That was a horrible call...the guy shoved him in the back and the defensive player (who could have at least madee contact with Smith), ends up on the ground. And this isn't a penalty?

Why didn't the ref looking at it throw the flag and the guy 30 yards away did?

you see holgrem, it looked like he was comtemplating taking a dump but couldn't then he could..... He looked like he was gonna pop . Too funny.

What was the reasoning there he put two hands on the guys back and pushed!?
The only reasoning I can think is that if his left hand hit his left shoulder before his right hit him in the back, the first contact was not in the back.Again, I can't see how you "reverse" that call.

Pure horse ####. Another playoff game marred by horrible calls. The NFL gets an F for this post-season. They need to be fined.
Yeah, if Pruitt's block in the 1st quarter was a penalty, there's no doubt that was a penalty.

Officiating in this playoff has been atrocious. Just about every damn game.

They should throw a flag every time a blocker does that "oops" movement, throwing his hands up, "oh I really didn't mean to block him in the back!" :bs: .

Hochuli for some reason gets a pass regularly...he's consistently awful.
I begin to worry that his wearing shirts 4 sizes to small is beginning to cause problems with bloodflow to the brain.

:lmao: No kidding - I thought I was watching a coaching vacancy right before my very eyes.

Nice run by Alexnader. Run was off right guard and he cut it back. That's what I'm talking about. Perfect for the system. TWICE!

I've decided to root for Seattle on the grounds that it wouldn't be right and proper to have a team with only one WR, no TEs, and no RBs in the Super Bowl.

You mean only 1 offensive player?Like Baltimore when they won?

WORST SUPERBOWL EVER!

as a Giants fan, I agree.
I've only seen the highlights, but the '72 Dolphins game was pretty weak too.
Yeah, but somebody WANTED to see that game.

Yes. That Baltimore team was the most unbalanced in Super Bowl history. That shouldn't happen again.
Then again, that sort of describes both New England and Carolina two years ago too. Actually, it describes most Super Bowls in the last decade. :lmao:

Huh, the Super Bowl between the Patriots and Carolina was great. It was a defensive battle in the first half, and the second half it was a total offensive fireworks show.

#### it...going out to the shop to get some work done. I was so pumped about this playoff season and all we've gotten is one or two decent games and a bunch of steaming turds left everywhere.I hope the Hawks can put up a good fight in the Bowl as I'll be rooting for them.Enjoy all.

Man Bass, don't give up on the team.

Just for historical purposes...at the start of the game here is the voting:Seattle [ 65 ] [54.17%] Carolina [ 55 ] [45.83%] Total Votes: 120 Now 79-58.

I hope people see how good this team is. Even at 13-3 people did not believe. This is a very good football team on offense and defense. The offense is nearly unstoppable when hot. GO Hawks!

I'm very excited about a Seattle vs. Pitt Super Bowl. Two teams high on my list that I would both like to see get a ring.
