seems to treat them as the Bible. No idea from a postal perspective, but incredibly important from business planning and development / census perspective.

You're a civil engineer?Metropolis areas, inner cities and the like are built and designed to perpetuate poverty and empowers those folks to feel like the system is rigged against them.
Close, 4 years of teaching in Miami and West Palm will set you straight. You're a civil engineer?
I don't have to do research for anyone or exercise logic for them.Proof?
So how do you bid out work? Fixed price, T&M, cost plus?People respect the hell out of architects... until they have to pay us.
Another thing I can learn. Say I know nothing about doctors in my area and want the best ortho surgeon in the area. How to proceed?People will shop, and do more research on buying a 300 dollar television than finding a good doctor/surgeon.
Did Santa bring you new tinfoil for your hat this Christmas?I don't have to do research for anyone or exercise logic for them.
you can believe the world isn't corrupt if you wish but asking for proof, which would require providing an almost endless amount of data which would likely only fall on the deaf ears of those unable to dig their heads out of the sand, comes across as foolish
the truth is out there if you want to find it
Did Santa bring you new tinfoil for your hat this Christmas?
No, MOP just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. You're a civil engineer?
I would recommend word of mouth but you have to ask several people. Also, you can get several opinions. You don't really care about the "bedside manner" you don't want to make a friend you want the best results. If it was me I would try to find someone who works in the hospital and get their opinion on outcomes. So how do you bid out work? Fixed price, T&M, cost plus?

No, that's not close at all.Close, 4 years of teaching in Miami and West Palm will set you straight.
The ONLY reason people spend more time researching a TV is because they can. They can look up features, read reviews, and compare to the price. Take price out of the equation and the whole thing becomes a weird black hole. Medical pricing transparency would change everything. Yet somehow everyday people get billed insane amounts and have zero idea why or how. Even when you try really hard to peg them down to a number, they give you one and it isnt even close. What recourse do you have?Another thing I can learn. Say I know nothing about doctors in my area and want the best ortho surgeon in the area. How to proceed?
We have people pay cash all the time for a procedure. They negotiate a price with the hospital and surgeon and that is what they pay. Now I know that everyone can't afford to pay cash and have to rely on insurance but it is possible to negotiate. The ONLY reason people spend more time researching a TV is because they can. Would your son consider you a life engineer...sorry, would he consider you a dad?Close, 4 years of teaching in Miami and West Palm will set you straight.
I like to think of myself as more of a life engineer for my kids...students sorry I just feel like their dad.
We have a report of shots fired...Would your son consider you a life engineer...sorry, would he consider you a dad?

I'm an RN and can testify to this being wrong here too. We are ALWAYS looking for ways to get better. That said, patient satisfaction surveys are a lousy way to measure quality. Patients do NOT typically know what's good for them, and kissing patient's (more often in my case, patients' families) asses in order to get a better score undermines healing. My wife is an RN and just became an NP. Don't ever say this again. Ever.
Agreed, but they do act as factories in a sense of trying to move "product". My wife had some major surgery a few months back. She stayed one night. It was obvious the hospital wanted her out the next day to have the room.My wife is an RN and just became an NP. There is no way a hospital allows #### service for fear of being sued. I was told this year that the heads of departments at a large, local hospital here have sales goals numbers they have to meet every quarter and that most decisions are based on achieving these numbers.Agreed, but they do act as factories in a sense of trying to move "product". I have never heard this before and I work at a very large hospital. Even when I worked for a for-profit hospital the patient safety and outcome always came first. The pt doesn't always know what is best for them, and most of the time the family doesn't either. If ever in doubt ask for your patient care advocate to work on your behalf and to make sure all your questions are answered and needs are met.I was told this year that the heads of departments at a large, local hospital here have sales goals numbers they have to meet every quarter and that most decisions are based on achieving these numbers.
Yeah, I hear you. It can have that feeling a lot. The main problem with healthcare/hospitals is that there are so many masters to serve. Insurance companies will often approve only a one-night stay after a given procedure. You have to go a long way out of your way to justify why a person might need to stay another night or two, and they'll probably still push back and deny.Agreed, but they do act as factories in a sense of trying to move "product". I wish our hospital didn't even do the surveys. What a waste of time to get a little bit of money back from insurance companies and cause a lot of headaches. I would go as far as saying JCAHO is a waste of money as well. The money that is spent on our main hospital alone to become JCAHO approved could hire a lot more staff. My 2 cents of working in the medical field for over 20 years is that JCAHO is just a show for a few days maybe a week and the hospital goes back to how they run on a daily basis. IF you are not JCAHO every day why fake it to get a certification like many hospitals around my area did to become magnet hospitals. AnywhoI'm an RN and can testify to this being wrong here too. RokNRole, I think he is also implying that your pharmacy must have been closed on New Year's Day and you didn't get a refill before the holidays. Or maybe it is just me.He's calling you dumb in a very nice way.
