I became curious to know if any country has dominated these Olympics so far. I tried to see if there was a correlation between population and metals won. Meaning, the countries with bigger populations would 'probably' have a bigger population pool to produce Olympic greatness. These are the 10 most populated countries, ranked by how many medals won per person in the country.
America is obviously cheating, and India is tragically underperforming.

Dutch about to help us out here in field hockey. The gold medal race really is back and forth. Every time I think they might pull away from China it tightens back up.

Chandler Bing supports this.

I’ve been ranked as high as number 3 in Bangladesh
Just what the heck. Someone said she has been the #1 ranked breakdancer in Australia. Either she’s the only breakdancer in the country or that’s a straight up troll job.
Sure, his comments on breakdancing are top of the heap, king of the hillHe’s the best thing on tvScott Hanson commenting on it is super cringe.Break dancing on the gold zone channel is like when they show jags titans on the red zone
Like with any sport, the men are just more powerful and faster in all the movements. There's a lot of strength that comes with some breakdancing moves. Why do they need to separate men's and women's breakdancing? It's all subjective anyway.
For the breakdancing, everyone not choreographing their routine to Rockit by Herbie Hancock should be docked a full point.
He would have lost on criteria. There is no OT which I didn't know until they said near the end. He didn't do much the whole match, was looking forward to watching it. Was pretty disappointing. Was Spencer Lee tied 2-2 before losing or was the Japanese wrestler up 3-2? I thought it was 2-2, but his aggressive move was surprising if that was the case
If I could come back as anything I’d be a jockey. What a feeling that must be coming into the stretch full of horseHorse JUMPING or racing? Definitely not
But now his coach is saying he had a 102 fever when he raced.if he is vaccinated and has covid but no fever/other symptoms then according to the CDC he would be fine to go about normal life and not worry about being around other vaccinated people. I just went through this a few weeks ago and learned a lot about what's allowed and what's not supposed to beAnd he’s out there breathing heavy, hugging and shaking hands with other competitors after the race. Not a wise move there by him…he’s gonna get flamed for it for sure.So Lyles was diagnosed with covid two days ago...
Didn't realize you could still compete in that condition
Lyles is also the anchor in the upcoming 4x100 relay so who knows what’s gonna happen there.
They said that the contestants get a song picked by the committee (or whatever) and do not know what it is going to beFor the breakdancing, everyone not choreographing their routine to Rockit by Herbie Hancock should be docked a full point.
Lewis Johnson holding their feet to the fire was something else thoughDisastrous relay for the US men. That was awful.
Hippling big time since I'm way behind on the replay, but that was amazing.Sha’Carri Richardson is something else holy ****
****ing aye, Rai. Dude was crushed three years ago. You could tell nothing mattered for this guy for the last three years except this race. Talk about redemption.Benjamin kills it in the 400m hurdles.
Roy Jones would like a word. And now the Olympics are saying they can judge THAT?!??
Howl on, buddy. It is dumb. And I like break dancing. They look like idiots. It's the bland version of actual street dancing.I think I'm too old for this.
I called it the dumbest thing I've ever watched and my nephew yelled at me. So apparently I'm just an old man howling at the moon.
Not even slightly accurate. It takes time for the horse and rider to work that well together. And the horse can't do any of that stuff by itself. A horse can't see the jumps when it gets to them. It is relying on and trusting the rider to cue the jump. And it is physically demanding for both horse and rider. Given how few of the Olympic competitors ride cleanly in the ring, plainly not just anyone can do that. This one I don't get at all. It's been part of the games for 100+ years mostly because rich people need a way into the games. But it's not a human doing the work like I think all the other non-horse games are. It's like having shepherding as an event. Yeah, my dog corralled those sheep better than yours.Yeah, break dancing as an Olympic sport is obviously pretty dumb.
But IMO, its no less dumb than stuff like Ice Dancing (the people who aren't good enough to be singles are kicked out to pairs....the couples that aren't good enough to compete in pairs go to ice dancing. Its basically the JV game), dressage (horse dancing?) synchronized swimming, rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized diving
